    I've installed the B-737-600 v. 1.2 which I originally downloaded. Service Update 1.1 fails with a ... PMDG_737NG_thr_center_console.gau is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded... Any suggestions?Thanks

    HiI have the PMDG 747 and was thinking of buying the Logitech G15 Gamingkey board-the normal key board does not have enough bottons toassign.Could you please tell me if anyone uses this board and if you can assign the extra buttons to the PMDG assignment options.I am interested in using the lefthand buttons for the speed,heading and altitude settings.Or could you recommend another gamingboard.I have radar contact4 and fs2crew PMDG.Looking forward to your advice.Qas

    Hi folks,I have a litte problem with my joystick and the AP from the PMDG 737/738. When I fly and LNAV,VNAV is enabled and then suddenly touch my jostick with my foot, then VNAV and LNAV Buttons turn's off. Is this normal ? I always have to disable my stick in the flightsimulator.Greetings Bodo

    Hi fellows.When flying with PMDG 747 i get a bit confused. On EICAS i get the warning "DOORS ENTRY R". I have checked. All of my aircraft doors are securely closed. This warning illuminates every time i fly with PMDG 747.No help also when i open the Right doors, and then close them. So long i have disregarded it and continued flying. But i am worring a bit. Maybe i am doing something wrong? Regards, Johannes.

    Is there weather radar on this great plane? I see theres a button for it. Just like e.g airports, navaids, waypoints, etc. But when i push the weather button nothing happens on the ND. Am i doin something wrong? if someone knows something about this please tell me. Thanks, Richard

    First, let me say I've had the 744 and the 744F for about a month now and thoroughly enjoy it. Lots to learn on those long transpac flights.I do have an glitch with the VC textures. More often than not when I cycle into VC the textures do not "snap in". I simply get the basic outlines and some guages but no colors/textures on the cockpit, seats, panel, etc.I'm guessintg its a system issue and not the product but has anyone had similar issues and can recommend fixes/work arounds?Thanks,

    Available in either AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans or NavData.at libraries. Based on FAA NACO Digital Terminal Procedures published for Cycle 0612 (23Nov-21Dec). The Vectors-only departures (Mariner & Newark) are provided as published for use with ATC vectors and are enumerated for most departure routes based on actual ground tracks for use in lieu of vectors. Hi there allDo any experts on this forum know why British Airways would use something called an "APU-to-Pack" take-off configuration as standard procedure, whereby: They perform T/O and climbout until acceleration with Packs 1 and 3 off (and isolated), and the APU "feeding" pack 2? Wouldn't this waste a lot of fuel considering they have 57 747-400s flyign around all day? Why would they do it?I don't suppose anyone has any ideas?CheersRudy

    I'm still using the FS9 ATC and am tired of always having to deviate the FMC course just to make ATC happy on approach. I fugured that since I'm switching to FSX very soon, I should also look for a good ATC. I know there are a few ATC addons out there but I'm not sure which one to get. I also don't know if they're planning to upgrade to FSXJust in general, what are the different programs out there and what are their features?     Hey there.Ive thought that i had overcome most problems concernig selecting apprach proceedures etc for the pmdg737ng but today i hit a problem.On a flight from KSFO to KIAH and was following a flight plan i got from flight aware which suggested the RIICE1 star. I knew i would be using runway 26L to land but the star ended on the opposite side of the airport. What do other people do if this happens?Looking on the RIICE1 approach chart the intsructions are to continue on a heading of 085 and await ATC instructions, but as i do not fly on vatsim or have RC4 where can i get these instructions?Thanks in advance, sorry if the question was a bit long!Dave

    Departing LLBG rwy 30 on straight-ahead basis for first 22 nm, LNAV commands a 360 deg turn left or right prior to close wp 298b or any other nearby wp when it engages moments after liftoff. It then flies the route normally after completing the 360 around the entire airport and departure rwy area. I cannot understand what is going on here. The 360 deg command is active during hand fly or AP departure. I've checked the DEP page, rwy, LNAV, V-speeds, I cannot imagine what I am missing.Why would LNAV command a 360 thus ?Jonathan

    I have the PMDG 737, 747 and 747F.I fly the 737 without any problems and have done so for over two years.However, I cannot get the 747 to function properly and have given up on the plane on numerous occasions, never having had a satisfactory flight.The problems is that the Autopilot, whether in LNAV, VNAV, FLCH etc does not behave in the way that I have been led to expect. The plane will fly above an altitude, notwithstanding a restriction in the MCP, it will sometimes fly a different course to that set in the CDU and appearing in the ND display. It sometimes climbs at 9000 ft a minutes in FLCH mode, busts through an altitude set in the MCP and then goes into a dive etc. …

    As in Russia, China, they use metric level. So when I have to enter their region, I have to use their flight level, however, how can I do it when using PMDG, because step climb do have only ICAO, which is not the case for metric countries

    Hi guys:I bought the F yesterday (finally), and I've encountered some unusual problems.The A/T is broken. I can engage it, but it does not show as if it was engaged, and none of the AP modes associated with it work. In fact, when I engage it, the modes are not shown on the PFD. I've attached two pictures from two different flight where I've experienced this.Now, on the first flight, I used the Cold and Dark scenario file, but on the second, I simply created my own using the checklists, so I suppose that can be ruled out as the cause.Any ideas to start troubleshooting this?Thanks,Daniel P.

    Thanks for the update as always; its a bit of a bummer to hear the MD11 may or may not be for FS9 but none the less I always appreciate you guys dedication to getting it right. I know Ill make the transition to FSX sooner or later and when I do have a great selection of PMDG airplanes to add to my hangar!Oh yeah, the sky is falling. Seriously.

    Does anyone know where the PMDG 737NG FMC gets ILS frequencies from? In other words when you select an ILS approach in the FMC how does it know the frequency? I flew into KSTL today and selected the 30L ILS approach and in the App REF page it had the wrong freq.
