    I've been attempting to program the spoilers as well as the flaps to the axis levers for the PMDG 737-6/700 on my CH TQ without success. I've tried FSUIPC (registered ver.3.7) as well as the assigment page in FS9. Once in a while I can get the spoilers to function correctly, although it's not permanent since a short while later it no longer functions. As far as the flaps settings, I'm unable to get them to move in increments and the lever jumps all over the place.Has anyone been able to accomplish this? I really don't like the CHCM for programming a 'map', just too confusing.Thanks ahead of time,Jim

    Hi when looking at the paderborn pics i was shocked...there where only "old" people there :( so i really wonder how old you serious simmer like me are...im "only" 21...and if you all work in the airline buiss...i study computer science and only do this for fun.How old are you, and what do you do for a living?

    I'm operating the -400 and the -400F which are both up-to date but I am still having problems performing a VNAV descent.Problem 1. If I'm cruising below the OPT cruise height then the aircraft will need to decelerate. As expected, a few miles from the TOD the throttles retard and the speed bug moves to the ECON speed for descent. But as the the aircraft slows, the bug flicks between descent and cruise speed causing the engines to throttle up and down, why?Problem 2.If I attempt to EXEC the descent early the aircraft descends too quickly.     I have recently recieved FS2Crew for my 737 NG 800/900. The manual states that NG737 800/900 MUST have Service Upgrade 2 installed. My version is in cd format. How can I determine whether it has Service Upgrade 2 ?? Thanks GeorgeH PHNX

    HiCould someone please explain the following problem and also suggest a solution .I planned aflight from EGll to EGCC.I use radar contact4.In the 747 I had selected runway 24R at EGCC in radar contact 4 for landing-When I tried to set App ,the FMC gave an error message -and the Appwill not switch on.I tried to look for the ils frequency and haeding in the FMC and could not find it.Only runway number and length was given in the approach section.Could you please tell me why was there no runway info in the FMC,and how can I add the ils and heading manually.And if I add the info manually will the App switch on.Looking forward to your comments.Qas.

    Hello All, I have had my PMDG a/c for a long time now.....I recently had to reinstall.... when i tried to install one of the liveries from the pmdg website i get the message that the aircraft.cfg cannot be opened When i click ok i get the message that the PMDG livery adder encountered problems and needs to close Any suggestions? thanx in advance Ed Callan

    Hi everybody.I have one big understanding problem.I should set the V2+10 in the MCP IAS Selector.So when i am doing the takeoff the FD always should show me the correct pitch (v2+10) its the toga mode.But when i am setting the v2+10 in MCP panel the FD shows me the pitch i insert in the MCP +10. so dont i have to set only v2 so the FD shows me then the correct pitch.And in the climbout procedure the airplane is in N1 mode (takeoff thrust) at 1500 agl it have to accelerate to the clean speed.So do the pilots always set in MCP IAS Panel the clean speed. or do they only use the half v/s mode and at Flaps 5 they select THR and FL so the speed at moment is selected automatica…

    When flying the 737 i often get a diffrent track than the heading i have selected.f.ex: heading 180 and track 190. this means that the aircraft flys a little wideways cause of the wind right? with the nose 10 degrees of the direction of the aircraft is flying?and now for the real question:when flying in LNAV the aircraft always flys on the route track, but does it change heading accoring too the wind or is the heading and track the same in LNAV?

    Hi, I just installed the 747 cargo and have yet to fly a complete flight without a hard lockup where the sound goes into a loop and I have to shut my PC off and reboot. Everything was working fine with my other PMDG747(boxed version with update installed)until I installed this new plane. Can someone help me out with trouble shooting this? Thanks for the help, Ron

    Hi,LNAV has me pointing about 10 degrees to the right of the FMC course. It corrects to direct me to each waypoint then drifts off 10 degrees. When I use heading select it is about 5 degrees off. I must set the heading to a higher number to correct it to the right heading. ILS is a mess, glide slope is about a quarter mile to the right of being correct, but parallel to the runway.I have tried several AIRAC cycles and am now using 0609 which worked for me in the past.Does anyone have an idea what is happening?Thank you.Craigjjs

    Went out to run some errands with the Queen flying and got sidetracked. When I finally got back, I had exhausted fuel in Tanks 2 & 3 and was running all 4 engines on tanks 1 & 4. I had never tried that, and was gratified to know that things still kept running with this abnormal configuration. when I landed, was unable to start APU due to no fuel in Tank 2. Documentation mentions fuel transfer switches that allow fuel transfer from 1 & 4 to 2 & 3, but I can find no switches to do this. Is this feature not modeled in the aircraft at present?Thanks,Larry Jasmann

    I've found when flying the 744, that when I have a long route programmed into the FMC, there is a strange "jumping" of the frame rates at the begining of the flight. Does anyone else encounter this and is there anything I can do to stop it?

    Hello all,I've got a strange problem with the Queen. When I start FS9 and the Queen (744) after about 5 min. only the top 1 - 1 1/2 inch of my screen get's updated. The rest of the screen is frozen. I have this problem ONLY with FS9 in combination with the PMDG747.When I fly a default FS9 plane this does not occur.How to troubleshoot this?Any hints are welcome.Greetings,Alex

    I need your help!I flew the Queen as well as the 737NG for years without problems. But now, when I align the IRS I always get a wrong MAG heading. For example at KPDX on rwy 10 (hdg 101) I get a MAG heading of 119.Any idea? :-mad The Level-D 767 indicates a MAG HDG of 101. The PMDG 747 and 737 a HDG of 119.Thx for helpBruno
