Hi allI recently purchased FSX (Deluxe Edition) and I will say that for the most part it is quite an exciting new version, albeit with some very poor work done by MS on Sydney International Airport (YSSY).So, the reason for this post - the default Airbus in FSX. I think it's the A320, but can't remember. Anyway, I was doing a "mission" flight in the airbus and noticed that while cruising there was an attitude of about 5 degree's nose-down (not up like we are accustomed to in the Boeing's). I wanted to ask someone in the development team of the PMDG Airbus if this is in fact how the airbus flies in the read world (i.e. nose down in cruise) or if it is a bit of bad modellin…

I have a quick question about the side-by-side EICAS in the 737 - is it possible to view the SYS data (flight controls, APU, hydraulics, etc.) when using this configuration (a la Southwest Airlines)? I know the over-under EICAS (commonly used with PFD/ND) configuration allows it, but SWA uses side-by-side with their EFIS-MAP layout....can it be done?Thanks,Jim SWVA F.O.

Hi there,anyone know how to completely remove the animated yoke in the virtual cockpit in the pmdg 747 ? (we can just pretend its an airbus) heheI love the 737 because you can setup a great VC view and not see much of the yoke, however in the 747 it covers alot of important instruments when on approach. I have a big screen so staying in VC mode for all of the flight is not a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated !! Simon.

Hi all,I just want to ask if there are any ways I could manually enter ils frequency in FMC. This is because I have add-on scenery for Kai Tak Airport and I want to fly that checkerboard approach with ils frequency tuned to 111.9. However, as the old airport is not in the FMC database, there are no ways for me to tune that frequency.Also, I enter a VOR frequency in Nav 1 in FMC and the course, how can I capture that VOR radial like the autopilot NAV function in other aircraft.Cheers !!DanielVHHH

I am trying to start the APU from the 'cold and dark' Panel.I read that after refuelling (using the PMDG option), the fuel selector switches automatically set to the correct configuration.They momentarily iluminate then go out.Is this normal?If not, what am I doing wrong?Help please

Captains-We had a pretty lousy weekend at PMDG thanks in part to Microsoft Update and (in larger part) to some extraordinary incompetence at the company that hosts PMDG's servers.I'll spare you the details other than to tell you what you already knew: We lost email connectivity, eCommerce and Validation all in one single swipe.I'm embarrassed to admit that we THOUGHT validation had come back online with all the other systems we brought back yesterday evening- but in an over-tired state I neglected to check for certain. I could have posted this in the main Avsim forum but I think it is more relevent here, since the problem has only arisen after installation of my 2 PMDG A/c. Hi,Did someone else have the same prob with the AGNIS system at EDDF when using the aerosoft addon? The problem is that when you align the white tube with your corresponding A/C type my nose then hits the building.Can someone help me with this minor fault?

Gentlemen,I've read that PMDG is in Paderborn this weekend showing the MD-11.But will PMDG also be at the dutch Flightsimulator weekend at the Aviodrome?? Hiya allI know that the PMDG website has had some problems the last few days and that included the authorisation servers. I noticed that the website seems to be working fine now and I can log into the PMDG shop, but my 747 install still fails the autherisation. Are there still problems with the servers? or do I need to contact PMDG support to see if my auth needs reseting?Many thanks in advanceDean.

Hey, I was just flying the 737-700 from Stansted to Nice. After setting up the fmc, it gave me a recomended cruise altitude of FL310 which is what i selected as the flight level. Just before reaching the top of climb i reacieved a message in the fmc saying "VNAV disconnect" and "unable to cruise alt" the vnav then disconected and wouldnt allow me to turn it back on.Any ideas why this happened?Thanks in advace.

Gents,I was thinking about the compatibility of md eleven in Flight Simulator. So, the point is: "Why not go in the forum and simply ASK a real simple question? They must answer me, obvious..."So guys... Will the MD11 be compatible with FS9? Yes or not, simple and direct... Because my FSX will be really really slow with an add-on, for sure. Actually 15 fps in mid-low...Thank you guys for the pacience... ;)
