Good afternoonDoes everybody had a similor problem like me in WSSS, Rwy02L? After a perfect AUTOLAND (Land03) announced me a crash during rollout and after callout 80 knots. It was not a problem of the landing weight (550'000 lbs). The second time without a problem. Whats going wrong during the first rollout?Thanks a lot!best regardsMarcel

Hey GuysI really hope someone can help me out with this.My flight instructor taught me to land a Cessna by controlling speed with pitch and rate of decent with power... I'm confused, does the same principle work with the 747?I've been performing touch and go's for the past couple of days in the 400F and I cannot consistently perform a good touchdown.I either hit the runway too fast or float a few thousand feet down the runway. I find with flaps 30 the plane is very unresponsive.Also my speed and rate of decent are all over the place during the approach - any tips on controlling it would help.TED320

I have noticed a fast clicking sound when using my 747 queen of the skies. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling my 737ng 600 through to 900 packages, then my 747, all in the correct order, but it still persists. I read the post by aadaniels concerning his strange sound using the 747 during flight, this sound seems to be different. I can hear it better when the engines are shut down & also on my end flight screen. My 737s are ok.

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who could do a good Singapore Airlines B747-400 livery in DXT3 format? This is due to the fact that I am running on a notebook here and do not have the power to run all the 32 bits high detail repaints that are out there. After installing 747F latest version and using 2D panel I can not see the virtual cockpit, no left window frame, no cockpit environment - although this option is enabled in the PMDG menue MODEL/SHOW VIRTUAL COCKPIT. So I have to do this adjustment again every first time using the 747.

Sorry, for ask this again. people are really looking forward to update the sound for their PAX as well. maybe they just don't want to fly cargo's, so please update the sound and let some of us enjoy the pax. thanks.

I've assigned ctrl+tab+n to the nose and ctrl+tab+s to the side door and they don't work. I've tried various combinations but none work. I'm viewing from the spot view. I'm not using the vc. Do I have to have the vc working to see it even from spot view? I can get the side loaders to work I have tab+c for all the cargo doors and the latter for the crew. I just can't get the nose nor side doors to open. What combo's are any of you using.

I am flight sim fanatic. Since the QOTS, I've been even more of a fanatic. Flying 747's in virtual world since 1997 I only can say that PMDG 747-400 it's an amazing aircraft. As always the PMDG team put an incredible amount of work and why not?love into this plane. I learn to appreciate PMDG planes since FLY II days. A big thank you! I was thinking if will be possible in futures updates(patches) to make differents operators aircrafts voice systems calls out for example: British Airways 2,500ft call out is "radio altimeter" and not " two thousand, five hundred". I have a bad tendancy to look in the wrong places or the answers to my problem so it may be covered in the manuel. Anyway, I recently bought the 737 NG. I flew a short flight from Honolulu to Hilo and back. Next I tried a flight from Honolulu to Oakland and the aircraft continued to drift south, even when I flew back to Honolulu. I was using the VNAV and the path displayed properly on the Nav Display but the aircraft continued to drift south. I used to use the PM software; and thought I would give the PMDG a try. Bought the 600/700 NG, and I am having nothing but difficluties. I am looking for a step; by step tutorial, because I have been at this for about 10 hours now, and I am not sure I even have the FMC right..... I have no idea how to calc a cost index, or even if I need to. I am getting route dicontinites all over the place, and cant clear them; LNAV does not follow the route in the FMC, and under no circmustnces can I get the autothrottle to arm..........can somebody help me ?Rick

Hi guys, In my constanst search to improve realism I've been looking for a while now for a site which might give me actual parking spots and gates for the real airline operations. I'd at least like to know which concourse to taxi to or to begin the flight out of. Hi Guys,Say I just noticed that the speed indicator bug on the 744F gets real erratic just as the a/c approaches the t/d. By erratic I mean it jumps up and down between 330 and 290 KIAS. After a few seconds it becomes stable. This isn't a big deal...mainly a cosmetic issue. Just thought I would post to see if other users are experiencing the problem.Thanks in advance,Gaylord Berry

I have the following problem while installing the 747-400:During the validation process I keep getting the message that my "information cannot be validated".I tried several solutions discussed in this forum (firewall, changing password) but nothing seems to help.I triple-checked my email, order ID and my passI allready contacted pmdg support (and i'm sure they will answer in the next couple of days; I had two quick answers on 2 emails I sent; so no complaining about their support).The only thing is: I'd like to fly this beast as soon as possible (ordered the cargo version as well and really looking forward to that one!!).So maybe any of you guys/girls have any other sugge…
