Hello,As promised, a guide on starting the JS41. This method has been done according to the AOM and Tutorial Flight PDF. It is tried and tested in a variety of situations. This tutorial is intended to be used by those having trouble starting their JS41. It makes use of the unfeather switch and assume that the properllers are in the feathered position, and thus causing the problem in the first place. Hi All, Recently I was looking around for a smallish regional jet just for short trips around the South Coast of UK using FSX. I came across PMDGs' Bae Jetstream 4100, really neat, well finished and accurate representation. I searched through PMDGs' website but no reference to any FSX aircraft only MSFS. So I searched online and the only one I could find was on a well known online market place. I bought the product and the install went fine until I came to the validation, I inputted the key and pressed OK and the message came back "key rejected", thinking I must have done something wrong I tried again, same result. At the same time as I cancelled the input page …

Felt it was time to stir the pot... After seeing posts below in 2017 of the JS41 being tested in P3D using the GTN750 and a FaceBook post with screenshots, there has been no communication. I made the mistake of purchasing the GTN750 for use in the "new" JS41...my bad. So, I am asking PMDG to provide a real status for the JS41...is it or is it not going to be updated and released P3D V4? There are many sim pilots who prefer to fly the smaller turbo props and the JS41 was a staple. I am delighting in the realization that all my Orbx airports in Alaska and the PNW (which BTW are now working beautifully with the latest ObjectFlow) will be suitable destinations for the J-41 in addition to my beautiful DC-6. When I want oil on my jeans, I can have that... and when I want something else, I can have that too.... I left Yakutat for Juneau this morning and wanted to share a few shots of the J-41 in Prepar3d v4.... BE SURE TO CLICK FOR 4K. Hi all, There may be an older message about this but I am unable to download any J41 liveries from the PMDG site/Downloads nor are there liveries offered for that model in the Op Center. It could be my machine that can't translate the website downloads but I'm not very knowledgeable with the XML error types. See link below for the result I get. Hi. I've followed all the start up checklists and tutorials I can find, but after pushback, I can't steer the aircraft and I've noted the Hydraulic system pressure as 0. Can anyone please help? -Ian

Hi All probably first post on here and ive seen this before a year ago. i may be starting a job on JS4100, local company and looking forward to it. i bought the PMDG JS4100 and loaded it to a fresh install of FSX acceleration pack vesion. activated the product and followed all instructions to put this aeroplane on the runway. problem is the aeroplane is running and somethings are working and it flies lovely although i dont have any EHSI and the bottom AHDI screen,nor does the throttle levers or condition levers move even though you can advance them and see the percent of increase on the torque gauges.. i have read about it and tried all the tricks an…

Hello, I purchased the above back in 2015 and it never worked, i stopped FSX.SE for a year or so, i did restart and re-downloaded my 737,777 and decided to try the 4100 and it downloaded have not tried it yet but do have gauges ect. i did try to download liveries from the operations centre with no luck and then from web site the liveries are there but will not download. Any ideas. TerenceJ

I just reinstalled my JS41 aircraft into my FSX SE program. It installed fine, but it appears no liveries are available now. I sure would like to get the United or Delta Express livery. Is there a way to do that? Thanks, Mike Nicholson

Hi to everyone i am new here i just bought the PMDG BAe js 4100 but i havent been able to enjoy it yet. i will really appreciate and it will be awsome if someone with more knowledge than me could guide me step by step to intall it and fly it i dont know if the problem is my fsx or if i am not installing it correctly hel me please!!!

Hello! I saw on youtube a video of the Jetstream 3D cockpit with an integrated Flight1 GTN 750. Is this a well known mod or does anyone know if this is P3D or FSX specific? Thank you!

While trying to get my JS41 follow Flight1's GTN 750 without any luck, I noticed that with GTN set for heading hold steering mode (through config file), with JS41 in V/L VOR1 mode, if you keep pressing NAV button on autopilot panel continuously (several times per second), aircraft will follow the track from GTN !, albeit EHSI will not show CDI needle, etc, but it doesn't matter. The problem is that this NAV button is not default and pressing NAV1 button from default control assignments will not do the same trick. Has anyone got an idea how to somehow determine this custom NAV button and bind it for continuous engagement (through Fsuipc, etc.)? PS. What is…

Anyone know how to assign hardware throttles to get the reversers past 25%? I use FSUIPC for assigning my CH Quad and can assign the throttles to go into reverse but not past 25%. Would love to be able to get them to goo full range in reverse to 100% Nathan Palmer

Hello I heared that nowdays J41 from PMDG have VC integration of GTN 750 for P3D. Now I have only FSX:SE, so I wanted to ask if that is true for my FSX:SE. I apreciate any input. Dont get me wrong, I will one day get into "cage" wioth FMC, but I would preffer not to be owerwhelmed at start where my GTN helps. Thank you Tomislav Hojs

Hi, after a long time I was thinking of reinstalling the J41 again. I'm confused about the files. I downloaded today from my account a new file and then saw there was a Service Pack 1 available. Do I install that one too? Thanks Frank

On the JS41 checklist, some items have an airplane graphic to the left of them - I'm guessing those mark the items that need to be done on a quick turnaround?

Hi All, Not sure if anyone can help or not but here goes! I run the excellent PMDG Jetstream 41 on my PC without any problems. However, I recently installed Flight Sim and the J41 onto my laptop (windows 10). Flight Sim works well and the Jetstream works and flies well apart from the fact that the EHSI and EADI screens aren't working? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Jon.

Hi I have been flying the PMDG BAe JetStream 4100 in FSX. Now that I have P3dv4 I thought I would buy it again but the price showing is $5,000,000.00. Can PMDG please correct the purchase price in my basket to something more reasonable. Stephen Hill

Hello, I am having a lot of issues when starting the JS4100 engines. First, I turn everything off, to make it cold and dark. After that, I turn the batteries on, connect the GPU, do my preflight cheks and before I start the engines I make sure the props are unfeathered. I then proceed with engine n°2 and then with engine n°1. Although I made sure the props are unfeathered, somehow when I remember to double check, I notice both or just one of them is still in a feather position, and that is issue n°1. I've had The PMDG 1900 C and D Imported into FSX for quite some time with no Problems. I hadn't flown the B1900 for awhile and upon loading the Aircraft the AutoPilot Gauges Alt, Hdg, App, BC, Nav above the HSI are blacked out. Anyone have any ideas as how to fix this issue.
