I run the 744 on FS9 on my rig with Triplehead2Go and have dozens of saved situations in the 2D and 3D cockpit. Prior to the patch, all situations ran normally. Now I find that when I load VC situations, if I click to bring up the FMC in windowed mode, the FMC loads but it loads in an entire window of its own with additional cockpit textures. It is a kind of overlay on top of the current VC I am flying in. It's most bizarre!I also find that in some situations if I just even mouse over any clickable part of the VC, that causes a sort of additional overlay of cockpit textures from a different perspective. I hope you guys don't mind me posting this but I wanted to share a short flight I made around Northern Ireland in my new 747-400X.I get smooth frame rates and I'm very pleased with the videos content and editing.The flight is in two parts with part one showing systems being brought online (there are a couple of minor procedure errors I realise), pushback, start, taxi and takeoff and the second part is a quick flypast the Mountains of Mourne before returning up the east coast of Ireland, across Belfast Lough before turning to capture the localiser of ILS Runway 25 of Aldergrove (Belfast) International Airport.I hope you all enjoy it - turn your speakers up too ;-)http://ww…

I"ve recently bought a new comptuer and re-installed everything including the PMDG744 for FS9. The newest update and sound updtae has already been installed. However, I discovered that when I"m airbone, the 2D Cockpit is having a sound problem. The sound of wind/engines heard is very abnormal. I dont' know how to describe it, but it's like the sound 'chocking' or 'lag'. In VC or Spot plane view there's no such a problem. I'm using the same 5:1 speaker as before and a brand new motherboard with audio function, so I'm quite sure it's not a hardware problem. Is it the newest service pack that caused the problem? Or did I did something wrong in the installation? Thank you.

One of the questions I got on one of my youtube videos was, why does the slats retract when the reversers are engaged, then return back to their previous position when disengaged? I started wondering myself, so I thought I'd ask about it here! I presume it has something to do with the airflow of the reversers, but I'm not sure.Thanks

I am using a CH Flight Sim Yoke and when flying the B737NG, if I accidentally touch my yoke the AP disconnects. It seems very sensitive against the B744. Where can I disable or reduce this from happening.ThanksDon Fraser

Hi all,AFter installing v 2.10 for FSX.I still have the same problem with autobrakes and rudder pedals(saitek).Also reverse and spoilers don't deploy in spot view altough I have the REV indication on EICAS???The only thing that this update has fixed for me is the CTD with freighter version.Can you help me on thisRegardsYves

The flight plan I build in either FS Build which includes T/C and T/D does not show this in the Nav Display after the FMC is programmed.Help/suggestions please. Thanx.

i have the latest patch version installed some of these issues were pre existing others only after the patchpre existing1. when flying in heading select if i make adjustment during the turn to the heading via the hdg delect it has a nast effect on the smoothness of the turn causing the aircraft to judder and stutter in its banking , if the adjustment is being made before the aircraft has reached it full bank angle then it almost stops banking untill i released the hdg select then smooth and the full angle of banking opperation is resumed , try it you will see 2. unable to enter hdg select once land three is active on the approach I dont know if this is airline specific…

although i have looked through my manual and found nothing exact, i would appreciate some help regarding the vzf speed in order to perform a monitored approach using fs2crew. I have posted this question in the fs2crew forum but no answers are available at present in relation to where the information is held.So, i plain and simple terms, where will i find the zero flaps manouvering speed, either in the manual or referenced within the cockpit environment. Hello,i have a question. The german puplisher www.aerosoft.de got the box Version of the PMDG 747X since a few days. In the box version there is a german handbook, very cool! But my problem is, i bought the 747x since it has released, with your online shop. And in the download version, there is no german handbook. Hi,I just wanted to ask about the sun light shining through the windows on the 747. I've noticed the sun shines through the cockpit windows but not the rest of the aeroplane windows. I am having probs with the FMC....when I enter a flightplan from say Perth,(YPPH)-Adelaide,(YPAD) or anywhere else for that matter, the FMC tells me the flight is "not in the data base".I have downloaded the latest airac cycle 08/05 and the FMC shows that as being installed.Where have I gone wrong... Hi all. Ever since i purchased Track IR-PRO i have noticed something incomplete with the 737. Im not sure if this has been mentioned before, but i couldnt find it. Ok, when i look over my virtual left shoulder and back at the wings, i can only see the lights. No wings, just lights on these invisible wings! Hi,I just ran through the type rating courses 1-4 with the 747X, and found them superb for getting a better understanding of how to fly this plane. I had a few issues though:1. The save game files (which I know are from the FS9 version) put the plane way over to the left of the runway and on a slightly wrong heading, so I either had to use slew mode to move it (I wasn't sure if this would mess up the IRS?) or steer back onto the centerline on the takeoff roll.2. The saves all started in 2D cockpit mode, and when I switched to VC they had a crazy zoom level and I had to press '-' 7 times to get it back to 60%.3. Dear all,After I installed 747-400X latest version 2.10 I have suddenly a lot of 'out of memory' With such a plane you can only fly to the bigger airports with some activity/scenery load. Hello,I have a serious problem! When I fill a route and the Perf pages and fill the flaps for t/o the FMC won't show any V-speeds. If I hop to the Approach page the Vref is around 285KTS! I saw this posted a long time ago and have tried in vain to locate it so I apologize. But, is it possible to make it so that when I start new flight with the 744X it starts as cold and dark instead of all ready to go with the engines running?The only way I can start a new flight is to open the saved cold and dark scenario, change the date/time, then change the location...and 50% of the time, my FS crashes in trying to do this.Thanks
