Okay I seem to be missing something! I have gone through the tutorial 3 times now and I can not for the life of me get the flight plan to show up on the EHSI. And now a new problem has popped up! on my last two tries I can't seem to start the right engine! The low RH pressure light is on and even if I back out and start from the beginning of the checklist I can't get it to extinguish. With the flight plan not showing, is there a range knob? I have LNAV set on the MCP and I've tried the VORs and nothing.With the engine problem, I'm lost! I was able to start her np now I dunno!

Hi folks,I have worked with this aircraft quite a bit but have never gotten airborn. The screen simply freezes but never at the same spot twice, and I get the message that "Windows is restarting". I have a fast quad core system and very good graphics card. Anybody with similar problems?ThanksEric Olson

Dear Aircraft Engineers. I wonder if any one can help with this strange problem. Too frequently I'm finding that when I come to start the engines all I can achieve is Jump Seat Operation. No matter which button I click on the overhead panel all I get is - jump seat up or down. What can this mean I wonder? Due to me knowing nothing about computers it is not something i can work out.I have windows XP i run FSX. i have been enjoying the JS 4100 for about three months now and love it.i have the new version uplaoded aswell.However all of a sudden i can not seem to use the JS4100.When i go to free flight then choose an aircraft i can load any type that i have [defult and payware] except for the JS4100.i have uninstalled and reinstalled the JS and i have also deleted all the files left in FSX.everytime i try and use the JS4100 [load it from the free flight window or even if i try and change aircraft …

Dear all,a friend of mine and myself are having problems with the first waypoint of any SID. For example, if you dial in the WRB6G departure in EDDV, it will insert the following waypoints:TK092 DV153 DV156 DLE NORTA TOLTA WRBThe "evil" one is TK092, which is about 60 NM off the runway. Having a quick look at the file EDDV.txt, I found the following line:SID WRB6G RNW 09R TRK 092 UNTIL 600 FIX OVERFLY DV153 FIX DV156 FIX DLE FIX NORTA FIX TOLTA FIX WRBSo I guess TK092 shall mean "track 092" (i.e. runway heading of the 09R).Is this a bug in the AIRAC 1001 or is this a general problem with the JS41? Hello I have purchased and installed Js41 from PMDG today this included SP1 and is running on FSX I printed out the pilot tutorial to follow and loaded up the tutoial flight from KHPN upon switching on the battery check nothing happens no voltage display no engine start nothing.I have tried starting up with the engines running but the cockpit gauges arn't on the avionics are switched to on I have a gauge showing in the middle og the fms but the fms won't switch on.I am running on windows 7 64bit on an Intel power mac using bootcamp to dual boot.Any advise please?Thanks Phil Broadhurst

High there!Has someone any idea where I could find the tutorial flight in my FSX? As described in the PILOT TUTORIAL I started my fsx but in the "saved flights" section I can find only flights I saved myself. There is no "PMDG BAe JS4100 Tutorial 1 at KHPN" at all! The J41 is well instaled and also works properly but I would realy like to learn to fly this bird correctly.Thanks a lot for any answer!Awil

I have FSPassengers installed on my system and I liked to use it in my flights before mainly for three reasons:1. It provided easy passenger, cargo and fuel loading2. It gave me random failures at a preset rate of chance.3. It gives me scores and penalties if I do something wrongNow, the first one can be beautifully done within JS41 itself using weight&balance worksheet (except for the fueling but I have another gadget for fueling and it's not problem). In fact it's so nice to load passengers and cargo with this that I prefer this to FSPassengers' loading. But I miss that little anxiety for the failures. I've had this problem occur in the past but it is recently creeping back and destroying my sim fun.I was flying a typical approach into JFK runway 22L, I was 200 feet above the runway when I disconnected the AP. Everything was lined up perfectly when all of a sudden 50 feet above the runway the J41 decided to make a hard right and turn over out of control into the ground. There was nothing I could do to stop it. This has happened to me before, sometimes I'm 500 ft up sometimes like this I'm just feet above the runway. There was hardly any wind, and even if there was it shouldn't do that. Has this happened to others?I'm using ASA/RC and flightsim commander. Any insight int…

I have fsx and I bought the JS41 nice aircraft but I have an issue with the ramp manager. so I installed the FSX SP2 to solve the issue, did not work. when I installed fsx sp2 and started FSX it gave me an error saying that the graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support. That this product requires a geforce3/radeon 8500 class or better graphics card. when I uninstall this fsx sp2 it runs but when i call up the ramp manager the ramp manager will ot let me click on gpu or anything else in the box can someone help me please.. Yes would like to know if there is or will pmdg have a cold and dark start for the js41 I enjoy the aircraft greatly and would love to have ths as a cold and dark aircraft when i call the aircraft up engines running is not realistic and sure others would enjoy this as well gives a more sense of realism. Is there anway u cn get the engines to not be on when you load the aircraft?Thank YouLewis Brooks

Hi, I finally went ahead and bought the J41 after I have a craving for some sight seeing and short regional flights. Fantastic aircraft except:I try to use the Shift +1-5 assignment for ramp manager etc and It doesn't work, I can access and use them in the pull down menu (views) but not with the shift+ keys. I looked in the PMDG key command menu and it only lists "toggle MCDU 2". Is there anyway I can reassign these views/panels?BTW I do have FSX SP2 installed Thanks

The Ramp manager will not work when I call it up. When I installed the FSX SP2 I received a fatel error saying that I need a Different sound card and Gforce card what can I do. I run on Vista and had no problems before. until I tried to install the FSX SP2 in order to get the ramp maager to call up. any help on this issue.Thank YouLewis B

Hello,I had given up entirely on the dead FMS problem in the J4100. I took one final stab at the problem and emailed PMDG for a new download link.They were very helpful and responded almost immediately with the link. I followed their instructions as to what to delete and then reinstalled the J4100. The major difference with this download is it already has the SP1 in it.Voila - the new install is working fine so far.I have no idea if this is a real solution but it is working for me. I made no other changes or reinstalls in my system (XP)Cheers,Ron Sagel

Hi there,Now I have given up :-(Bought the plane and have taken it for some trips now.Somehow the right fuel tank made it down to zero on the last trip.However no mather what I do now, it is only possible to fuel the left tank.The right one stays zero.I have tried to load different planes before the J41. Ex. the Baron gives me the option to fuel both tanks.When the J41 are loaded I am only allowed to fuel the left side.Loading a saved flight, even the default tutorial, ends up with the same result.Please help, so I can log some hours in this beautiful plane.Regards Peter Thisted
