Just want to decide whether I have a chance of running them smoothly.Based on my specs in the signature how do the following current FS performance factors weigh up?Running Flight Environment with 3 cloud layers, Ultimate Traffic at 80%, Radar Contact 4.Most sliders set towards the right, resolution of 1600X1900X32, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering handled by my graphics card.744VC - 11-15FPS on the ground, 20FPS in the air at the stock enhanced airports. i bought and downloaded the 74F this morning and am more than happy with it. The only thing that i find disturbing is, that my nose and undercarriage wheel is not turning anylonger.I can steer the aircraft and all other animations are working flawlessly, but the forementioned wheels are not going in any direction.Is it just me, or are there others experiencing the same?Best regards and thanks in advanceHolger

Hi everyone, just wondering when the normal downloads will be restored as I've had to re-install Windows abd load back on all my software. Anywhere as a result I need the updates for the 737 -600/700,-800/900 and the two Beaches so it would be cool to know when the normal downloads will be back up. Thanks, Paul.

I want to change the callsign and registration of the Singapore 400F (Singcargo and a 9V-registration). Are there any restrictions on how I can do that? Via the aircraft menu in FS9 or direct in the aircraft.cfg? Reason that I ask is that I lost several times my validation on the PAX and I suspect that this had to do with manually installing liveries and changing the aircraft.cfgRob

Hello everybody.This is a paint made from Polar White of PMDG, signs taken from exellent paint of www.vdhk.org Dragonair Boeing 747-400SF paint available at Avsim and tail textures taken mostly from Yarden Ben-Dor PMDG exellent ELAL package.Paint made for fun only due to various copyrights not allowing me to share it.When paintkit will be released hope to surprise you with some nice paints of 74F that i will be able to share. :-)Comments are highly welcome.

I just made a short testflight including the three different holdings - direct, parallel, teardrop - and it was really awesome!!! With great precision and absolutely correct. It is a pure pleasure to fly this aircraft. Many thanks to the whole team of PMDG!!!

i noticed poor frame rate in 2d view. variation of 13% all time without vc.did u fix that?

All,I started experiencing strange issues with the 747. When I engaged auto pilot, the aircraft would roll onto it's back and head toward the ground. Sometimes it would porpose during flight, anywhere between +900ft and -800ft from the indicated altitude.At first I thought that maybe I had just had a bad install, so I re-installed. Still no joy. By chance this evening I ran fs without starting AS and lo and behold, everything worked like a charm. To verify this I started AS and the issue reappeared. Has anyone else experineced any issues with AS6 and the 747?Brad

Whatever Lefteris did with the VC definitley did the trick. In version 1.00 I was only seeing 8 FPS no matter what I did. With the new ISFD Im getting between 15-18 on the ground depending on the airport Im at and a solid 23+ (Locked at 28) all the time in the air which is a definite improvment. Thanks for the quick fix; just goes to show why yall are the best once again.

Hi,Another fantastic job done by you guys with the 400F. The PMDG747 series are my favorite aircraft addon.Two issues:1. I seem to have a problem with the Cargolux (RR Old) Livery in the download section. I have installed this livery, but I still only get the Cargolux (RR New) in the RR section of the FS aircraft menu. The cargolux (RR Old) livery does not appear in that menu. Anyone who has the same problem or might know what's wrong?2. On the left side of the panel in the VC, there are a "watch". I have understood that this "watch" is used for counting the amount of time the aircraft is airborne. How do you operate this "watch"? I don't seem to be able to have it work p…

Hi guys,I left the flightdeck unattented for a while and when I came back there was a major fuel imbalance (tank 1&4 11.2 t tank 2&3 0.8 t). I missed an EICAS message "Fuel imbalance" however.Is this programmed in the PMDG fuel logic? regardsTon

Hi everybody,Just one question about that amazing extension of the 747-400 :The new LCD displays which are specific to the 400F do not display the correct new graphics. They display the "old style" graphics of the CRT display, and no possibility to change that config in the PMDG menu. If anyone has an idea of that...Thank you so much for that so great product

Hi guys,I suspect this is more-or-less a known factor now but just thought I'd confirm.I had done a test flight with the 744F and like many, my FPS count and fluidity was poor.I commented out the ISFD gauge in the VC and flew a flight from WSSS-VHHH last night. With RC4 running, Ultimate traffic at 100% and the freeware VHHH scenery in play, my frames were amazing, better than the PX would be in the same situation. AND I had the gauge refresh rate up to about 18 for the VC!It never dipped once below 20 where previously I was getting 15-16 on a good day in the PAX. Finally the time has come that I have some spare change and I am considering getting the 744.I have the full 736-9 series and am very happy with it. What kind of performance would I get flying the 747 in 2d panel compared to flying the 737 in 2d panel ?Yes, I know I am comparing apples and oranges. But for those of you that have all sliders to the max what kind of FPS do you get with the default FS9 flight at KSEA when you start with the 737 and the 747 ? 2D panel results only if you don't mind folks. VCs are still frame-rate killers :-)Please state whether you have the default KSEA or the FT version.Thanks for any input.Private messages are also welcome.

Good day all. So I have been doing nothing but flying the 747 Cargo plane (my homework for college is really getting in the way of more flying ;) ) and I absolutely LOVE it. It is my favorite PMDG airplane by far, with the 737NG(-800) being second. So, what is your favorite?

Hi Can anyone tell me what the possible reasons are for a VNAV disconnect on the 737. I can find LNAV reasons in the manuals but not for VNAV. I am finding this problem if I disconect to go to V/S or LVL CHG and then wan to go back to VNAV after, if that helps ?MTIASteve
