Hello, Do somebody know which equipment code I could use for the PMDG JS41? Is it only /g ?

Hi When choosing the departure for an active flightplan, how does one choose only the runway and no sid or transition if they are available on the depart page. Example: My fplan LGKR to LMML Departure: Runway 35 turn Right direct KRK thence.. If I choose rwy35 on depart page then press Enter button the FMC curser highlights one of the available sids. At this point there seems to be no way to exit the depart page without choosing a sid/transition. My question: How do I choose a runway and no sid and transition? Thankyou Paul Burley

I just finished my second attempt at flying the PMDG J4100 using the fmc flight plan LGKR - LMML. I had just reached cruise alt when every froze and a message appeared: FSX has encountered a fatal error. I I have Aerosoft Corfu(LGKR) scenery installed. Yesterday exactly the same thing happened but I had REX real weather running. Today I tried the same flight without REX. Other than a freeware paint job(Fedex) from the Avsim library and EzDOK I have no other add ons. Anyone else have a crash like this? Paul Burley

When I load the tutorial flight the aircraft is sitting on the ramp, doors closed, no baggage cart, pylons, or ground power unit attached, props in the fine pitch position, cockpit on battery power, yellow alert light on, with that lovely altimeter clicking noise running. Since I like to start with the cockpit cold and dark I imagined I could simply shut off the avionics and battery power, secure the cockpit, save the flight with a new name, and use it as my default setup. What I have found however is that no matter what I do I cannot get the cocpit to load in a cold and dark state. The second and I presume related part of my quandry is the fact that any action I …

Someone was asking about putting in multiple offset waypoints in a row in another thread here. So I was thinking since the HOLD feature is not modelled in our PMDG version GNS-XLS, maybe we could just fly the hold using several offset waypoints around the fix? Do you guys fly your holding patterns like this? I've been practicing some holding patterns using the VOR or NDB, plus the RMI and Heading mode for the second leg. But I wonder if it's easy to use the FMS instead.. or it could be harder because you have to keep entering those waypoints constantly. It seems kind of difficult to figure out the second and third waypoints though without drawing a picture an…

I do not own FS9 and have seen and used this product on a friends FSX setup. Is it possible to buy this product and install it into FSX. I was thinkning that all I would need to do would be to build a sudo FS9 directory with appropriate directories to capture the files correctly.

Good Morning, I am enjoying the j41 very much and after a full reinstall, finally have the unfeather pumps working well. I still seem to have an issue with the altimeter though. I can press "B" once and it sets but soon after loading up and getting started the "b" button no longer works to change the altimeter. I had to manually set it throughout the flight and I'm not even sure it was correct as on approach last night I was under the glidescope the whole way... Any thoughts about the altimeter workings? I'm running Active Sky 2012 and FSpassengersX but no other add-on utilities. Thanks, Joe

My system was just built a few days ago. I7 processor 16 GB Ram OS drive and FS on separate disks FSX w/ acceleration pack installed GeForce GT 640 with updated drivers from NVIDIA This was a clean install, all win 7 patches installed. No Add-on other the Carendo B200 All default everything else in FSX. All function on the J41 work until I hit Alt and access any of the menus. I recently discovered this annoying camera pod thin under the belly of my j41. how can i get rid of this?

Its a minor thing, but when I start my J41 I hear the starter for a couple of seconds before the props start turning. My understanding of single shaft turboprop engines, the 331 in particular, is that if the starter is turning, everything is turning. This includes the prop. Is this an FSXism because they think all TP engines are PT6 type free turbines? Just wondering if that struck anyone else as odd. On a lighter note, I love my J41!

Has anyone found a solution to the props on the 1900C when used with FSX and SP2? I've been doing a lot of reading on the forums and the rest of the internet but cannot find any solution.

Hi everyone. I have owned the J41 since it came out, but becasuse of a lack of time and motivation, I never really got around to flying with it. I found some time this weekend, though, and I finally completed the tutorial flight without blowing up the engines/going hopelessly off course/scaring the pax out of their minds However, I found that SIDs and STARs confuse me. Can someone point me to an online source that explains how to fly SIDs/STARs and all the details about using them and programing them into the FMC? For example, how do you find the proper crossing altitudes? How do you know which SID/STAR to fly? Can you use default FSX ATC when flying one? Thank you very …

Hi,I have been flying the J41 for a week or two,it is a great product though think I'm going to need FS2crew to help me along,one or two minor problems are the spoilers have never deployed even though the spoiler green light comes on on the flightdeck,the secondary(standby) alt only reads thousands the other three figures remain on zero.I downloaded the service pack for the J41 but on installation it said it was already installed,is it worth installing anyway?I think there may be a thread for the spoiler problem but I can only find one for spoiler not retracting,any help appreciated, Thanks

Waypoints put into FMS...All the other inputs are correct as well (Weight, fuel, VNAV etc) Take off, get to stable climb then push direct to next waypoint. Push nav button/ap button and acft starts to turn.. Passes intercept point and seems to head back to initial start point... Any ideas on what Im doing wrong? It has worked before...

Does anyone know what engine horsepower PMDG modelled in the Jetstream 41's dynamics? The TPE331-14s fitted came in 1500 and 1650 hp flavours, and I've seen both numbers mentioned in PMDG documentation.

Dear Sirs, Hope all is well. I have a problem with the FMC and AP in the J41. I have made a FPL through the FMC, where one of the Waypoints was user defined (not offset), I have entered manually POS: N 48 31.19 W 123 01.27 OverFly: YES When flying to this Waypoint, the Autopilot misses it, it flies (EXACTLY) over N 48 31 W123 01, ignoring the decimals (or seconds). Please note that when flying to an existing Database Waypoint this issue doesn't happen. Can anyone help me? Thanks Federico Sucari

HI Guys, I have recently purchased the J41,however I am having a few problems,the load manager appears when I want it but the mouse won't click on the various icons to make things appear/dissappear,I can't seem to get any radios to work or the transponder,the FMC is working but I can't click it into 2D view other than using the shift key.I have only recently started using FSX and had to download the SP1 pack to install the J41,I don't have the SP2 installed or the acceleration? download.My system is a 3ghz dual core intel processor,4gb ram,nvidea gt520 1gb graphics card.I don't have any other third party aircraft as I was hoping to concentrate on the J41.I have tried…

Hi all, a couple of quick questions. 1. Is it possible to insert multiple offset waypoints? I have come across a strange behaviour when inserting multiple consecutive wps. Let's take MAURO wp. After inserting MAURO in the FPL I insert MAURO* rad240.0 dis 28.4 then MAURO* rad246.0 dis 28.1 and after initializing the NAV and VNAV pages some of the offsets disappear. ANybody got any advice? 2. What is the FLY OVER option in the ofset page when you specify the rad and dist of such a wp? Thanks you in advance!

Hello I am intrested in buying the J41, but was not sure about the fram rates I would get with my system specs. I have an AMD 1.8ghz quad core processer, 5GB of RAM, and crappy Nvidia inegrated graphics. I know I meet the minimum specs, but I am not sure that it would be worth it to buy it and fly with 5fps.
