Hello all,I have been flying the PMDG 737-800/900 for a while now andlove it.The problem I am having is a memory error which has justrecently come on after I select a flight. MSFS opens and the menu screen does appear. The PMDG is also loading all the airport information data base.Then when I have selected a flight and hit "fly now" the systemcrashes and I get a message. It might not even have anything do do with the PMDG, but if someone could let me know I would appreciateit. The message reads " The instruction at "0x016214ca" referencedmemory at "0x016214ca" The memory could not be wrtiien"If any one could please let me know what this is I would appreciate it very much …

Hoping someone can help me with my problem. I'm not getting any of the door animations to show up either on Queen Of the Skies or on the cargo version. When I originally purchased QOTS I could see them but ever since I installed the V1.1 update I have been unable to see them. I'm sure it's something I'm doing (or not doing) and would like someone to tell me which boneheaded mistake I have made.

G'Day allInstalled The B747-400 Freighter, the first thing I did was check the sounds.... thought everything was fine. Done a few "test flights", all was great.I just loaded up the B747-400F (GE Version) and completed the take off, and as I was climbing through FL220, it came back, the same sound crackle that caused me a lot of frustration. Anyone else have this problem? What could I do about it?

Hi PMDGs,your Engravity 747-400 CDU Hardware in the shop is nice. Anyway the real "necessary" thing would be a hardware MCP, cause during take-off and landing the inputs via MCP must be taken quickly.The CDU is not the eye of a needle, it's the MCP.Did you made any endeavor to "motivate" some of your hardware-partners to build some affordable MCPs? I reckon there is a 744-market out there ;-)regards,Volker

Hi,shouldnt the horizontal stabilizer move up and down while trimming the aircraft up and down(i mean the fix part,not the rear part thats moving when using the yoke up and down),as it does on the real aircraft.on mine it just stays centered,what ever trim I or the autopilot sets.I have seen the stabilizer moving on the real plane,and on other sim models too,so why not on this great model.Am i missing something here,or is there something wrong with my fs/747Many thanksYogen

HI GuysWhen I finish flying any model of the 737 and I exit the flight, It calls up the logbook. What happens is a notice comes up and tells me that I am trying to make an entry into logbook #$*&%@. I created a new logbook and at the second entry the same thing happened.When I am in the flight mode and call up the logbook the name is all gooble de gook letters. Anyone out there recognize the problem?apache290vg

How does this work?I can only arm the autospoiler by clicking on it. The asigned key for arming (shift+/) fully deploys it, as does /The spoilers do not automatically deploy on landing even tho I have throttles to idle (F1) and the relevent armed light is on.I have tried the range of 737 (600 thru 900). Bit fed up with having to manually do this everytime as that is totally unrealistic!Alan

Hey guys,For some reason I can't get the 744 & 744F load manager to open. I can get the 737NG manager to open but not the rest... I tried to open it directly throught the exe, but nothing.Feedback is appreciated.

Hi all new to forum I have two questions to ask1. decent rates; when using fs9 atc the decent rates are about 1800fpm, with the 737 I build up to much speed and on final I am either to fast or to high. The flight manule says not to use flaps to slow the aircraft on decent. can you change fs9 decent rates? or is it ok to use some flaps on decent.(I wonder how real pilots handle high decent rates)2.there two voices you here in the cockpit, one is the computer generated alltitude warnings,(like when you land) that one is loud and clear. Hi all in the forum.I usually fly online, mainly in Europe, but today i ventured out and completed my first oceanic flight with Vatsim, from Keflavic (BIKF) to EGSS. I noticed that there was a flyin going on from east to west with loads of participants, thats why i decided to fly west to east so i could do the flight but not get caught up with something i am not ready for yet.I learned how to report my position properly by listening in to the other pilots and ATC and had a brilliant flight. Hi all,There's one thing that is frustrating to me. When I use VNAV as my veritcal profile, the 747-400s rate of climb is from 3500fpm to 4500fpm, and this is way too hight. It should climb from 1500fpm to 2500fpm, an average of about 2000fpm. Has anyone experienced this and what is causing it? It's like it's trying to hurry and get to it's cruising altitude. Does the position of the T/C have anything to do with this? I use the flight plan from Routefinder.com. I've tried this at different gross weights and the climb rate is still way too high. Ken.

I've built a flightplan KJFK-KIAD in the 744 FMC and all works great from start to finish. Only problem is that the depature ex rwy 31L is not displayed as a straight magenta line in the ND. My first wp is ff13R and after setting up the flight for departure, the ND shows the magenta fp line offset to the right of 31L, sort of next to rwy 31L on the ND. I've tried re-entering and re-executing the departure rwy 2-3 times, but it never straightens up the magenta line and the magenta route line never "joins" the parallel white rwy symbol in the ND.It's not a big deal, but I just wondered if this is a glitch or if I am doing something wrong?Appreciate any posts, thanks!Jona…

Looking at the 744F ABL (Air force) the upper beacon light position is wrong. There is a radar mount that is on top of the beacon position.Here is a temp fix....light.2 = 1, -40.156, (default 744f position)light.2 = 1, -31.000, (correct position for 744F ABL)If you are flying the 744F ABLJust replace the -40.156 with the -31.000 on the aircraft file under strobe lights parameter. Make a copy of that parameter and edit the number and make a comment /// line when flying the ABL or Cargo accordingly.Thanks,Kin M.(KLAX)

Departure from the 5440ft MSL field results in a cabin altitude over 10,000 at cruise. I've looked throught the history of this forum, variations of this topic have come up before but I'm left wondering if this is just a "accepted" limitation of the simulation. I've been flying the 737-700 for a couple of months now on SWA routes and finally starting visiting KSLC and KDEN when I noticed this glitch. I have been really wanting to get a hi-def 727, I really love the lines of this little tri-tail. I have noticed that Captain Sim has one and DreamFleet just released theirs, trying to decide which one to get. I am only wanting serious comments, but is there someone out there that has either of these products? If so I would love to know what you think. I know this is a PMDG forum, but since we know what the best is like (737NG,747QotS) you know how they should stack up. I would love to see PMDG make a 727, but I feel it is way old school with no FMC and so chances are PMDG wants something modern built in THIS century.

Gidday guys after much trial an error an also scrolling these forums for hours i cannot seem to find a solution to my problems..I cannot get the L NAV to track my flight plan..After reading these forums an finding out how to load my route properly into the FMC i thought i was set to go..I take off track runway heading than i hit L-NAV an V-NAV the V-NAV is doing its job but the L-NAV fly's the runway heading..
