Hello everyone, I recently installed the PMDG J41 Jetstream (Box version from Aerosoft) again on my new computer. Installation seemed to work fine. However, when choosing the aircraft in the FSX menu, entering the license key into the popup window and clicking on 'Activate', the window disappears and reappears after a couple of seconds, asking me to enter the key. The aircraft isn't activated either. Since yesterday I tried it several times without success. Is the activation server offline? Thanks for your help.

Hello! I have been searching a little in the AOM manual and here but didn't find anything (maybe it was in front of me.. but didn't see it). Is there any tutorial or information how to introduce new points in the FMC? I mean for example: 28DME distance from VOR "LOL" in radial 243. Thanks!

Hello! I have a problem with the Nav page of the FMC. Once I program for example a SID and I press the enter key in the NAV page of the FMC to make it active, how I can change the next active point to something changed? I mean, imagine I go and have to change to another SID. There is no problem changing in the Departure page, but in the NAV page I hit ENTER and don't change anything, remains the old first point of the old SID.. even pressing the LFK near the function and deleting it don't help. I have to write the next point by hand.. but I believe the rest of the points of the old SID remains.

Some days the engines start, some days the left one doesn't, some days the right one...I'm lost :blink:

I just installed the 4100 today and when I am in the VC the screen flashes as if it was in four pieces. I tried to fix it from the installer no help. I can't imagine it is my rig. Please help. Thanks, Ron

Hi Im wondering if pushback is made with the engines in the JS41. The pushback procedures section in the AOM its blank, and as Im new on this, I would like to ensure if its made with the engines or there are also other procedures in the real life. Thanks Asier

I think my JS is buggy, at least it gets "crazy" if: - I close FSX and continue to fly some time later - I do'nt close FSX, put pC in SLEEP mode, after awakening it What "crazy" means? - Engines are set on fire for themselves(...) - AP is disconected - Brakes work poorly after landing ( I'll need a longer runway I'm using FSX , W7 Ultimate, 64b Some suggestions, please?

I recently added a Buttkicker to my sim setup after reading a topic on it in the NGX forum. It's a great addition and truly makes a difference to FSX however it doesn't appear to work so well with the JS41 compared to the NGX or GA aircraft such as the Realair Legacy. With the JS41 while in flight looking forward in the VC there is no feedback through the Buttkicker. If I turn to look out the side windows then I will get some feedback. Is there anything I can do to get some subtle feedback from Buttkicker while in cruise looking forward in the VC? Regards, Serge

Hey guys, I got a problem with the paintkit from the JS41. As there is no...Master_T_SPEC.psd file inlcuded I am struggeling with the night texture for the wings. All things I have tried: converting a non colored ...MASTER_T_SPEC.dds into .psd and flipped my painting in 1024x1024 over it - reduced to one level and converted it back (dds converter 2 - DXT5 with alpha channel) into a .psd file. I just downloaded an Android app that simulates a screen switch interface for FSX. So are there any keyboard commands for manipulating switches and such for the JS4100?

Hello! The other day wanted to make a fast taxi to test Opus camera movement. I started the Left engine and was ok. released the brakes, the chocks and the GPU and applied throttle. Nothing the plane didn't move. Only when I started the second engine I could move. I thought that maybe it was because I had to unlock it, so pull the left throttle on another session with just the left engine running. I couldn't unlocked it becuase the other engine was not running... mmmm.. is it possible? In reality sure yes.. but here? How? Thanks!

Dear All, The J41 FMC has another BUG. In my previous post User Defined Waypoont are missed by the AP, due to a problem in the calculation of the Latitude and Longitude coordinates by the FMC. In addition, Offset Waypoints do not work. For example, I entered an Offset Waypoint: Parent Waypoint: KFHR Radial: 120 Degrees Distance: 16 NM The LAT/LON for the Offset WPT thrown by the FMC is: N48 19 28 and W122 45 14 which is wrong. Hello, when I try to install the PMDG_BAE_JS4100 it tells me that I don't have fsx sp1 or later installed. I have the gold edition fsx and sp2 installed. also I can not get into my account on the web site, it tells me that my account doesn't exist. I have windows 8 installed. Name: William murphy.

Good morning folks, i have a question regarding selling the Jetstream 4100. I Installed it once and activatet it on my PC, but somehow im just not getting happy with FSX. So im Switching back to fs2004, and was thinking about buying the Pmdg 737. But my question now would be, if it is possible to sell the Jetstream or if i activatet it once i can't sell it? Super add-ons BTW.... but alas I am in love with the JS4100 ... and I haven't flown the 737 for a while... Great Job to all PMDG staff .... Is there an easy way to set IAS Altitude changes without using tool tips ? Have I mentioned how much fun this one is to fly?.... Is there a way to use an axis controller to control Reversers ? I have fsuipc and see how to set a FS control using ranges.. but I don't see how to set a number of repeats and just sending 1 F2 or Throttle Decr isn't enough and if you repeat it you always get max reverse..

Hi, Have been flying the JS4100 for a couple of months now, absolutely fantastic! I've developed my own checklist for all stages of flight, which is attached for anyone who is interested. It's not the full detail as per the operating manual, but it's enough for a full flight without blowing up the engines. It covers four sides of A4, I have mine on two double-sided laminated sheets. It also covers a few things that crop up from time to time in the forum, including air starts and T/O distances. Hi There, I installed the PMDG JS41 after a long absence and it seemed to be working fine. After reading a number of good reviews on FS2Crew I decided to give myself a Xmas present. After installing FS2Crew the JS41 kept suffering a fatal error and FSX restarts or CTD. After trying a few 'fixes' I decided to uninstall FS2Crew and the JS41 then reinstall the JS41 and try running with that. Same situation in that it sufferes a fatal error. Other aircraft seem to load and perform fine. Something may have corrupted FXS and after searching this forum can not find a fix just people with similar problems - and those are outdated.
