Fluctuating I was flying B744 at FL330, the wind was fluctuating from 259/118(Tail) to 320/28(Head), as it kept changing, sometimes the A/C over-speed, finally the A/C overstessed when the wind JUMP to 330/49.So what should I do in the fluctuating condition

Hi,I already have the PDMG B747-400 and B737-600/700 NG. I also have LVL-D B767. I bought today the PDMG B737-800/900. Since I installed it my PDMG Products don't work anymore (using FS9)Symptoms : No keyboard (no Alt, no menu), sound affected.I have already re-installed the B737-600/700 NG ... no effect.Do you know what should I do ?IVAO ID 215476, VPA464, AFR701.

Hi all,I keep getting this strange fuel problem in the PDMG 737: I load my fuel tanks, i.e. 2500 kgs in both wing tanks and 400 kg in the center tank.Then somewhere between leaving the ramp and starting the takeoff, all tanks are suddenly 100% full. When I notice in time, I need to stop taxiing and reload. But if I don't see it in time, I run out of runway because I am too heavy for takeoff !This happens to me with all types -600, -700, -800 & -900.Does anyone have a clue what is happening ?Thanks.Regards, Eric (EHGG)

Hey fellow PMDG drivers,recently I've discovered a serious issue with my PMDG 737-600/700/800/900. I am unable to change any loads with the loadmanager. All the bars are fully on the left and not moveable. Also all indicators show "0". This is pretty strange since I am not aware of any changes I made to my system.Has any of you got an Idea on what to do?Thanks in advance.kind RGDS,Florian (TXL, Germany)

Ocassionally, as takeoff speed increases, the aircraft pulls to the left. All engines are functioning normally and trim seems OK. This doesn't happen on the 737. Any suggestions?

Ok, so, I searched the site and have found many topics related to the functionality of ACARS. It's clear that it is not yet modeled in the 737 line. It is also clear that this is an area that has been slated for future upgrades, as far back as 2002.My questions are:1. Is there still a plan to make ACARS functional?2. If it is, is there an anticipated timeline?3. If it is not, would PMDG be willing to release the necessary code to allow individuals and/or VA's to incorporate 3rd party ACARS programs into the aircraft's existing FMC ACARS page?I know this subject has been beaten to death. I use 8x accellerated mode while flying the 747 during long flights since I don't have the time to sit here and watch it fly. It has a problem in which the engines fluctutate up and down in N1 causing auto throttles to disengage. It will continue even with autothrottles disengaged. It won't do it in 4X mode. I realize I can't fly in any faster mode but the manual suggested at least I could do 8X. Also when It does this the FMC has a message calling out a much lower altitude. Does anyone ever seen this problem? Hopefully someone has a idea.Thanks, John

I have two questions. First, I was just wondering if there is way to modify the current 744s to switch them into ER or ERF models. Is there really much difference besides the increased takeoff weight and the cargo bay fuel tanks anyway? I don't need the extra tanks, just the extra weight to carry more fuel in the tanks I already have.Second, I was looking around at pictures of the 744 flight deck and noticed that the PAX had CRTs and the 744Fs had LCDs. Hey guys. I've been trying to get a nice multi-monitor setup going with the 747 but I keep hitting a really bad FPS drop. I want to have the VC view on a top monitor and the PFD, ND, and MFD from the 2d panel on a lower display. Unfortunately when I do that I get an abysmal 6-7 FPS while if I don't have the windows open I get a nice 22-24 FPS in the VC alone. Anyone seen this and have any recommendations?

Hello all,I've been thinking about getting the 747 for a while and I think I'm reading to pull the trigger and get it. But before I do that, l have a question regarding the license. Right now I'm in the US but later this year I might be moving to Taiwan. Since my pc is on the old side I'll leave it here and build a new one in Taiwan. Would there be any problems with the license if I get the PMDG 747 now and transfer it to my new PC when I'm in Taiwan?Thanks!!

I always see in checklists that the autothrottle is shut off during taxi in. I also can't find any information in the manual on this. My problem is that during approach, the A/T doesn't give me control of the engines. I decided to let the A/T control the engines during final into EGLL once but when I went to flare, the aircraft wouldn't slow or decend. (I decided to risk it and cut the A/T then touched down little more than half way down the rwy. Really wouldn't recommend this to anyone.)Other than that, if I do manage to gain control of the engines by pressing random buttons on the MCP till I win, sometimes the engines will go to full thrust and lock me out anyway. …

I am interested in developing a flight plan that will allow me to use RC for ATC guidance.I see that I can do that by creating the flight plan in FS Build and exporting it to both PMDG and FS 9 format.What confuses me is that there are two sources of AIRAC and SIDSTAR data, one is from NAVDATA [for PMDG products] the other supplied by FS build. looks like the FS Build is a smaller subset of NAVDATA to make matters worse.The data sets apparently are not interchangeable.They use different data sources.So how does one synch the two so that flight plans created in FS Build for PMDG 747 will function in the 747 FMC which has a different database to avoid errors?is this even po…

The PMDG 747-400 is first large scale aircraft that I have had that can take advantage of SIDS & STARS. My flight plan has me landing at KMSP from the northeast and I am assuming that I will be given either 30 right or left. I believe that the correct STARS arrival is EAU8. I know that I can find SIDS and STARS data from either AIRNAV or AOPA. My question is where can I find some reading material that can explain the correct method to choose the correct SID or a STAR chart. It appears that some approaches can use multiple charts.ThanksTom

I wanted to know your opinions.. I mean I have a navigraph account and some credits in there.. but how often do you update your FMC with the new cycle? I mean at 20 credits a go.. it's not all that cheap really and I wonder sometimes if it ever makes a difference to my flying at all..Can someone enlighten me.. ? I have a strange problem with the FMC on the 737NG 600-900. I am un a ble to use the . 0 +/- keys along the bottom of the number pad on the FMC. No matter how far below those keys I go it still has 7,8, or 9. Now in all fairness I dont fly the 737ng as much as I used to but I cant recall having this problem before. If anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear them.ThanksAndrew

Hi, Have recently purchased PMDG 747-400 to add to my 737 NG collection. All is well other then getting to grips with the FMC. How do I transfer a 'Company Route' (apparently there's 350 of them) from the Directory : 'Simulator/PMDG/Flightplans' into my FMC AND; where do I find that Directory to do so? I can't find it anywhere!! Thanks Marty:-(
