    Hello,I will try to explain my problem really clearly.From now six months, I fly with the 737 family with a really great pleasure. I bought the 747 too and I'm so pleased to play with both those planes.My current problem is with VNAV cruise.PMDG 737 Next Gen have an option in his configuration editor wich allow to use the VNAV ALT, wich allow to not have VNAV disconnecting when you modify your altitude on the MCP and allow you to set this altitude independently, but the FMC still manage speed limitation and other things.This mode is normal one on the 747.For an unknown reason, the FMC won't do that anymore from about a week. So do you have any idea on what can cause this …

    Does anyone have a good tip on how to measure the distance between the 747-400 and the taxi centerline behind it? I always end up several meters to the left or right of the centerline, which is not much realistic. How do you measure the exact distance so that the 747 stops exactly at the Taxi Centerline after the 90 degree turn?:-)RaymondNorway:-)

  5. I am still flying FS9 with the Queen and getting used to my new Track IR 4 Pro. Generally, Track IR 4 works extremely well with almost all of my huge fleet of a/c in the VC. However, the PMDG Queen (and NG too) present some serious control and visual challenges with this great piece of hardware.I observe that on takeoff roll in the VC with Track IR, frames are somewhat lower than without TrackIR. I'd estimate maybe 35%-50% lower. They remain low/lower until reaching an altitude that has less cloud and ground texture detail, maybe around 10,000 feet.     This question applies to both teh 744 and 744F.It may seem like I'm splitting hairs here since I am using the packs on normal mode, they are working, they are splitting the work between the 3 of them etc etc.The question is: What is the trigger for the packs to switch from A to B or back to A at the end of a flight? The manual states that it automatically switches from one flight to the next, but I can't find anything definitive about what the trigger is.     Recently I had a chance to look at a real world arline flight planning program. They demonstrated a LRC flight from LAX to SYD on a 747-400. Why does PMDG 747 LRC mode start at a low speed, ie M83, and end in a higher speed, ie M86. The demonstrated flight plan was for a fully loaded aircraft for that distance and the LRC mode started at M855 (FL300) and ended at LAX at M835.   11. Hello all--- Updated 28OCT06 1300Z --Seems that the ISP botched a major upgrade in their Windows servers so people are running around in their network facilities like headless chickens. We're still trying our best to get things up and running, but for now, we're waiting for their operations center to attend to this problem in an appropriate manner. I have the demo (free) version of AIRAC but its version 0609.Can anybody tell me how to update that?     Hi,Since a few days I have the following problems:On the pos init page I have one line 1 the coordinate N37 55,4 E023 56,6 and on line 2 N51 0,0 W 000 0,0 (standing on EGLL). So my flt planner is lost.On take off I get the next error message:PMDG notification CG not within tolerance aircraft unflyable. I have the trim set at about 5 like normal. You can manually fly the aircraft without problems, but the AP won't engage anymore.I have had in all those years never these problems. I re-installed it again but still the same.     Hi PMDG team!I have two guestions for you:1)Will be modelled on NGX(and also on A320) "hard "speed constraints which work also without altitude constaraints?Because speed constraint on PMDG 737/747 but also on LDS767, PSS757 etc works only with a hard altitude constr. put in FMC.     Hello, I was installed pmdg 747, and now i install pmdg 737NG with 800-900, and now when I want to take a 747 I get error with Dont send..... and checkbox with restart fs9. But 737 works good. So what is wrong, and maybe I need reinstall 747?

    First of all, I'd like to say I've been very happy with this 747 for the year or so I've owned it, and equally happy with the 744F for the 6 months ish that I've owned that. My enjoyment nearly trippled when I installed the sound update. WOW. There seriously aren't words for that.     Considering PMDG is making such a detailed 747-400, it seems like I have found a detail that is not that accurate. I've noticed something in the cockpit videos I've been watching. When pressing the TOGA button, the thrust levers in the PMDG 747 reacts immediately. In the real aircraft, there seem to be a second or two of delay from pressing the TOGA to the thrust levers reacts :-) Is this the case or does it just looks like it in the videos? Sorry about this small detail, but if you're going to find anything wrong with the PMDG 747, you really have to look at the details ;)It is a fantastic product. RaymondNorway

    HiProblem 1 is: after I updated sound to the PMDG747, I can no loner hear the sound of TCAS being set. Dial Moves clockwise OK but no sound.Problem 2 is: upon approach and speed reduction I occasionally hear a startling horrible grinding and screeching sound for sevral seconds. It only goes away if I change views and come back to 2D and then it disappears.How do I remedy these problems.Thanks Bill
