Hi folks... i`m need some help, may be anybody know issue for my problem..So very simple, I CAN`T CHANGE TRIM SETTING WHEN AIRCRAFT TAKEOFF AND CLIMBING!!!I`m prepeare fligh as wrote in many manuals for that craft. In the pre-takeoff preparation i`m tirm stab at 4 - 6 units. All normal, i`m use numlock key 1 and 7 and that works fine!But when i`m take off, gear up and climbing, i`m cant change trim settings anyways. The white bars in pedestal move slightly and jump at position was been before trimming. Of course at that stabilizer position i can`t continied my flight.First i`m think what that trouble at my joy Saitek X45, but at other crafts i`m never have that or some an…

Dear Captains,I have never been able to get a Trim result from the FMC higher than 6.0 no matter what load I use. In the ITVV Virgin 744 video they use a takeoff trim of almost 8! Is this a mistake of the aircraft or am I doing something wrong?

Hello 747 captains;I hope this question is not answered yet, anyway I could not find an answer.Sometimes I tune VORs on the Navradio page of the FMC manually. The appearence then cahnges to 113.60M. How can I get the Navradio mode back to "automatic" ? Does anybody know ?

I am still hand flying the Queen and have yet to do a full FMC flightplan flight. But it's coming along well and I have started saving flights using the standard MSFS save flight procedure. Flights are saved effortlessly, but when I click to open a saved flight that had an MCP fully set with CMD on and FMC set (e.g. perf init, approach, etc.) I find that although the autopilot re-connects normally after 1-2 secs, usually the SPD on the MCP remains disconnected whereas it was saved with SPD clicked on, and also the HDG might be disconnected too. I also find that a previously hand inserted ILS into the FMC NavRad page is incorrect and the correct freq and front CRS need…

I'll post this on these forums too. If anyone has input it would be greatly appreciated.Whenever I use the B-W Designs KLM 747-400 NC when it is dark and I change to SPOT view, my computer crashes and I get the FS9 error message. Anyone know why things like that usaully happen? Anton V.

I need help here guys. I purchased both the PMDG 747 and 737 at the same time last year but i have flown the 747 exclusively since i got the two airplanes. I finally got a little tired of flying the Queen and two days ago, i decided to get into the 737. I cannot for the life of me start the thing. I have read the manual (Normal procedures) and cannot find anything on starting the airplane in any other parts of the manual. I cannot figure it out. I have started the APU and opened the engine bleed valve and all the pumps (Fuel and Hydraulic). The engine starts but fades away - will not kick into full start.What am i doing wrong? Can someone please tell me how to use IGFLY's Walk and Follow in plain English?! Their manual just doesn't make sense. I know that I should be able to save views for individual aircraft, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this. Anyone??? PS: Forgive me if this has been asked earlier.

When using FDC 3.x and PMDG's 747-400 I notice that some features of FDC do not function. Flap settings are not being done by FDC's VCP and also setting autobrakes and spoilers are omitted.Are there any other users of the PMDG -400/FDC combination experiencing the same? Thanks,Hans

ok so I ws experimenting with setting up diversions after severe malfunctions. I had a torrid time wrestling with the FMC in order to insert another destination.Could not remove the original Depart/Arrive data. and replace it with an alternative.No problem with a DCT to command, but I couldn't set up ILS freqs or RW data. Tried route 2 but no joy there. Can someone give me the definative procedure for setting a diversion up on the FMC.David Miles

When on a long flight in the 747-400 I sometimes leave the computer and return some while later.Sometimes VNAV is no longer operating and the plane has descended way below cruise altitude.What could be the reasons for this happening?Cliff

FSX just being anounced has gotten everyone very excited. MD11 would have to get a riggle on before this excitement increases with FSX's development. Although release date still may be sometime down the track, the announcement of a new product has the tendency to render current technology redundant in a blink of an eye. Furthermore I suspect MD11 wouldn't be released till sometime down the track as well. CheersTristan

Is that true PMDG? That really caught my eye as I can't wait for the MD-11.Jared

I am currently working on a fictional repaint for the Queen.As you can see on the accompanying picture,I want to make the livery so that when looking at the aircraft from the top,the moon/sun face will appear(left side has half the face and right side the other half).The only problem the way I made it,is that when you put the texture on the aircraft,a big part of the face,both on the right and left part of the fuselage is lost.I know that I should move the sun a bit lower,but exactly how much lower?It takes too long to move it,cut it into segments,paste it into the cut template,convert it etc etc...The picture I include is an actual screenshot from the psd file in progres…

I'm having a problem with my PMDG 747 and my Elite throttle quadrant. The flap switch on the quadrant won't work with my 747, but it works fine with my other PMDG planes. The gear switch still works as well as the throttles but I can't figure out why the flap switch won't. Any ideas?

I was wondering about how you activate the reverse thrusters in the 600-700 package. I cannot find in the settings where you can map this to a j/s, nor does the Throttle screen show how to do this. Also, I cannot find the landing light switch, or the TOGA switch (I checked the overhead and didnt see them there. I also have a question about the FMC. I was on vatsim last night for my first full flight. Problem was after take off, the ATC directed me to fly direct to my second waypoint that was programed into the FMC. Thanks a lot to the PMDG team for having solved the issues with the Update 1.1 - it now works flawlessly!However, I also experied the crackling sound issue on my last PMDG 744 flight: VEEEEEEEEEEEEERY loud, and after that the ATC voices were broken. I could still hear them, but they sounded as if someone had cut the vocal chords of those guys.On my next flight - not with a PMDG plane - the ATC voices were replaced by a stuttering sound. The only way I could tell it was ATC was because I saw the text window. No more voices.What can I do to restore ATC voices as they should be?
