Hi,The save flight feature is really great in particularly I'd like to use it so I can practice ILS approaches. However loading a saved flight my ILS is not tuned. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Or it could be added to a future patch?Best Regards,Paul

I know the FMC in the 747 is very different from that of the 737NG. I am also aware that there is no means of scrolling through a list and importing flight plans from the 747 FMC menu, like the 737NG FMC. Now my question is, in order to load a plan into the 747 FMC do I simply type in the .Rte file name in the folder (eg. KDEN-PHNL or KDENPHNL, whatever) and activate the plan that way? Or do I have to manually enter the waypoints for the plan that I already have in the PMDG FLIGHTPLANS folder? I wouldn't think so since I believe the 'NG and 747 FMCs' use the same .Rte file types. Also, in the flight plans folder I see there are both .Rte & .Rte2 files. Does anyone …

This should fix the inconsistency in the FMC/CDU wind reporting which also affects fuel management reporting, ETAs, etc. The headwind component was incorrectly calculated for the wind vector as noted on the CDU displays. The error was introduced in 3.51 when wind smoothing options were applied within FSUIPC by the user or external weather applications such as the later Active Sky series.The fix was applied in interim release 3.5114 a short time ago.

Question. During the recent problems with the fs9 weather download, I mistakenly thought I had a problem with the basic program and deleted and reloaded. All my PMDG products remained on board it would appear, but after downloading the current nav data files I am still receiving no data msg on the FNC when attempting to load a flight plan. My question is do I need to replace all my PMDG products?ThanksRichard Churchill

here's a weird one. after searching around the forum alot i decided my experience was unique enough to post. i have the most recent version of the pmdg 737 800/900 series along with FS2Crew for it. the first time i booted up the 737 as per the instructions it worked great, but now ever since FS immediately quits or freezes after a while when loading the AIRAC data. what would you guess the problem is and any suggestions would be great i really hope i dont have to uninstall everything as this would be a last resort thanks, chris

Help Me!! All of a sudden when I am loading a flightplan into the FMC, I'm receiving "not found in database" or something to that effect. It worked fine a couple of days ago. I reinstalled PMDG 737 and no change. Anybody else having this problem?:-hmmm

Doing a crash (sorry, not a very good use of this word in our hobby!) course in the PMDG 747-400. Just wanted to see if I understand this correctly:If in VNAV with AT engaged, Thrust Reduction occurs automatically once you pass the FMC-set thrust reduction altitude.However, if not flying in VNAV--but still with AT engaged--there is no automatic thrust reduction; you must reduce thrust "manually" by hitting the THR button on the MCP at whatever your thrust reduction altitude is.Correct?Thanks for any posts!Jonathan

My greetings to all Captains,I've been flying the Queen for about three months and must confess that it is amazing, truly realistic and yet unpredictable. Why? Because every time I'm on-board it offers more and more to discover and enjoy :) I'm facing to the PMDG team for a humble question, may be a suggestion, which I believe would satisfy all PMDG community and add extra realism to what we have now if realised. It's not about dissatisfaction, God forbid, i'm pretty much ok with the Queen but is a matter of boosting some adrenaline in our simulation experience. So, is there any plan to include some realistic changes in the cabin/deck pressure when, for example, the doors…

How do you open the different doors in the 744 without using keyboard shortcuts? What would the pilot actually press in the cockpit to do it? Also, can you pull up to a boarding tunnell and then open the door it connects to so that the passengers can board through there just like in real life?Thanks a lot in advance for any help, JTH :)

Hi, was wondering if anyone had noticed this problem? Hi guys,I'm wondering, what is the reasoning for Boeing to offer 3 engine variants on the 744? In the sim itself it seems that the performance of the enignes (thrust, fuel consumption etc) is pretty similar. However there must be some real-world differences or else why would you offer a choice?Anyone know the answer(s)?

I have a strange problem, in that, after landing, or sometimes when going to taxi, the rudder on the 747 kicks over to the left and i cant get it back! When i do steer with my ch peddles, i have to hold them to the complete opposite for a straight line!It happened too jsut now when i landed in Heathrow, touched down then the rudder went beserk!Any ideas?I have registered 3.51 FSUIPC if that helpsThanksDoug

As I indicated in an earlier post today, I just installed the Queen off the brand newly released Aerosoft CD-ROM. All looks good on the ground. In the air is different!Just to test the Queen superficially, I have done several hand fly departures using the FD and A/T and used FLCH mode by hand and with the MCP CMD engaged. The departures and initial climbouts all work fine and behavior is normal. But, engaging CMD and FLCH after that, wow!, very different....I have found that using the MCP CMD + FLCH has resulted in busting MCP set SPD and MCP ALT severely (by several thousand feet, I mean) with little no correction, or very late correction. I am surprised at this and…

I could not find previous posts useful..... First off I run the latest version for the 744: V1.1 and on short flights for example with often times full tanks I get keep getting an "Insufficient Fuel" warning on the FMC. Can anyone help?Regards,B. Glass

Last night I installed the Queen off the new Aerosoft CD-ROM and all went well. I flew successfully by hand too. Hooray !But this morning, after loading the PMDG 737 NG series and then directly after that loading the Queen on FS9, engines 3 and 4 were totally dead on loading a warm and lighted cockpit. I closed FS9 and rebooted it. Then engine No. 2 was dead with no power and no hydraulics, with multiple EICAS advisories on No. 2. So I reloaded the a/c--same thing. Am I doing something wrong? I am having some problems with the 737 and 747. With the 737 I can't get a/t to stay on it goes on then switches off and some pink text in a button below flashes and I can't tell what that text says or what it means. For the 747 I put everything into the FMC and I tried pressing the LNAV button and the LNAV button switched on then switched off. I don't know what that means or how I could correct it.
