Hi,I'm currently having some problems with no runways showing up for KORD in the arr screen for the 747(but it is also happening in the 737). I've got the latest data from navigraph, cycle 0611. Can anyone please check there arr screen for KORD and tell me if if you have the same thing happening? I don't want to reinstall anything if I can avoid it.Thanks for the help, Ron

Just Purchased this fine Aircraft today and after install noticed the overhead V.C buttons are not active ..anyone have a fix i have read the manual are the updates at PMDG required for this to be resolved Thanks Rick

Hi!I have bought yesterday the PDMG 747. I already have the PMDG 737NG. My problem is that the Strobe lights on wings flash very slow on den 747 on the 737 the flash very fast every second for example. on 747 only every 10 seconds. the beacon and the strobe on the back flash OK.Thank you for your help

Can any real 744 pilot or engineer tell me where the light switches are for the main lights that illuminate the whole cockpit particulaly the rear? I noticed when in the real aircraft on stand the other day that there is main lighting which is not controlled by the lights section on the overhead panel and dome light toggle etc? Having a quick scout around i was not able to find any other controlls around the flight deck. Switching off the dome light did not extunguish this lighting, so i assumed that there were either other switches else where or the illumination was function of aircrafts situation with ground power on and systems and engines off? thanksFynn

I fly the 744 mostly in the VC nowadays and always arm speedbrakes on approach and observe that the handle is pulled back to "ARM." On T/down, the speedbrakes are deployed correctly, but sometimes momentarily, sometimes for slightly longer, and then they retract suddenly to the down position (i.e., flat) and stay there until I pull back the reversers and then the speedbrake panels lift up again.Why is this happening?Appreciate advice, info, or whatever, on this, thanks.Jonathan

I have an official Qantas computer generated flight plan for a B747 from Sydney to Singapore. When I input the details from this into the PMDG B744 FMC the aircraft:a) uses the entire "official" route fuel before it reaches 1/3rd of the flight;:( won't climb beyond FL310 - FMC gives a "can't get to cruise level" message.Something is obviously wrong here. Who's at fault? PMDG? Me? Qantas?CheersBrian

Last night I brought out my old trusty 737-700 that I haven't flown in ages and decided to do a flight.There I was in the VC ( TrackIR user ) setting everything up and I had the FMC keyboard mode on. I was typing in my route "KMDW - KPVD" and I noticed that the "V" key wouldn't show on the FMC when I hit it. What I did notice, however, was the blue text "Default VC" showing up on the top of my screen ( I don't use blue text for anything, I use default text colors so this was very odd ).I looked through every addon I could to see what would be causing this.... Hi! When FS is fully loaded (you are inside in the cockpit) all CRT displays turning-off automatically after 15-20 sec. and also, if I try to start from "DARK" cockpit--- the same problem appears again!;-(( is ANYONE can HHHEEELLLPPP!!!???? PLZ!!

Hello Boeing crews !I am getting a bit tired of using the simple and sometimes stupid FS9 ATC. As he/she does not recognize the FMC route, you only get continuous messages like:- Turn right heading 055- Turn left heading 215...Even, if you try to simulate SIDs or STARs in FS9 planner (which sometimes have sharp turns), ATC overrides the planned route and takes you the straight way...I have heard about a thing called "Radar Contact 4". They claim to be much more realistic than FS9 ATC, so I am thinking about purchasing that tool.But I have two questions for all of you who have installed it:1.- Is it fully compatible with PMDG-737 or perhaps a source of problems ?2.- Is it …

HelloThis is the first problem I've had with the pmdg 737 series. My problem began after installing the latest FSUIPC 3.7.1. I have reinstalled the earlier version to try and seperate the problem but the problem persists.ALL FS9 aircraft operate including PMDG B1900. The problem only lies with the PMDG 737 series aircraft.When starting up FS9 and selecting the 737, the nav database loads. When I then push the OK button the button is frozen. If I select ALT F4 I move onto the enxt screen, however, once again the screen is frozen until I selct ALT F4. I have a message 'KSEA error:16c rwy unknown' message appear when I enter KSEA in the fmc origin/destination boxes.No runways appear for KSEA in the arr/dep section of the fmc.I had uninstalled/reinstalled pmdg 747 yesterday and it was fine afterwards.Today I downloaded airac 0608 and sid/stars AIO and that's when the problem began.I have reinstalled Airac 0608 but still have the problem.Have tested KJFK/KLAX/KDEN/KSFO/KMIA/EGLL/EGGB/EGPF and all is well.I know the answer is simple but when it comes to computers,so am I.Any help would be appreciated.regards Jim

Hi GuysJust bought the PMDG 747 and very good it is too..However, I dont seam to have the 747 Load Manager installed like the PMDG 737. And when I got onto 'Fuel and Payload' it only give me the option to adjust only one 'Station'Have serarched thew other posts but cant find anthing about this one.Not sure if i have to download extra file, but would have thought it would have come in the initial download.Thanks in advance for you help.RegardsDean

Hi All.. If you select 'TA' instead of 'TA/RA' on the Comm Radio's TCAS switch, then 'TA Only' should appear in blue on the ND screen, but it doesn't. Anyone know why? Or do I need additional settings too.Thanks....EGLL

Hi,I know you guys are terribly busy but just a moment of your time, I hope. In one of the status-updates above, you mentioned that some level of instructions about how to port-over the PMDG B1900C/D to our FSX environment would be forthecoming. Assuming it doesn't contain a new installer or anything, could you just post some quick notes here as to how it's best done (enough to get us started)? I'm getting ready to try something else besides the deault FSX aircraft this weekend and my thinking was, the B1900C/D might be a good (easy) place to start.As always, Thanks for your insight...

Hi. I've just been taxying around some addon scenery for VTBS Suvarnabhumi airport in the Queen and I notice that when I line up on either 19L or 19R, the panel display shows me as being off the runway even though FSNav has me right on the centreline. Yes, I did have the correct runway selected on the DEP page of the FMC and I tried both runways with the correct one selected on the DEP page each time. I even tried selecting the 'wrong' runway in case they had simply been transposed, but no.Is there a way I can correct the runway position in the PMDG Navdata? At present both 19L and 19R show up incorrectly on the panel display.Many thanksRob

Hello with all, WITH THE HELP, I BECOME INSANE!!!. When I engage the autopilot after takeoff, this last dies out, and a sound to tear off you a resounded ear. I used and implemented several tutoriaux (Eric MARCHADO, JP MABILLE etc) I have read it and applied to the letter near during several weeks, but anything made there. With force to start again unceasingly, I knows them by heart. I note that the majority of the uitlisateurs of this beautiful plane are fully satisfied and I have water of it with stop. HiI've just spent the last 2 hours remapping key strokes for my CPFlight MCP and EFIS.Can someone tell me where they are located, so I can make a copy of them? This way if I have future hassles I can just edit the file copy/past)with the keys and not have to go through this time consuming process again.I assume this can be done easily.....Iain
