PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

Hi,latterly I have a problem in that, when I load the JS41 at EDDF (Aerosoft) or EGGD (UK2000) my vc panel doesn't appear.There is no problem with other aurports so far, just the above two, although I have still to test with a number of other airports.I have tried reducing graphics setting, using another a/c at startup etc but to no avial. I now am unable to fly from EDDF or EGGD. However, when flying into these airports there is no problem.does anyone have any ideas please?ThanksWG

Hi,I have strange issue with rudder in JS41. I'm trying to use as FSX controls same as FSUIPC (registered) and in both cases this looks very odd. I start to rotate my stick rudder or pedals are moving into desired direction, but only as long as I move the stick. Immediately when I stop moving those jump into center position. Same thing happens when I move stick very slowly. Also, when I move stick to the rightmost or leftmost position and keep it here rudder jumps from corresponding position to center randomly.I've tried to repro this with any default aircraft, but all defaults work fine (tried Cessna, LearJet, and B737).Any suggestions?

Cant get the changes to set/stay in yhe loadmanager for the JS4100... How do I fix that? I run on Win7 with FSX SP1 and SP2I can change the values in the manager, but I cant save them. The manager just keeps "fall back" at the "default" settings.Please, any idea how to fix that?Best RegardsPer St

Hello,I was wandering, why Radio Altimeter is not 0 on the ground, but 5-6. The same is while landing, PNF says 50...40...30...20...10 and saying 10 the plane is 4-5 feet up a runway. Why? Is it possible to calibrate Radio Alt.?Michal Pierzchala

I have a new computer with fresh Windows 7. Fresh install of FSX w/SP2 and all Windows updates and latest drivers. I installed J41 and now when I start a mission FSX crashes to the desktop. Any ideas?Thank you,Dan Allen

Happy New Year!I went back to XP 64 and tried to load the JS41 but all I get is the BSOD. A few times I could get to the Activation Key window only to get the BSOD when selecting activate. I've tried so many different ways including loading the default flight first to deleting the CFG file. I've selected setup and repaired the software I don't know how many times.In the event viewer I'm getting faulting module pmdg_bae_js4100_2dll. I've downloaded from a CD and the PMDG site so it can't be a bad file.Any ideas,Bernie Graetsch

Hi.Purchased the J41 recently and love it - it's incredible! Hats off to PMDG for making such a groundbreaking product!Surprisingly haven't had any mishaps regarding blowing up engines etc, but was a little confused as to cruise configurations.What is a typical cruising speed for the J41? I'm doing the tutorial flight at the moment, and it doesn't mention cruise speed. I read in the AOM that power should be set at 10 degrees lower than maximum EGT, but this gives a cruising speed of about 240kts (almost overspeed). Also at these higher speeds in tutorial configuration, the trim indicator gives a lot of nose-down trim (at 230 kts the bar is over 'SMC' whatever that mea…

Anyone care to take on a fictional J41 in Skywest Corp colors?

I have been experiencing a problem with the JS4100. After a flawless flight of about 250 miles (No small feat - it's a challenge to master this aircraft!) I landed successfully, used thrust reverse/spoilers, brought the throttles back to flight idle and the condition levers back to taxi and pulled off the runway. After stopping briefly, I proceeded forward, only to have the right engine burst into flames. This is the second time this has happened - the first time I was taxiing having just started up. Any idea what might be causing this problem?

I absolutely love the jetstream, it is the best plane I have in my hanger (until NGX)Just one question on the altitude mode, During a flight the plane might just decend 500 feet randomly and then very slowley climb up up to the set altitude, but exceed it by 250-300 feet. and then settle at the chosen altitude.I dont know if this is a bug in the program, Im doing something wrong, system specific or something completely different.PS, Thanks to Robert S Randazzo for reduceing the refund for an accidental second purchuse fee from $10 to $5 because it was the christmas holiday period. Hello,Nice aircraft. On my system, the weather radar does not display nor does the light for the spoilers when active. In fact, when landing, the spoilers are not deployed. Yes, the switch is active.Best Regards,Greg Fischer

Hi all,I am haɓing an issue with engine start! I must have missed something important as when I start the left engine, the MASTER START switch does not return automaticly to its AIR position! When I try it again, it returns to AIR without starting the engines!! I recently purchased the JS41 and I am still learning!!Please helpIbrahima S

Hi,I downloaded the J41 and it installs ok. But the window in which I'm supposed to enter the registration key does not appear. I searched the forum and checked the hint with the window hidden behind the FSX in FullScreen Mode, but there was no window anywhere on my desktop. I uninstalled and reinstalled serveral times, using registry cleaner in between, but still no possibility for a registration. Without it, the tutorial cannot be started due to lack of ground power and the freeflight has no instruments.I ran Win XP Home, SP3, FSX with AccelerationAny help would be appreciatedGunter Schneider

Hi everybody!Finaly I reinstalled the whole FSX and now the beauty (JS4100) loads and work as she should! Thanks for all Your tips and hint dear friends!But...The loadmanager... I can set different values, eg, gray panel, no passenger, no icing effect... I can do that in the load manager, but I can see no changes when I fly her...And when I look back at the load manager, everything is back to what it was before I changed the values in the manager... strange, Do You guys know what the problem could be???I have FSX with SP1 and SP2, I bougt the JS4100 a few days ago... so I have not installed the SP1 for JS4100, do I need that to make the manager work ok??? I don't want to have to buy another program just to compile plans for one plane, no matter how good, I am on a fixed income, can you please make her FSX plan compatible like the34 MD-11 and 747, and ensure that the new 737 is?

I recently installed the PMDG JS 4100 (See PC Specs Below). I have not yet been able to load the plane. I have tried to load it now 5 times, each time trying something different. I have loaded the default 172, and a couple of other addons first, but every time I select to load the JS the PC freezes and then within seconds I get the "Fatal Error" message. I did a few searches in this and other forums but have not yet been able to find an answer. FYI, I do run many high-end FSX addons, including PMDG MD-11 and 747, and no problems loading any of these. i also use REX, UTX US, UTX CDA, and UTX EU, GEX US and GEX EU and have a ton of addon scenery including FSDreamTeam ORD an…

Hello,I am wondering how much level of expertise is needed for knowing how to use the JS4100? Will i need lots of multi-engine experience to fly it? (I bought this product from PMDG som i have the right key etc...)The I can fly the plane, but when i sould turn of FSX hangs up and cant quit normaly... Hello fellow JS41 users,I reinstalled the JS41, along with update patch. In VC, I am getting flashing/random blocks that are 1/4 size of screen and flash in all 4 quandrants. Outside view is not affected. I am not having any problem with other add-on payware programs or the default aircraft in FSX. No drivers have been changed or updates.I remember seeing this type of a problem some time back but cannot find the thread that listed a "fix".You help would be most appreciated.Thanks,cthiggin

Hi gents,due the missing addon, can anybody confirm that the newest AIRAC cycle 0913 IS NOT working with the Jetstream, but works with all other PMDG addons?We have a question regarding this issue in our forum and I want to know if this is a common problem or a user problem!Thank you,Rich
