Hi PMDG,Not really important suggestion, but I kinda feel that since PMDG has more than 1 product, I think PMDG forum should be more organised, so under PMDG Forum there will be a sub forum for 737, 747 and etc, I think that it would be more easier for users to navigate and look for topics on certain product better.Just my 2 cents.Thank You PMDG for your excellent 747-400 and the freighter ones, I realised I've become lazy for study and work lol, I'm kinda addicted to it :DBest Regards,Jonathan

Just a question out of curiosity. On the 747,At night with panel lights on. If the landing lights are on, the panel and overhead lights dim. When landing lights are turned off, the panel lights brighten. Is this normal?

Hi, I have seen so many post telling that since they have owned the F's, they don't fly the PAX no more. beacuse the F's is much better than PAX.is that true? What big difference in term of the aircrafts that make the F's are more completed version than PAX's? so should we all must upgrade to F's. However, if that PAX verison is also updated, why you people seems still find the F's is better? thanks

Good day all. Whenever the panel lights come on or off during mid-flight, FS always crashes. If I start my flight at night (turn on the panel lights at the gate) it does not crash; only when the lights come on and off during the flight.

HiApart from poor FPS on the 400F I'm trying to takeoff and follow a plan entered in the FMC which I have done 100's of times. I have a heavy aircraft, ZFW:286257Kgs short flight with 22000Kgs of fuel, all up around 306.4 tonnes. I get takeoff thrust and V1 and VR speeds OK, rotate and attempt to climb out and whatever mode I select with the AP engaged it does not function. Select VNav and it tries to climb at 5000FPM resulting in speed fall of almost to stall. Engage LNav it starts to make the turn to a WP but goes anywhere and just keeps turning. I appears that although AP and A/TH are engaged, they are not working. Even with VP selected with AP on the aircraft do…

Hi all,I've chosen to fly on FL310....it was a very long flight.The optimum alt was on FL310 and the MAX was about FL360.but the Queen stopped to climb at FL280 !! or you can say it climbing in hard way (10ft/m) untilit stopped climbing completely at about 28050 ft.the questions:- WHY did it stop climbing? .. it's not the 1st time it being like that .... I never be able climb to FL350 ! why?- Are there any procedures to solve that ?- Is it depends on pressurization ?RegardsAbraham

Guys,Don't you remember the stories of 2004 when US authorities diverted almost every third BA747/777 flying to US?If you remember, BA pilots have been given an alternative to land at any US airport (usually BGR or MHT) to proceed additional security check. Every time BA pilots choosen to go back to EGLL.So my question is - how much fuel 747 usually have on departure from EGLL, if they're able to return to Heathrow without refueling while diverted in Canada aerospace?

Great job on the F version as usual guys. Only thing I see is that as a couple of others have posted, the framerates in the VC of the F version are about half or less of the passenger version. I don't usually even look at frame rates because my new system simply doesn't move from the locked setting (25). With the F version, I noticed that in the VC all the scenery outside the window looked like a slide show. Checked framerates and they were 8-11. With the passenger version (after update to F version) the rates stay at the locked 25. I hate to say this PMDG but the upgraded 400F still has major stuttering problems on my machine in the VC. I use a utility call FS Autostart to shut down all programs not needed when running FS. So I know there's nothing running in the background. When in the VC panning causes major stuttering. Even if I keep the eye point in on position the sim pauses slightly every few seconds as if it's constantly loading something. I've crossed checked this with other add-ons I have even the PMDG 744Pax and the 744F is the only aircraft displaying this behavior.How do I check to make sure I have the latest version of the 400F installed??? I know that various sources like flightaware.com have such data, but it only includes info about routes inbound/outbound US. The same european or asian sources do not exist. Hopping across the pond this evening at FL330 with the 400F and a tailwind of 50kts, the IAS dropped to around 238kt/0.64M, eventhough my programmed cruise speed on the CDU was 0.846. This resulted in the shaker going off warning of low speed. I have not had any unrealistic effects with head or cross winds during cruise.Am I missing something?Luis KMIA

I am a user of FSPassengers, and have created a payload model for the 744F. Now, I ran into a problem with the payload manager. Anytime I use it to update fuel, it deletes stations from the aircraft.cfg file. Is there any way to update the load manager that it would leave those blank default stations in? Otherwise, I would already upload the model onto FSPs website.Cheers
