I have just purchased the Jetstream, it should ask me for my license when i first run it but all I get is a dialogue box telling me "Initilialisation of license has failed"Any ideas Wycliffe BarrettVATUK4 DCRM

Hi,Every time I load a flight with the Jetstream I can hear the engines running for a short while before shutting down again, this also happens when I change aircraft from another aircraft to the Jetstream within FSX. The other problem I have is sometimes I load the flight and the engines are already fully up and running, tried everything I can think off, all to no avail. Can any one help please?Roy

Hello,Please take a look at the attached screenshot of the JS-41 VC. I'm using 5040x1050 resolution with TH2GO and 3 monitors. I'm wondering why the 3rd monitor section on the far right looks all stretched out. Is that something that can be corrected?ThanksTony

Please help me! Whenever i go to turn the prop on on the J41, it wont start. I am following the manual closely, and all my FSX settings are OK. All of the values on the flightdeck are good. The engines have been started before. Help!

good day everyone,I have an issue with my pmdg b1900 the propelor area "swallows" every scenery and it is a little annoying.pic for example:I am using it in FSX...any suggestions to fix it?

I haven't flown the J4100 in a couple of weeks. Yesterday, when I started a flight I noticed the nav radios, and all popup panels (fms, fcs, etc) no longer work. I can set up the flight and use all the buttons in the VC except the nav radios. When I open the FCS or FMS using "views" the knobs are missing, and none of the buttons work. The same thing happens when I try to click on the FMC in the VC. It won't open in a seperate window.I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling the plane, repairing and reinstalling the SP, but still have the same problem. I deleted and rebuilt the FSX.cfg file, turned off UT2 and my AV program (Trend-Micro) with no luck. I've also tried bot…

I was windering if someone out there could make a repaint of the PMDG J41 in Air France or KLM colors. I would do it myself, but im not good at repaints :)

Sorry that I must say this, but the J41 makes no fun at all to me.I am not able to get this bird running properly. Even not with the tutorial.This never happend with any other PMDG airplane. The J41 is obviously made for specialists only. It needs to read (and understand) a lot of paper. Hi!I was reading about powerbacks (pushing back using reverse thrust) and thought i'd try it!I was at Newquay parked at a gate, with fair weather set, and engaged a little reverse thrust and the aircraft moved backwards - no problem.However, I changed the weather to a light westerly breeze (8kts), and with the aircraft parked 'side-on' to the wind, reverse thrust wouldn't make the aircraft move at all!Strange - is this meant to happen?Regards,Tom Wright

Hello to AllHave brought the J41 and can think of nothing but praise, did the tutorial flight last night, however I have a couple of questions. Firstly is the TOCWS, even though I managed to plane fully configured for take off I think (honestly) it was by accident. The only things I can think of are 1) Condition Levers to flight mode, 2) Flaps to 9 degrees, 3) Parking Brake off (obviously), 4) Spoilers armed, 5) APR off (depends on circumstances), 6) Take Off/Go Around switch on power levers. The second question I have is about the VS Mode with the autopilot. I can engage it but have no idea how to change the VS value that appears in cyan in the bottom right hand corner o…

My friend and I were on my multiplayer server last night trying to figure out if the PMDG J41 can consistently get into and out of St Barts in the Caribean. We figured it might be just a hair too risky for our Virtual Airline route schedule. Anyway, I recorded a few landings/attempts and threw the video together in 15 minutes to finally get to bed...Hope you enjoy the video....Watch in fullscreen HD if you can... JB

I have an oldish system but it runs both the 747 and MD11 ok.I have to tune things carefully but it works!Now if that is the case will the J42 also run, in other wordsis the J41 harder on frame rates than the above two?Thanks,David

Among other issues here are some that persist:1) Saitek controls (Pro Yoke, Rudder Pedals and Throttle Quad) all have the latest Saitek drivers and are set up in the FS settings but work intermittently. To correct a non-functioning unit I have to pull the USB plug and re-insert it, which then causes a "Driver Load" and then it works fine ... until the next time.2) JS Auto Pilot occasionally goes on vacation and refuses to control the airplane although all the lights are green indicating it should ... but no deal ... it won't go so low as to steer using the HDG command or maintain the ALT. Up until yesterday the XP weather was working as set up by PMDG with the screen only showing within the J41 weather instrument. I have now installed Windows 7 ( upgrade) and whilst all seems to be good, the weather instrument in the J41 has now changed to not only the screen but also the surround within the the panel unit. This makes the viewing part much smaller. I know this is not PMDG's responsibility as their setting up was more of a favour but can anyone tell me how to get it back to what it was.Madair
