Steve's groundroll enhancement gave us some improved sounds for the NGX, most of these can't be applied to the J41 because it doesn't model as many sounds. But it does have wiper sounds, so with his permission I adjusted the speed and tried them on the J41, I like his wiper sounds much better. I've been doing alot more night flights lately, and FS2Crew turns on a "logo" light that lights up the tail. It looks fantastic on some of the better liveries. But I can't for the life of me find that switch in the cockpit, I want to be able to control it manually too. It's not in the normal bank of light switches. Does anyone know the switch for this?

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if it is a normal procedure that when you pushback the FMS get disconnected because of lost GPU ? Avionics are turned off by copilot (with FS2crew) but FMS just get disconnected and when pushback is over it is energized again but has lost many info that had been entered previously. I've reviewed the Operating Manual as well as various forums, and can't seem to find a runway length requirement for the BAE J-41. I am aware that it depends on various factors, such as aircraft/cargo weight, elevation, wind, etc. What I am looking for is a way to determine if a given runway length is adequate for landing. Hi folks, it seems that the Dash8s don't need unfeathered prop blades during shut down. Do the pilots unfeather them before engine start, or can the starters stand unfeathered engines starts? Thanx,

Morning folks. This is the 1st time I have fired up the JS41 in a while, and I was trying to load the Ramp Manager. It is in my instrument panel options, however, for some reason when I click on it, or hit Shift+2 it does not show up. I can get the FMC and the GPS to load, just not the manager. Any ideas short of a full re-install? Thanks.

So today I rolled the JS41 out of the hanger after spending months in the B737 and the MD11, and as I stood at the ramp I wanted to familiarize myself with the cockpit again. Just to remember where all the switches are if needed... Then I came over the ELT switch at the left. First I thought, nice to see it in such an aircraft as the B737 and the MD11 don't seem to have the manual ON switch in the cockpit. While I looked at it I thought, well is it working? Then, without any hope I dialed in 121.500 MHz into my Radio and switched it to ON. And I was really surprised to see that it actually created the beeping sound on the emergency frequency just as it should. That jus…

There does not seem to be a centralised repaint thread for the JS41 like there is for the 737, so I will make my own. Just uploaded a repaint of Cassovia Air JS41, based on JS31 that airline wanted to get in 1994 but never did. I am planning to fly it to the US northwest from Kosice... One day....

Here's an aircraft no developer has made yet, the Fairchild F-27 and FH-227, bet PMDG could do a great job modeling this plane.

Hey, So I am getting multiple migranes attempting to install addon liveries to the B1900C. I have correctly installed into my FSX folder and the PMDG House livery is starting to get old. And the program to add the livery is as clear as fog! Where do I choose to put the livery!? I have tried the texture folder, the PMDG B1900C Express, Airplanes, SimObjets, and the main FSX folder and the livery is NOWHERE. I need help........

Love this aircraft! I am able to create a flight plan and fly it using the FMS but I cannot seem to save it so that it remains in the database. It appears to assign a file name and save when I press the enter button but when I go to the flight plan list page it is not there. The only flight plan that appears in the list is the demo that came with the aircraft. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Dave

Hi folks, I found some time to create an update of the Eastern Airways (EZE) aircraft day-by-day plan. By marking in the original timetable (http://www.easternai...a/timetable.pdf) the already used flights, my compendium should be more or less complete now. Of course there might be more aircrafts available at Aberdeen or Newcastle to exchange if necessary. Nevertheless the shown planning should be feasible. Also there are some holes in my planning: No flights in the timetable to fill them. I've been enjoying the JS41 for just over a year now, but something has come up that is a bit annoying and I would love to be able to fix it. In the beginning, I was amazed at this bird's autopilot system. I would intercept the LOC (on a reasonable intercept angle) with absolutely no overshoot and it would track the LOC and GS down to the DH without even a hint of deviation on the needles, literally none to be seen. At that stage, the Jetstream was my only add-on apart from IVap client. These days things aren't going so smoothly. The GS tracking became worse up to the point where it would deviate up to 1 "dot" close to DH. A few weeks ago I did an FSX rebuild and thin…

Hi, I am trying out J41 for the first time. I keep getting config warnings as I advance power for take off. I can not think what the problem is. I didnt get it a couple of times so thought I had it sussed but last night sat on the runway for 10 minutes and could not find the problem I am following the check list. And I tried all of the following Flaps 9 Spoilers armed Take off bugs set Trim TO portion of green band Power setting Flight gust locks off. I have been trying to download the Continental Connection (normal livery) textures for the B1900d, and all I get is a broken link. Is there anywhere i can find this repaint or the link could be fixed?

Im wearing a headset and that continuous clicking clicking sound needs to go. I dont know what the sound is so I cant disable it in sounds folder. Can anybody help to detect this sound in sounds folder ?

Hello, The EADI and navigation displays don't display any information, for example, on the speed bar, compass and vertical speed indicator, on my J41. They are on as I can see the artificial horizon and compass etc, however no data is displayed. I'd be very grateful if someone could provide a solution, Thank you

Anyone using AccuFeel for the J41? I already have EZDOK and I dont know if AccuFeel would bring anything more.
