Still trying to assign an axis (V axis) on my CH TQ for the flaps operation and now having this unusual problem:I can set the axis and set all the detents for all 9 flaps settings using FSUIPC, but now the axis works backwards, flaps UP is when the TQ lever is DOWN and DOWN flaps is when the TQ lever is UP. Tried checking the reverse box in FSUIPC, no effect. And I don't have an assignment duplicated in the FS9 assignment section.Any suggestions? Is this a CFG or AIR file issue? Would love to correct this if possible.Jim

Dear PMDG support,I have searched the archives are an answer on this but haven't found one yet, so please bear with me.I have a six monitor set up with three outside views and three panel views.My FPS is around 40 to 50 when only using the outside views, however when I undock the PFD and ND, the performance falls to about 5 FPS. This is with no other 2D panels running.I have noticed that shrinking the PFD to a quarter of the size helps with the performance, however at this size I cannot see the information.There is reference to this problem in the archives but I am unable to find either a workaround or a solution. Whatever I download for PMDG Liveries, some say they have wingview, but it's not the case

HI,I had a great working system with FS9. LIke many others I installed FSX to check it out and discovered the heavy frame hit etc. Tried some tweaks which helped a little but continued to fly PMDG with FS9. Was working great still. For some reason I decided to uninstall FSX off my computer with the plan to upgrade to a new machine in a few months. Now......FS9 seems to work ok but the PMDG is screwy. The initial launch of the airplane where the nav data loads takes forever, frame rates crach . Then once the plane is visible it stabilizes but back in the cokpit when loading a plan it slows and delays again. Clearly very different than before. Any body else see this or have…

I'm sure this is a dumb question to most of you, but... Where the heck is this thing? I've looked through the manual and didn't find it's location... although many references to it. I can use the screw in the 2D cockpit but where on earth is the TO/GA button in the virtual cockpit.

i was flying from EGLL to KSFO and for some unknown reason the CRT screens froze and the plane was turning off course. Then i disengaged the AP and the plane started doing a barrel roll. Then i was finally able to regain control but i dont want this to ever happen again whats the problem with this?

I have long been thinking this needs to be done, and if we can keep this list clean and a moderator will make it sticky, it could be of use to many. I have searched the forum and complied a rudimentary list of questionable airports. As others have suggested this problem seems to do with the surface material , bitumus. Aparantly the PMDG 744 is deathly allergic to this material. If you use the AFCAD editor, you will see that all of the airports in question share runways with this material. ONce you identify an airport with Bitumus runways, it is easy to change the surface to asphalt or concrete using the editor, and the problem goes away. Unfortunately, I do not know…

Hello all,Having bought my Navigraph credits and used 20 to purchase the 0610 AIRAC Cycle, I am having many problems with my flightplans not being recognised in the FMC (well, they are recognised but I get error messages) and also not being offered runway or STAR options for my destination airports, nothwithstanding that the appropriate terminal procedures are installed . Been flying for two years without any problems before.So, I tried to reinstall 0608 AIRAC Cycle, to see if that would help but my FMC still maintains that I am running with 0610 AIRAC Cycle. Can you not go back once you have updated your AIRAC?The FMC problem is same with either PMDG 737 or 747.Any advic…

after purchasing and installing fsx, i am unable to use the queen on fs9 while running squawk box. you hear the button clicks, but the visual action takes approx 45-60seconds to occure. same with switching views. it takes 45-60 sec after you switch before anything happens. i have uninstalled and reinstalled fs9, fsx, and the queen. same with squawkbox. i also did fsuipc. i have used the utility mentioned on here to update the registry. all drivers have been updated. this has all started when i installed fsx. anyone on here run into that issue?? i have run a search and am unable to find an answer. i have run out of resources....PLEASE HELP!!...AMD 4000+ clawhammer. I'm having a problem that some my installed PMDG B737s are not displaying in FlightSim.I have checked and rechecked the aircraft.cfg file and I'll be damned if I can see why not.Some have been installs from the PMDG website using their installer and others have been from Avsim or other sources that I have had to copy and paste the [fltsim.x] information into the aircraft.cfg files.I do have a lot of them installed.I can post my aircraft.cfg file and screenshots of my directory structure if need be.Any or all help appreciated.Mark

Hi folks, my first ever post here so please be gentle ok!I have been using PMDG products for a long time now, so I am fairly competent, especially regarding the 747-400.My problem (just recently) is that when I am on my take off roll, the aircraft (747) will begin to rock / bounce. This increases in intensity until eventually, at around V2, it will "Crash" on the runway.As you can imagine, this is infuriating, especially after an hour or so of planning etc.All weights etc are fine,I also use the popular "Topcat" tool for all take off data.What can be causing this????Many thanxDuncan

Maybe this has been discussed already, but just in case: if you change/select the arrival runway AFTER entering all the winds in the legs page, the winds will be wiped out.James

Hi, Not sure where to post this, but I notice high OAT at high altitudes.Why is that? Even with all wx off (no 3d party) en CAVOK. temperatures in the mid-30's are still around -17 deg C!That's way too high.Anybody having the same readouts?regardsTee Loo

I just registered with navigraph and downloaded the latest cycle for the 747. Now I find I have no runways at some airports - EGLL & EGCC in particular.Any ideas?I purchased the 747 in 2005, can I re-install it (I have the downloaded zip files)?ThanksJohn Earl

Hi guys!You're aircraft is so great but at the moment I'm having a problem: when I select the PMDG 737-800/900, I get a bluescreen while loading the Navdata. A "bluescreen" means that this is really a blue screen with no message. Do you know that problem? All,I'm loving the -400F very much but had a quick question. How does one create a "company flight plan" which can be easily accessed (loaded) in multiple flights? In other words, is there any way to save those lengthy flight plan routes once entered into the FMC for repeated use?Thanks.

I'm running PMDG 744 and I always download the latest SID/STARS and AIRAC cycle. I'm now finding more increasingly that these conflict with MSFS because the latter is not updated. Runway designators often don't match, and the ILS that is used by the FMC is not the same as that in the FS database, and hence, does not recieve a signal. Can anyone give me any advice, is it possible to update the MSFS database?Thanks, Martin.

Hi all, I know this isn't a CH forum, but I was wondering if I might get some advise.I'm seriously considering buying myself a CH yoke, i'm sure plenty of you use them. I've heard they are superb, and they add a bit more realism.My problem is that, i've only got one leg, and don't think i'd be able to operate pedals very well, thus I dont think i'll but them.Is the yoke sufficient by itself? Is it still worth having without the pedals? How can I set up to have nose wheel steering, can i use my old joysticks rudder axis for the nosewheel steering in conjunction with the CH yoke?Any other thoughts / comments on pros / cons, with or without pedals would be highly appreciated…
