Hello,I have changed my computer, and noticed that FPS are very strange on the 747 pax and freight.When the 747 is loaded, it comes with all ready for flight, almost. In this case in VC mode my FPS are at 17 to 23.8, locked at 24 almost everywhere on earth and with a lot of addon scenery.Now if I load a flight, a saved panel state (a one that was saved verylong time ago while FS was installed on another rig), where the 3 INS have to be aligned, then, when aligned, the FPS in VC mode will not go over 7, and in 2D I will bearly go over 15.Does any one have an idea?ThanksCyrille de LattreAsus P5B deluxe WIFI/PI V 3 Ghz/2 Giga DDRAM PC566Nvidia 7600 GT 256 Meg PCIeWin XP SP2…

It's already one month since I bought and installed the PMDG-747.And this is only to say that she has exceeded all expectations I had. It is just the best, the most complete and impressive aircraft I have ever flown in FS9. Congratulations to the PMDG team !I am not an expert aircraft painter, but I always like to give a personal touch to the planes I fly. Here I share with you my modification of the PMDG livery. Today when I was flying the 744 into the ocean using V/Sthe radio altitude thingamobob turned into a strange spike wheelwith the radio altitude displayed in the center.Take a look:http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/5350/untitledro2.pngThis function was not mentioned in the large .pdf manuals that came with the PMDG 744. Kudos to PMDG for fidelity, so I'm just wondering if this isn't an isolated case, then are there other real world Boeing 747-400 functions that have been modeled in the PMDG 744 thatare not mentioned in the manuals? If so what are they and how can I duplicate them/ ie get into a predicament where they show up?Thanks,David

I installed something, cannot say what since I installed quite a few things since I last flew the 738 and it screwed up my sounds for this aircraft. Question now is how do I reinstall the sounds for the 738 without having to reinstalling everything again? The installation sequence as I understand it is, 738 and then the 744. Now to reinstall all of those with all my liveries will be a logistical nightmare so if there is any other way of doing it I would really appreciate some tips FRED

Guys,I have sent three e-mails to support re this problem but have had no response yet and would like to know if anybody else has the problem.I have downloaded the 747 package. I have no problems vailidating the product, but , as soon as I have acceoted the user agreement and click on next I get a warning that "Cannot continue with install - you do no have flight simulator installed". Now obviously it is installed and I have had no problems with any other download. It will not allow me to browse for another instalation path, in fact it then freezes. I click on "OK" but apart from that anoying MS warning ding, it will do nothing else. I cannot even turn the computer off. I…

I appear only capable of logging into PMDG forum/support from any other PC than my main PC which is home to FSX and other FS software. I have no idea why I cannot post to the PMDG forum, since I can gain network access to AVSIM using my account rds_mcleod and using the P/W you are familiar with. However, when I try to post to PMDG BOINK! I am forced to re-register?So I have a second account setup, but that still doesn't answer the problem. Can someone advise me how to install the NG after the 747?I seem to remember something about removing the pmdg options.dll so it can be done and afterwards replacing it?

AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans or NavData libraries. This is a major update to the KBWI procedures that have been included in my collections, which includes arrival and departure routing for use in lieu of ATC vectors. I've also added the non-published arrival from MXE VOR (MXE V378 BAL) that seems to be used by all arrivals from the Northeast. All FAA Preferred Route departures are included, since the only two published DPs are for Northeast-bound flights (the government has got to have an interesting reason for only publishing departures to the NE and only publishing arrivals from all other directions). Hello fellow pilots,How can I program the FMC to enable me to practice and perform accurate circuits manually or using the appropriate flying aids - lets say at EGNX (East Midlands, UK) for example?I want to practice precise takeoffs and landings in all crosswind and weather variables and enable the Queen to suffer some major failures upon rotating etc etc .If someone would kindly help me out, I would appreciate it, before Christmas I'm sure I saw something to do with this in the forum, but I can't find it for the life of me.Many thanks in anticipation...Regards Pablo

I wonder if anyone can kindly assist me in what graphics card I can purchase for fs9. I just wanted to warn any of our customers who might be getting Vista today or tomorrow - MS has changed the way upgrade versions work and you are no longer allowed to perform a clean install from an upgrade key. You now need to have XP installed and activated and then run an upgrade install of Vista. Most power users know that upgrade installs are asking for all kinds of trouble, so this basically leaves us with having to purchase the full version to be able to clean install. Hi,I just wanted to write a note of thanks to PMDG.My brilliant family clubbed together and got me an session on a Virgin Atlantic 747 sim near Gatwick.I just wanted to write down my experiences before they became clouded but also to let others know just how good the PMDG sim is.
