    Goodafternoon fellow simmers,First place, I want to thank Gustav (Mahler?? :)) for all his efforts to get me the "Timothy Metzinger tutorial" Unfortunately my mailbox can not cope with 20MB.After trying several approaches on a certain runway,(e.g. EBBR, LFPG, LFMN etc) it is not possible for (me) the plane (B733) to capture localiser and after to capture g/s, even when ILS settings are o.k! I know how to fly an approache. (former PS-pilot) Is there, atleast one tutorial that dicribes, or a pilot wo can tell me how to fly a boeing 737 after TOD???Well, anyway thanks in advance, nice easter-days for everyone and happy landings (?)Regards Freek-EHAM

    Hi!After having re-installed my whole system, today I re-installed FS2004. I also installed the 744 and 744F, and here the problems start...When I start FS2004 it stops loading right after displaying the loading picture. CPU Usage from the 'fs9.exe' process remains steadily at 100%. So I tried a few things and found that as soon as I take PMDGOptions.dll out of the Modules folder FS2004 starts without any problems. As soon as I put it in again, same error...I checked the forum and found no one had a similar error before.     HiI am having real trouble, and I am quite sure it is because I am a dumb #### rather than there being a problems with the PDMG 747!I plan my flight using the flight planner, and then set up the FMC with all the data that is required - the only thing I cannot set is the gate number.I taxi, and then using TOGA take off. I then switch to LNAV and VNAM and sit back and wait. But although LNAV seems to work OK the plane does not fly to the altitudes or speeds set in the FMC. Before take off the speed strip displays NO VSPD in yellow, but all of the speeds have been set in the FMC. During flight the altituse swings wildly, but with an upward trend.     DO you people use DX3 or 32 bit texture. See any difference at all, and what about the perfomance?I had the DX3 installed, however, I want to try the 32 bit to same aircraft, do I just run the installer again, and choose the 32 bit, it will replace over the DX3 format? or I need to uninstll the DX3 texture first, then apply the 32 bit? Thanks.

    Hi, I just purchased the PMDG 744F, and I have assigned all the different cargo doors keyboard commands eg. ctrl+NUM1, ctrl+NUM2, ctrl+NUM3, and so on, but for some reason, only ctrl+NUM3 and ctrl+NUM4 works.. does anyone know what is wrong? It means that I can only attach some stairs to the 744 and the tail jack stand.Is this because the rest of the commands are already in use or what?

Hi everyoneWith the PMDG 747-400F now rolled out and the MD-11 nearing completion, obviously the first question to pop into everyone's minds is, "what will be the next aircraft to come from the PMDG hangar?".So, I'd like to offer this suggestion. Since PMDG has recreated Boeing aircraft so accurately, I'd like to have a Boeing 717-200 to fly around. To my knowledge, no other payware aircraft designer is developing this aircraft and I'm sure it would be quite popular among us virtual Captains.What do you all think of this suggestion?     Hello,Since i have the 744F i sometimes have a strange problem with my flaps. Sometimes the flaps are stuck to 1 and i can't get them to 15 or 20 for TO. When i managed to have them @ 20 and that i put full thrust flaps come back to 1 not 0 but 1, i don't know why. Generaly i load the cesna put everything off and then load the F. When i put the battery on on the F flaps are @ 1 (but they were @ 0 on the cesna). It is quite strange and i don't know why it is happening.does someone already had this experience.Thank you for your help and sorry for my poor englishRegardNicolas

    Hello all,I always wanted to ask this question. I believe that in real world, B738W (w/Winglets) has longer range than B738. (Correct me if I am wrong).   22. Hi, I started up my B737-700 that I've been happily flying for the last couple of months and today found I couldn't retune any frequencies on the radio stack. I flew anyway and found that after a while the radio stack was ok. Then I was just turning onto the localizer and I lost the ILS signal - the radio stack had stopped working again.Has anyone come across this problem?ThanksGeoff

    Hey gents,don' tpost often as I have had very few problems with my Queen. But on this leg I had 2 CTD's. One during cockpit prep and one during TOD.I used a FedEx 744F to fly from KSEA to LOWW (Seattle to Vienna). Both are Flytampa sceneries. After loading was almost complete and all data was inserted, it was a matter of waiting for all the doors to close and pushback. To make it easy I displayed the doors synoptic on my ND.
