Just bought the 737NG 600/700 PMDG.After installaton, the FS2004 gives following error at start-up:"FSUIPC has a problem! The version of FS2004 detected is not compatible with this version of FSUIPC !It is build 9.01.40906You need the correct version of FS2004"FS2004 has been installed and the Microsoft Update to 9.01 of FS2004.Is there any update for the PMDG 737 NG 600/700 that runs afterwards with FS2004 - version 9.01, or should I downgrade to Fs2004 - version 9.0Thnaks to reply on mail: [email protected]

Hi all,Is V1 in all cases the speed at or above which a TO has to be continued? I'm just imagining a nearly empty 747 on a long long runway. Because of the low payload V1 will be lower & reached pretty quick & thus there could be still a lot of usable runway available to stop(correct?). Or is runway length allways incorporated in the calculation and for the same payload V1 would be greater on a longer runway?Greets,Jeroen

Hi Guys, Does anyone out there have a decent method of planning the step climbs in the 747? I know there are tables in the manual, but it's all a bit hit and miss, given that the table on page 2-9 doesn't take into account the fuel required to climb, nor does it really help you if you want to do an ICAO climb (i.e. not 1000 feet at a time). There must be more accurate tables out there. I'm trying to build a decent excel fuel planner, but this is the biggest problem I've had. Any help appreciated! Tom PS - I know I can just type it all into the FMC and wait to see what comes out, but that's not what happens in the real world, when your flight plan is filed well in advanc…

Hi, PMDGI am thinking of purchasing the B1900.If I do go ahead, do you have to install this before the B737 and B747 as you do have to install the B737 before the Queen or is this a completely separate install. ( if you get what i mean ) :-hmmmCheersStephen Ellis

Hi,Since a few months I am spending more and more time behind my computer.Little by little I am also understanding how everything works with the 737-700.Everything is going perfect until I start my descend (whatever the destination is).Sounds fades away,2-3 seconds black screen and then computer returns to desktop....flight finished and you have to start all over again. Can you help me finding out what is going wrong every time?Thank you in advance,Serge

Am I correct in assuming that one cannot make a GPS Instrument Approach Procedure landing in the PMDG 737 NG aircraft? Can a GPS be added in the PMDG 737 NG aircraft that will relate to the autopilot for such an approach and landing?Regards

Hi,Does anyone know in which file the 747 load manager is saving the values for payload, fuel, etc..?I have many flight plans created and the only variable I need to enter for proper fuel calculation is the current plane payload. If I run the Load Manager trying to remember the last value I used, it is always blank, so no use for me and I have to set up new weights when I only want to check the current payloadThanksScott

I'm experiencing some really strange throttle problems with the PMDG 737-800. Today, while enroute from MCT to DXB, the plane jumped from 280 KIAS to 700+ KIAS in a split second and crashed from overstress. When I reloaded the flight and had the same thing happen, I started the flight over, only to have the plane jump into the 700+ KIAS range as soon as I engaged TA/GA mode. At this point, I restarted the computer, set up a new flight, and this time, the thrust reversers engaged and sent the plane in backwards circles at very high speed (didn't notice the airspeed indicator). I've never had a problem with any of my PMDG 737s before, so I'm hoping someone here can shed som…

Today was an awesome day for me. My dad works at KORD, and mainly services a certain international airline. Well today, he took me to work and into the 747-400. When i got there, the maintanence guys where working but let me into the captains seat, they had plenty of time because the flight came in early. It was amazing! First thing i did was look around then ask the guy if i could play with the FMC. And he let me and was suprised that i knew how to work it. the FMC pages where right on with the PMDG 744, and the EICAS pages. Then i told him my preflight procedure and was very close, i just forgot a few things because normaly i use the procedures from the AOM. I also swit…

Hi,Just watching the engine start and I noticed that; When the EGT rises (after fuel is introduced) but no Fuel Flow (FF) is indicated, but after starter cut-out the FF finally jumps to 0.9The VIB indication increases to 1.8 but then jumps down to 0.9 instantly after the N1 has stopped increasing.I have observed the same for both Auto and Manual Start. Is this correct RL behaviour?Cheers,Paul

I just finished watching the ITVV dvd of the Martinair MD-11, and I must say that I'm impressed. I never knew that it was such an advanced airplane, I would recommend this dvd to anyone interested in the MD-11 for sure...now I'm really looking forward to the MD-11.How does it compare to other planes with regards to the level of automization and such?-Mikkel

Hey all. Did do a search but nothing helped to much that I could find. A few days ago I wanted to fly the 737NG after a while. This was after I updated my 1900D to the new version. I tried to load the 737 and it would crash my flight sim. So I thought something might have gotten messed up. So I used the tool and uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. I was flying today and was getting some weird autopilot problems. I programed the FMC and everything. But when when I would hit VNAV the plane shot up the 50 degrees pitch up. When I got it under controll and climbed to a cruise flight level of 29,000 about halfway through the autopilot would switch altitude hold off and climb …

Dear Robert,Unfortunately, I am experiencing the CTD problem aswell, since updating to Version 1.1. I have followed the forum for quite a while now and I was wondering, if PMDG is still investigating the CTD matter, although it obviously affects only the minority according to an initial statement from your side. From what I understand, PMDG is not necessarily focusing on the 747 package itself but maybe a combination of all add on's and the 747 package. But, after reading this statement from you ...'In ALL CIRCUMSTANCES we have found that users have an unending stream of junk installed with FS- and that this triggers CTDs when using higher hend simulations that tax the ca…

I can't seem to make my own flight plans in the FMC, OK, I enter KJFK into the DEP (route) field, and it gives me an error. I don't know what to do, so I clear the message and enter KORD into the ARR field, I get another error. This does not happen in the 747 at all. It the pmdg 737 designed to be erronious? How do you create flightplans that will work with the PMDG 747? Whenever I use the FS2004 flight planner, the 747's FMC doesn't recognise the flightplan and therefore I can't have a realistic flight.I have FS Build v2.2 if that helps. Thanks a lot in advance for any assistance!

Well, I had a look at the upcoming 747 400F, and it will have an optional more "modern" panel. Since the 737 NG also modernised the panel in the same way in real life like in this shot-> http://www.airliners.net/open.file/754532/L/and removed the eyebrows-> http://www.airliners.net/open.file/830046/L/Is there even a remote possibility of modeling the newer panel and no eyebrows as a sort of "update"??
