Hi everybody.I have a big understanding problem.So 737 Takeoff with flap5. When i am reaching V2+15 i set Flaps 1 but why can i do this so early?I dont have reach the maneuverspeed 1. Isnt it dangerous?And why do i have to set Flaps 1 at the minimum maneuverspeed and not at Maneuverspeed 1?Greets Markus

Perhaps Robert could give us a new update on the status of PMDG's various projects? My FSX installation just feels naked without the Queen of the Skies. Is it close to being ready (any chance of a pre-Christmas release?)? Or is 2007 a more likely possibility?Thanks,Andrew

I had a major problem with my PC and had to put in new hard drive. I had copy of original download from 8/12/05 and had all the required info. inc. authorisation code, but when I press enter to validate, it just disappears. Can anybody please help.

Hi folks,I'm owning and flying a PMDG B738 NG with very much fun.When I'm flying online at IVAO I'm mostly/always advised by ATC to report when crossing the outer-marker on ILS-approach. But there are no marker lights and also there is not a 75kHz tone on my panel. Where can I find it or what I'm doing wrong?GreetingsHermann

I just doqnloaded the apdate in "Subject"I start the PMDG747_Sound_Update_FS9 setup.exeAfter I accepted the terms of licence agreement, a windows pops up saying : "Installation cannot continue. You do not have Flight Simulator installed." I do have FS9.1 installed and of course both 747 400 and 400F installed too and I had no problem installiong these two soft. The PMDG website states that you need to have the 737 NG software package install prior to loading the 737 800-900 package. When I look at the PC Aviator site, they appear to be offering a CD-ROM box version that does not require the NG Software package.My question is if I purchase the CD-ROM version of the 737 800-900 package, do I need the NG package installed?ThanksTom

I have tons and tons of hours in the 744P/C and I don't think I have run into this problem. I have a feeling I did something wrong somewhere along the line and I just don't know what exactly it is that happened. Currently, I am flying from WIII (Jakarta, Indonesia) to KPDX (Portland). I am at FL410 and I was getting an overspeed warning. I looked at the PFD and my a/t is not engaged but the switch is in the "ON" position. I have hit the button and blanked it back out. I have hit the THR and SPD and I still get nothing. I checked the manual and there isn't anything in there, that I saw, about this. Can anybody help? Do I just have a bug or is this because somethin…

I downloaded the British Airways livery for the 747 but cannot seem to get the ATC to call me "Speedbird". I checked under "aircraft" and found the PMDG 747 and checked the ATC and found SPEEDBIRD listed, but ATC still refers to me as 777 Heavy rather than above. Any help would be [email protected]

Gents,I've just bought a newer and faster computer and am trying to install both the 747 and 747F but I get a message saying that flightsim is not installed on the drive. I've read the brief which says that I should then browse the directory and guide the installer to the right path. The only problem with this though, is that I cannot get rid of that message. The only way of stopping the message displaying is to remove it from the taskbar, thus aborting the whole installation.I'm desperate to get the old bird up again. Would someone be able to help me PLEASE!Many thanks in advanceMark.

I downloaded a SID/STAR for VTBS and put it into the correct folder (Flight Simulator 2004PMDGSIDSTARS), but when I try to input 'VTBS' into the FMC, the FMC reads back 'Not in Database.' Can someone help me with this?

HEY ALL, CAN SOME ONE HELP PLEASE.I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE, BUT RECENTLY WHEN SETTING UP FMC THE NAVAIDS AND AIRPORTS ARE NOT WHERE THEY SHOULD BE.EXAMPLE:IF I PUT IN A FIX DIRECTY OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY THE MAP SHOWS A TRK OF AT LEAST 10 DEGREES TO THE RIGHT.ALSO IF I JUST FOLLOW THE PATH FROM ONE AIRPORT TO ANOTHER IT DOES'NT FOLLOW THE EXACT PATH(KIND OF LIKE IT'S YAWING THE WHOLE WAY) WHEN I GET TO THE DESTINATION IT ALSO IS WAY OFF.IF I FOLLOWED THE PATH I WOULD MISS THE RUNWAY BY AT LEAST 1 MILE????? THE ONLY THING I'VE DONE IS UPDATE THE AIRAC?THE 747 AND 737-600/700/800/900 ALL DO THE SAME. IS IT THE AIRAC????

Well, since you guys were so helpful with my last post, I figured I'd bug you all once again. :DSorry if I'm just missing something, as I couldn't find it in the manual. When I takeoff, when do I start increasing my speed past V2? I always keep it there for about 10 seconds, then increasing my speed to 220-250 or so and bringing the flaps up when it tells me to. I was hoping to get answer on what's the proper way to do this.Thanks!-Tim

I just reinstalled FS9 and all my associated add ons. The utility I use for organizing things shows I'm missing 2 files for 737NG 600/700. In the panel, I'm missing "737NG_Overhead_1280.bmp". In the aircraft.cfg file I'm missing "PMDG737NG_REF.htm" I've searched and googled to no avail. Any idea where to find these files.? Thanks,Matt Collins

Hi all,I have come to a weird situation :When taxiing to the gate after landing (it was at EBBR) i get a warning like "fuel x-feed config". Strange because all the way in cruise and approach no problem and my fuel was normal (= just above mins for landing).After some search I figured out that it was the auto refuel funtion of FS9 => I have taxi-ed along a refuel point (not visual because no standard scenery) and my tanks ware full again !Can this auto-refuel function be disabled someway or have i missed something?Thanks for any hints ...

Hello everyone. I just updated my fs9 to fs 9.1. Then I install the boeing pmdg 600-700 but then when I run the game I get an error (see picture). Is there any way to stop this? Or do I just have to stick with fs 9.0?? Thanks.John Hudson

Hi Everybody, Yesterday I tried to install the PMDG 737NG, and which was my surprise:I installed the 737-600/700 Version 1.3 without problems but when I start the 800/900 installation, told me a message say me that don't find the 600/700 installation, which is the problem? Hi,I am looking for an answer to phenomena of airspeed decrease while flying via FS turbulent weather. Using PMDG 744 queen and Active sky 6.5 Whenever the weather becomes active, Clouds or other generated turbulence (VAS is Active sky)the airspeed drops slowly or in small steps until a point (if you let it continue dropping) when the stick shaker becomes active. The only recovery in this case would be to decent and pick up airspeed again. Increasing throttles setting to CON or GA or CLB will not help (most of the time).If more info is required please tell me.This one is really disturbing since in long haul flights I usually leave the sim running for hours (while attendin…

I just installed the Oct, 2006 DX 9.0c update.When loging onto Avsim after a reboot I noticed Avsims home page loaded much faster.Interesting??I then loaded FS9 with the queen. I read in an Aidan Williams AVSIM review of the 737NG that PMDG offered a tutorial by Tim Metzinger: 737NG Advanced Operations Tutorial v2. I have found elsewhere a tutorial by Tim Metzinger but it is v1.01. Does anybody know of a Metzinger 737NG tutorial v2? Thanks, Captains.alimar
