OK - haven't flown since before Xmas and since then I had a Video Card failure with consequent replacement.Now, I load the 737 and it is very very slow loading the database of ruways etc. When it does load everything works OK but once on the runway and lined up visually the FMC shows something completely different - the display is at a 17 - 20 degree cross angle.I take off, select the AP and follow instructions (RCv4) to the nav plan line displayed on the FMC. When I engage LNAV the aircraft starts to wander off course until it shows a Xtrack deviation of between 2.5 and 4.6nm - settles on a heading direction of 118 degs (in this example) when the correct nav path is 135 …

Hi to all, I've tried a long haul flight via VATSIM using Jepp WX not from VATSIM. However, for shorter trips such as 3 hrs. I could complete without any system errors. I was on a flight from Seoul to New York. but about 7hrs in flight with a system warning sound the monitor just went black and then I hear the eng running and all different kind of warnings from PMDG e.g. bank angle, stall etc. Or it sometimes just restart the whole computer when I tried to click on the PMDG menu using Alt key during PMDG is loaded in MSFS. I am trying to enter flightplan NAT waypoints. I am looking at the FMC manual p 12-30 for proper format:N51W020 etc.When I enter it I get message, not in database. In fact any I try are not in the database.I am using AIRAC 0609. I must be doing something wrong and would appreciate some help.Thanks,Greg

Hi,Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, I wasn't able to locate a previous posting. I've been flying the PMDG737 600/700 since the CD version first hit the shelves, and something has always bothered me about it. If I pause FS2004, let's say for 2 hours, the time on the clock, GMT and elapsed time, will jump ahead the amount of time that the simulator was paused. As a result, I can't accurately track my flight times unless I never pause the sim. A small thing, perhaps, but still annoys me. Is there anything I can change so that the time on the simulator pauses when the simulator is paused?Overall, I still love the program!

Im not nearly as familiar with the simulation products out there as Im sure many of you are,I wonder, are there any other products that have an FMC model anywhere near to similar as the excellent FMC the PDMG have on their planes?ThanksMike

Is it just me or is this route barking? I am trying to fly my PMDG 74F from EGNX to KJFK I decided to plan my own route in Flight Sim Commander using the latest online weather. The route that it gave me to put it kindly is just odd...... I would start in the UK route via the equator and then proceed almost directly north back up to KJFK. I then tried to use ROUTEFINDER to get a route, and that gave me the same routing. Now correct me if I am wrong, the most direct route between these airports is not going to be via the equator. I am having a problem during ILS approaches. About 4 miles from the landing, I turn off the autopilot to make a manual landing and the aircraft nose pitches up and the speed increases. I have to force the nose down to complete the landing. I thought that the autopilot would trim the aircraft for the approach and by switching the autopilot off, the settings would still be the same.In the real world, would turning off the autopilot on approach cause the nose to pitch up? Is there a fix for this PMDG FS aircraft?ThanksDwight

Hello out there,Whenever I enter a new flight plan into the FMS, it appears that the ND display doesn't seem to show the correct aspect of the new flight plan, ie its upside down etc, also the tracking at the top of the display seems to show no heading or its it says 'track' or its stuck at 359 degrees. Has any one come across this before? If so what is the remedy. Id be grateful for any help,this is very annoying!Sincerelyianzee

Yesterday I was flying a transatlantic route KJFK - EGLL. I had set everything up using the PMDG load editor and correct fuel etc At first I had some probs climbing to my CRZ of FL370. I reached about 35,000 and then it just refused to climb any further. Then I started to gradually lose airspeed. The autothrottle seemed to be trying to compensate, but even with 106% N1, and EPR going off the scale, the plane gradually lost speed. I disengaged the autothrottle, but still could not regain airspeed. BTW, I use AS6 which was reading a tailwind of over 100kts at the time. Any ideas ?Andrew

Hi, Queries that I have concerning PMDG's 747 FMC and Radio Panel. (1) I'm told that I can transport FSBuild2 routes to the 747's FMC using my listed 737 facility. (PMDG 747 is not listed) How do I transfer a route from one aircraft to the other and can I save it in the 747 FMC ? (2) I like to use IFR prcedures for landing my 737. As there are no Nav settings in the 747 COMS to tune into a respective ILS, am I unable to do so with this aircraft? Thanks Mart

Since many of my flights are long-haul flights, I put in the wind information for each waypoint so I don't end up running out of fuel. At the same time, I don't want to have to dump fuel to make landing weight either. The problem is that I wanted to fly from London to Hong Kong but I would have over 100 waypoints. I don't want to spend several hours on the ground putting in the wind informaion. I also don't want to put in half the information on the ground and fill in the rest in flight just to find out that I need more (or less) fuel.Aside from making a shorter flight plan, is there an easier/faster way to put in the wind information? My computer crashes to the blue screen "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area" when I'm in the PMDG 744 cockpit. It doesn't happen under any other FS useage (to include Level-D). The frequency of the crash is anywhere between immidiate to 10 minutes after the panel loads.Very pertinent is that after PMDG 744 install, my secondary display stops working when PMDG 744 initiates its files during FS startup. However, if I reduce my resolution from 1920x1200 to 1280x1024, my secondary display works again. I have a few annoying problems that occur all the time, they are as follows, any strategies or fixes to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated.1. I wanted to do a small direct flight to a neighboring country, I can enter the ICAO codes into the ORGN and the DEST field but when I try to set the "TO" in the route page to something like OMDB, it says route discontinued at the top and there isn't a direct path leading to the OMDB airport in the main LCD display?
