Having difficulty exporting a flightplan from FS Nav to PMDG 737-800-900 NG. The following plan is refused- "Flightplan Export Refused" KSTL.SAJOY.MYERZ.MALDEN.VXY.FLABB.BURLS.SWENK.SHINE.KCLT. I have tried other plans and there is no problem. Can someone please try to export this flight plan in the 737-800-900 and see if it will accept it. I have tried on the FS Nav Forum without a reply. Any suggestions as to why this is happening would be appreciated.:(

The "SID/STAR/IAP Updates Explained" section under the 737NG link really needs to be updated as this one was written in 2002 and the links and explanation are sooooo out of date that they are whacky.I've had problems since the direction given no longer applies nor works. Sure would be nice to see this updated to current methods and a really good (simple step-by-step) tutorial.Thanks for listening;Jim

I never had this problem maybe someone can assist me , I am lined up for runway 01 at FACT the runway in sight but on my FMC the runway are far of to the left. Once landed the runway shows perfect. I have downloaded the newest AIRAC data and reinstalled the sim.Any help will be appreciated.

Hi all,Back in the days of 767 PIC, the plane needed too much thrust to taxi (just like the 744). Matthias Neusinger came up with a taxi mod that fixed the problem. His data inserts into the air file via a program called AirEd. I tried the mod last night and it worked! The inflight engine performance seemed to be the same as usual, just that now, we can taxi at idle...Just one problem though- the plane now taxis too fast at idle. She rapidly accelerates to speeds above 25kt over quite short distances when empty. From the readme, the mod only affects characteristics below 30%N1. This way, flight characteristics are preserved. I think I have changed my FS defualt registry, if I want to install 747 pmdg it says I havent got FS installed. Ok I can changed it but the PMDG 747 installation program doesnt give me the option to choose my path. Directly after validating it tells me FS not installed it doesn`t give me a option to change the installation path.Any ideas please

Hello,I have posted a message ages ago and now I see someone else having the same question. PMDG does not react on it but it is still a problem (bug?).Saving panels or situations with the APU 'on' does not give you an APU 'on' when loading it back again. In other words: when you load the 744 and it doesn't have the engines left on you will ALWAYS have to fire up the APU first.I don't think that PMDG intended the panel saver/loader to use it and then still go around the cockpit to reset all the items that where missed before being back in your 'saved' situation. Include all FMC settings.My questions to PMDG are:a) is it known at PMDG (can't imagen it is not)?:( is this sim…

i dont know if its only me but do any of ya'll notice that the 747-400F does not have the realistic start up sound of the 747? before i could here the engines start up with my queen of the skies package but after installing the sound update, i dont hear the engines start up. i only here them once it is full started up and ready to golyle

Hello - I've been away for three months so please don't flame me.I enjoy the 737 series aircraft and from my limited reading it appeasr these aircraft will not be made complient with FSX. Is this correct??Thank you......Iain

It may be a little early to answer this question as the QOS is not yet ready for FSX but i was wondering if the shared cockpit/aircraft feature will be possible with the 747 QOS and future PMDG aircraft with full functionality available to the 2nd pilot? or possible at all?If so it will certainly enhance the whole experience in its realism,thanksFynn

i reinstalled my pmdg 744 and 737 NG-89 and the pmdg 737 89 is still version 1.0 and also the 744 is still version 1.0 whats wrong why arent the service updates working. the pmdg 744 doesnt dislpay the CRT screens when powering up either. i even used the FLT file from smithplanet.com and still the 744 isnt working. the 737 89 workd fine but it still shows verison 1.0

everytime i attempt to take a flight in the 747-400F, and input the data into the fmc, flight simulator will give me send me a message saying "FS9 has encountered an error and will have to close" it then ends flight simulator and says you can report the problem or leave it. can anyone share some light on this subject? it only happens in the 747-400F and occasionally in the 747-400lyle

Hi, folks...I am begining to fly the Queen and during climb I get a loud noise as I am moving the joystick to follow FD bars...I am sure that is related to pitch trim settings of the aircraft. Before takeoff I have adjusted trim settings to the one showing on FMC Takeoff page...I have been reading PMDG TRC Lessons and discovered that during inicial climb and level flight I am supposed to adjust pitch trim settings. Are we supposed to do it everytime that we flying without AP on? Do real pilots have to do the same adjustments during inicial climb? If so is there a rule to follow or you just try pitch trim buttons till the aircraft is following FD bars or any other desired …

I saw the Polar Freighter in someone's signature and it reminded me of the Polar Tour last year. I really liked that livery and expected it to be released along with the -400F.Is it still somewhere out there and is there a possibility that it could be released for the current -400F?Thanks,Kyle Rodgers

After I installed FSX to the same PC as FS2004 , in my PMDG 737 FMC if I choose a runway for arrival it does not line up with the runwayin the sim .Any ideas plse

Hello, I presume this is a simple question, but I don't know the correct answer.When flying my PMDG-737/700 I normally take off with wing tanks full and a variable amount of fuel in the center tank.The center tank fuel is first burned and when it comes to an end I get I warning light in my panel: "fuel"When that happens I open the overhead panel and just switch off the center tank fuel valves.Is this a correct procedure ?Thanks in advance. Hi im just wondering what normal VS is during climb and decent with passengerson 737 and 747. Often i dont get down in time for the glideslope with using 2500 as VS and following ATC.should i use even higher?

Hello allI have read in the wiki that the defined philosophy for using the AP knobs was:left click=decreasing by 1 (100ft for altitdue)right click=increasing by 1 (100ft for altitude)I am quite disappointed that the philosophy used for the 737NG is not retained:left click=changing by 1 (100ft for altitdue), + or - depending on pinter positionright click=increasing by 10 (1000ft for altitude), + or - depending on pinter positionsince it prooved to be the most adequate flying from the VC and considering the ATC usually vectors with heading changing by 10degrees and altitudes by 1000ft....Too bad.Any possibility to provide the 737NG philosophy as an option?Thank you.Ghiom

Hi, when I open the FMC on my 737, it appears the message 'datalink no comm' on the right corner of POS UNIT. What does that mean?I also noticed that my FMC gives me no ETA as well as fuel to the waypoints. Is this related to this message? Am I doing something wrong while programming my flight? I know...this has been discussed a few times before...But I cant get the Autopilot alive in the 744.I have Ver 1.1 installed.And I DONT have the Freighter installed.Everything workes fine until I try engaging the AP after takeoff.It simply doesnt work.What is this?Please help me!I want to start my 744 Career! ;)Thomas

I downloaded a copy of the 747 Queen of the Skys, which I did not know I had done. I thought the product was going to be posted to my home address, as in disc... Any way it is stuck there on my computer and works fine. Good stuff. But I own a holdiay home and use my FS there. How do I get this product onto my computor there. It is not connected to the internet.Jimmy

In the 2-D panel I press the screw, but what do I do in the VC mode? I have tried pressing the screw and it does not work. Once airborne and autopilot is on I can press vnav and it will go into thrust mode. I have the FMC programed to practice landing at KORD. I take off, engauage the autopilot and then disconnect autopilot at ~1500' to manuel land. Thanks,

It's coming to that time again where the PC will be getting a bit of an upgrade.. But I am wondering how far to go this time.. my current spec is pretty good.. but FSX will kill it when I play it..AMD64 3500..1GB RAMX850 PE ATI 256MBI was not sure which way to go.. Intel.. AMD... I want to wait for the GFX card to get a decent DX10 card.. As for RAM and processor etc.. anyone got any recommendations? I am going to sell this PC complete and offset this from the cost of the next one..Craig

Is it possible to enter a runway in the 747 fmc?I am trying to create my own flightplan, to arrive at the airport and be able to land on auto, but i can not enter the runway into the fmc.If i use a star for the airport, then there is an entry for the runway automatically entered. If I try to reproduce this waypoint in my "home made" flight plan, it says the runway waypoint is not in the database.
