Latest addition to my collection available in either AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans or NavData libraries. Procedures based on FAA NACO Digital Terminal Procedures current for cycle 0612 (23Nov-21Dec). With departures like ERRTH, MOONN & MAARS along with arrivals GEMNI and POLAR these are fun to fly. All SIDs STARs and IAPs are included, as well as SID & STAR Charts in the header of the text file to assist procedure selection. All arrivals and departures are provided "as charted" for use with ATC vectors; also NOATC version of each departure for route guidance to the departure fixes and up to four enumerations of each arrival with connections to the ILS FAFs

Hello I'm back and hope fully with a bit less confusion than last time. (hehe) Anyway on to the point...I was looking at the lesson material I downloaded from the precisionmanuals site and on page 1-10 in the first paragraph it talks about downloading SID/STARS and NAVDATA. I am confused about what I am supposed to download from the navdata.at site. Also does the information need be placed into a directory where the PMDG sim runs from?I realize both sites have SID/STARS and that I only need one set of those files. I have the SID/STARS from www.planepath.com loaded into the proper directory. I guess the question is what is the NAVDATA at www.navdata.at? Is it just printabl…

Hello!I am trying to use keyboard use to control PMDG and I found a lot of command that I can use (like Autobreakes Increase Pos -> Shft+U).There are many keyboards options I can assing to CDU (HOLD, PROG, etc.) but I could not find a place to assing keyboard keys to the buttons at left and right top of CDU. Are there such options im PMDG?Thank you Deleo

Hi everybody,I'm having some problem with the 744.The problem is this: no matter what I try but she goes always into a neverending overspeed when reaching cruise altitude. I have tried to change manually the speed on the FMC but nothing changes until I disconnect A/P and take manual control.I know it could be related to some problem of weather (I use AS6) but I don't think so. I have set everything possible to smooth unrealistic wind changes (I have registered copy of FSUIPC)and, frankly speaking all other add-ons seem not to suffer of this issue.My cruise altitude was a little below the OPT ALT; I have also read something through this forum but found nothing particularly…

Hello I own both the 747-400 and the 400F. I probably would have tired of FS long ago if it were not for these great airplanes.There is one nagging problem that I have not been able to figure out. From time to time when the aircraft reaches the TOC, and the Engine Controllers switch the Power Mode from CLB to CRZ, the auto throttle disengages.This is random, and I have not been able to re-create the problem at will. If this occurs, the thrust level is maintained at the CLB setting, and I approach overspeed in no time. I run FS in high realism mode, so an overspeed is something I try to avoid at all costs. It seems to have no relation to my throttle setting on my joystick(…

I have programmed a 6000nm flight with 17 pages of wp in the LEGS pages. I expect an average headwind of 50 knots during the flight. Do I have to enter an estimated hdg/headwind spd in every single field of the RTE DATA pages for this huge flight or can I insert an average for all 17 pages, or what options do I have?Thanks!Jonathan

Captains-Just wanted to let you know that we have completed our transition to the new server host, and have activated nearly all services for customers including the shopping cart, install validation, etc.We are once again receiving email and handling customer support issues- for the most part you should see no further inturruptions.We have not yet completed bringing over the database of legacy customer orders (orders before 08OCT04) but that should be done tonight sometime.This new server will readily support PMDG's operations into the future and should easily prevent the kinds of hiccups we've seen in the past. Hi,I'm having problems with the 747 panel since installing the latest nvidia drivers (GeForce 6800 card). The problem is that, amongst other things, the text/ numbers on displays are incorrect. For example, on the EICAS display, the N1 bars extend downwards too far and cover the EGT numbers. Cabin altitude and rate readouts also appear not to fit in the spaces allocated for them. The PFD, ND and FMC are also affected. I'm running FS2004 in 1280x1024. I dont seem to have any problems with other aeroplanes.I've tried restoring the original driver. I've also played around with display resolution within both Windows and FS. Nothing has solved this.Suggestions welcome!M…

Hello!Today, i made two flights. The first was okay, nothing problem. At the arrival airport, i made the aircaft ready for the next flight. I set the the FLT ALT, and the LAND ALT. After takeoff, while i climbing, the OFF SHED DESCENT light turned on, and it illuminated until i reached my cruising altitude minus 1000 feet.What was the problem?Thank youDavid

Just recently my 744 has started circling the first way point in the FMC route. After a leisurely 5 degree circling turn back to the first way point the rest of the flight continued as per the FMC plan. I did not set it as a holding point. Any ideas?Gerry

Hi - My question relates to the 737 series keystroke commands.I am using the CP Flight MCP and EFIS and have altered many of the keystroke commands to suit this equipment (as suggested by CP Flight).Number 53 - MCP set TOGA; &Number 54 - MCP resetr TOGAI understand what they mean, but should I have them mapped to the MCP or leave them as is? These two settings are not mentinoed in the CPFlight tutorial on MCP set up.I hope there is another CP Flight MCP user out there reading this. Thanks....IAIN

I am having a problem everytime i land the 747 and all other aircraft the aircraft after applying the brakes the aircraft goes around in circles.I do not have any problem taking off and the aircraft is dead on centreline.I was wondering if any captains could help me out??? yours in flying jason:-(

I'm looking at buying a new PC primarily for running FSX as my current computer is a few years old and not fast enough for FSX. I can run FSX on my PC now, but it's a bit slow and "jerky" in the graphics. After loading up a flight, 30 seconds later all the screens blank out and do not come back??This is a new thing. Is there a switch??Recently I added a new hard drive in the c/d location with new windows install and FS9 is on same drive with a different name now (H/I).Any help would be nice.

I have been using FSX as most of us have and wanted to go back to FS9 to fly a few United Virtual flights for the airline and went to change the load for the 737 flight and got the error that said Could not detect a valid flight simulator installation. I thought that was strange as I didn't change anything ith FS9 so I fired up the sim and was going to take a look to see what I got. The plane loaded okay and I was reading it for take off and a little test flight jsut to make sure. Once I started moving my frames that usually are around 30-40 everywhere in FS9 with all the addons, dropped to 1-2-3-6 once I changed views and went back into the cockpit. I have hunfredes …

I've just completed a long-haul in the 744, from VTBS to EGCC. I loaded fuel intending to have over 24,000lb left on arrival. The cruise was overnight so I was asleep for most of it and didn't turn off the crossfeed fuel pumps until this morning... which may be the cause of the problem I had during descent.During the descent (ROSUN1F arrival managed by the FMC in VNAV) I started to get yellow messages on the EICAS, firstly re. override pumps, and then a low fuel message even though the FMC claimed to have just under 30,000lb remaining.
