I have a 2 monitors and have not used both in fs before. however i would like to use it now....I have all the PMDG installed 737's and 744. iam trying to use the 737.Main Panel in Monitor 1 and Overhead in Monitor 2.i check the multimonotor box in the memu and monitor 2 goes black. i try to drag the over head into that window and i goes from window 1 but it does not show up in monitor 2.monitor 2 is above monitor 1 in the setup screen.Any Ideas how to fix this?Many Thanks

I want to firstly apologize if this topic has been brought up before. I could not find it anywhere.I purchased the PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies I believe in 2006. This was my first Pay-Ware aircraft. After installing it I was not accustomed to FMC and began to study the notes. I fly FS9 in Windows Mode. Shortly after I installed the 747, I noticed that the top Menu of FS9 would disappear and trying to right click the mouse would not work to try and get it back. Most of the time this issue would happen on descent or final but it has happened on other occasions. I eventually decided to just uninstall PMDG 747 and do without it. Hello everybodyYesterday, I had fun with the PMDG 747-400 until surroundings of afternoon. I made the flight between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Then, I had the unhappiness to update the AIRACS data. Now, I have an enormous problem with PMDG 747-400 and 747-400F. It is impossible to me to choose a 747-400 or 747-400F. Routes intra Europe as well as ex Europe to are made available as soon as a real world flight plan has been filed by the airline(s). Seems pretty accurate as far as I can see. I checked a couple of routes ex EDDF to the far east, all of them are spot on. Do not have the right connections to the airlines flying to Africa / Middle East but someone maybe could check for their accuracy too. Hi thereMy apologies if this has come up before.Given the otherwise superb quality of the 744X VC it seems a bit odd to me that the quality of the various standby gauges is so "low". Is there something that can be done to fix this issue? I am running 1680x1050 widescreen - maybe that is stretching them or something? This was posted at another forum I frequent and I thought it was superb-Written by Will Tidmarsh (a 744 2nd Officer and VATPAC founder) on the YSSY messageboard regarding a recent B744 RTO at KLAX I arrived in LAX the day after this happened, and naturally crew there with abuzz with discussion of the event, etc. By all accounts it was nothing short of a textbook Rejected Take Off by both pilots and cabin crew. How about a PMDG version of the King with the Collins Pro Line 21 glass cockpits. Looks like you can even get them with FMC's in the center console which can been seen in the last link by panning down in the virtual cockpit. I have installed the FSX SDKs from my DVD and updated them with the 1A and 2 versions. I believe that this should add a Tools menu item to the main FSX screen so that I can access the kits. This has not happened.Have I missed something obvious that would give me the menu item?Regards, Richard

first of all i would like to say i love this product. probably the best flight sim addon out there. but lately ive been having trouble trying to get the extended downloaded version of the 747 and the 747F.i bought these planes a few years ago and recently i had to reboot my computer. about 2 months ago i bought the extended download service for both planes and sent the email to retrieve the url. but i got no responce and no url update. i thought for some reason it was a fluke, so i bought the extended url's again a few weeks ago. i still havent heard back from PMDG for the updates. this has become very annoying because i had to place an extended leave of absence for my VA…

Hi, after searching the forums I cant find a clear answer to my problem so am wondering if any one here can help ?Have installed V2.1 9Dragons VHHX and added the necessary lines to the nav data of the Queen.However when I establish on the localiser for the IGS13 approach the magenta line takes me slightly to the right hand side of the right hand red marker and does not line me up on the white turn markers.Obviously you have to hand fly the last part of the approach but I have to disconnect the auto pilot early and correct my approach and fly quite a distance to the left of the localiser line on the FMC making a difficult approach even harder !Any help on this would be gra…

hey guys, my ch yoke, pedals and throttle quadrent came a few days ago, all is great excpet that the throttle quad doesnt work well, its too sensitive, all the axis keep screwing up, its imposible to control it precisely and taxi is impossible. i was wondering if anyone who has experience with these products could help me. iv tried the sensitivity,deadzone & disbabled a few axis.Control Manager is still confusing i still cant get mapped mode to show up... Hi.I am a big fan of aviation and I love my FS2004.But I have one problem that keeps me unhappy :(About month ago I bought a Saitek Pro Yoke System.I really like it, but after I started to use it I found one problem with 4engine aircraft(PSS 340, PMDG 747) - I can only control two out of four engines.The strange thing is that everything works fine with Wilco 340.Please help me.This problem really keeps me sad :(

Hello I am having problems with my Mcp pro I contacted GO FLight abou this issue and they told me to send the MCP to them to update the firmware after it was updates with the latest firmwareI still have the problem.My problem is that if for example am at 15000 feet and switching over to 20000 feet am at lets say 16000 and then it goes back to 15000 this only happens with PMDG aircraft Leveld 767 works withno problems.Thank You in advance

HelloI finally splashed out and bought a new computer recently and am having fun reinstalling everything for FS. Today I reinstalled all my PMDG products (737, 747-400 and 747-400F). I installed them in that order. Last of all is the sound update.The sound update seems to complete OK, but I am positive the sounds are unchanged. The easiest way I've found to check is to cycle the seatbelt signs. I'm sure the sound is the "old" sound.A possible complicating factor is that I've installed FS9 on Vista. I ran the update as Administrator and didn't seem to encounter any problems. Is there a way to check if the sound update has been applied? e.g. a date stamp on some of …

Greetings all,I have a few questions about the 747-400X. I couldn't find the answers in the manual, so I'll let the dedicated forum readers provide them. 1) How do you adjust the clocks? I'm talking about the chrono clock pop-up, and also the UTC time in the FMC. I tried to change them to reflect the actual time, but couldn't figure out how to do it.2) Where exactly do I find the readout for oxygen quantity and pressure? I flew a NATS track last night KJFK-EGLL and while enroute I read the AOM on Offset, and googled NATS SLOP to give it a try. Goodness! The 747X banked 30-deg to turn into a 2 nm offset.Now I only use HDG SEL to change track, along with using VS during step climbs.What do the real world systems do? Are they really designed to respond so abruptly?

I fly almost exclusively online and have rarely ventured out in the FSX version of the 744. Primarily because whenever I do go into FSX and fly online, I get a very strange acting aircraft in the 744. I use FSCopilot or FSInn for FSX online flying and the 744 always either turns too much, loses too much speed by climbing erratically or deviates from the flight plan. I tried an uninstall and reinstall and still the problem persists. Then I decided to fly the ITVV 747 flight while the DVD was in the computer so I could compare the realism. I have a multi monitor setup and was flying on the main monitor and watching on the 2nd monitor. (very nice comparisons by the way …
