Hello,I just reinstalled my Flight Simulator and got two curious crashes.One on final at LFML 31R, when I was very close to the ground (I disabled crashes with ground).I got another crash at take-off from rwy 14L at LFBO which was really curious and not happened the second time I flew the same take-off...Crashes on buildings are disabled. Constraint and ground crashes are activated.Have you any clue about what can cause these crashes I never got before?Regards.

Hello,I am willig to autoland with PMDG 737 and 747 without programming the FMC.... Once I enter the NAV1 frequency and the course heading of the runway, I am pressing the APP button once I have the runway in sight (around 2000ft), then once the aircraft intercept the runway scope, it starts heading in the right direction but won't always descent and land by itself.... the APP often switch off by itself..... If anyone could give the proper procedure ...Thank you so much,Cassis

I have a problem with FS9 and the localiser alignment. When I enter the ILS and press APP and LOC, the aircraft flies down the centreline about 50ft off to the side. The needle is also off to the side. The aircraft will adjust to hold the needle a little off centre resulting in an autoland on the grass. It used to work but I am not sure when this problem started. I don't play with AFCADs, I'm not sure what they are! I searched many forums and found a few suggestions which I have tried with no luck. I re-installed the 747, I also replaced a files which was mentioned a few times (mvgrtv.? or something like that?).I could re-install FS9 but with UT, AS, Global mesh et…

Hallo,i make my fuel planning for the 744 with the "PMDG 744 Cruise and Fuel Planning Manual" (747-400 AOM).Now i want to fly the Freighter and i want to now, is there a difference between the 744 AOM and the 744F AOM, special for fuel planning?If yes, could you publish a 747F AOM?Thanks for your help! Hi!I am new to this and have FSX that I'm running on a Windows Vista machine.I have recently purchased the PMDG 747-400 for FSX and also FSCrew2 for PMDG. My problem is that I am currently experiencing problems when I'm trying to taxi to the runway as my joystick will not respond.Everytime I am taxing, I fail to control my aircraft (I'm using a Logitech Wingman Attack2 joystick). The aircraft will always turn to the left and will not respond to the joystick. It is my belief that my joystick is properly calibrated (it will work properly with none PMDG aircraft), and I have the latest drivers installed for the joystick.Please help! Still flying the superb B744 in FS9, but every few minutes the landing gears retract and then go up again. I have not had this problem until recently.Greatly appreciate any idea's as to how to stop this from happening.Best Regards,Chris

Hello All, When my B747-400X is parked near a terminal all views go white. If I slew up above 2000ft where the buildings are not in sight the views return. The cockpit interior and all gauges remain but the scenery blanks out. Please help.Regards,Stephen.

Hello there,I bought the 747 yesterday and installed it on my FS9 fresh new installation. The first installer created correctly every icons but not the 747-400F one. (FS2004 / Vista)I had to create manually some links.With my random "crashes" (FS "CRASH" on ground / buildings, not CTD) I just posted few minutes ago, this make to strange issues.Regards.

I was checking out the PMDG web site and read about the fsx.cfg file add to lines to make the sim run better. I have FSX with the Acceleration pack installed. I just ordered 747x. I just ordered 747X for FSX. I have the Acceleration expansion pack installed. The game runs ok with medium stttings. 20+ FPS. I run Windows XP. Do I have any worries? My machine is ok and I am upgrading the CPU soon to a high end set-up.

Captains,I've just been privy late tonight to watching a good chunk of Angle of Attack's training DVD for our 747 and I must say I'm blown away by Chris Palmer's work on this.I really think this is going to be the definitive training and tutorial aid for our aircraft. The production value is just great - ridiculously cool animations and split screen type stuff, great readable graphics etc. All the procedures you need to know to fly the plane realistically are demonstrated live, so you get a much better feel for what to do than you would just reading text instructions.Keep an eye out for the release - http://www.flyaoamedia.com

Hi,Something i've always wondered.... When loading cargo for the 747X PAX aircraft using the load manager - does it matter *where* it is loaded on the aircraft? (ie. which boxes) Or is this just a pictorial display of how *much* cargo is loaded and the load manager automatically positions the CofG?Many ThanksAdam

Hello all first post on the forums for me :)searched the forum for my problem but havent found a solution...my problem is as followsusing the PMDG 744 and -400F version 1.20 for FS9 BEFORE the latest patch there was an option in the pmdgoptions.dll to permanently turn on external/ground power but AFTER i installed the patch to version 1.20 that feature disapeard from the menue somehow...so my question is: is there a way i can still turn on external power? or is there a way to get that option back into the options menue?thanks in advance and greetings from germanyTobi

Hello PMDGI have a problem with the 744X. Here is the detail with problem report from MS Vista 64bit with SP1.My 744x is 2.1(with the latest SP)It seemed to be a sound problem. This happened after a long time flight(Not happened during loading the plane), usually during the final approach, like when I disconnect the A/T or A/P. I had some issues with FS9 and had to uninstall everything including FS9.When I started installing FS9 whent fine, Pmdg 737 500/700 and 800/900 went fine. The problem starts with the PMDG 747. Wheh I try loading the 747 I get an error that says version 1.2 already installed. Uninstall version 1.2 to load PMDG747.How do you uninstall 1.2. it does not show on add or remove programs.Thank You,JimKDAB

Hello,Just a quich question, as Robert shared the team plans for FSX. WHat is going to happen with Engravity CDU drivers. When the "new" 744 is released for FSX the drivers are going to be updated as well?Chris

I'm just wondering if there is a way to calculate the Max CRZ altitude or a program that will do it for me instead of letting the FMC figure it out, then tell me it's set too high. This is in regards to the 747 for FSX.Sometimes I reset it to the FMC's requested level, then it will tell me this is too high and I have to reset it again.Thanks for the help.
