Just a small question:I noticed that no(?) FS Sim Add-on - also not the new PMDG-MD11 - is able to simulate the weather-radar functions on the CRTs:Is there a special reason that it is not possible to do so in FS? As a "only-user" (and not developer) I would have assumed that simulating the TCAS with warning indications of other aircrafts in the vicinity is much more diffult than implementing the WX-radar...(?)Many thanks! :)KRSusan

Hi Folks.I am having difficulty in uninstalling PMDG Products from my PC.When I go to the uninstall section of the control panel and click on uninstall 747,I get a message which says the path and drive cannot be found or is not ready. On this message is the drive letter,which in this case shows as Drive I. I do not have a drive I installed only C and E. My Computer shows a drive I but there is no physical drive I installed. Any one know how to get around this problem? This problem also applies to other Aircraft products too. Have I inadvertently installed these products to drive I when I installed the products?Thanks.John.

HelloBecause of many Problems with installed Addons in FSX i had to Install the FSX occasional PMDG MD11 , again. And that i think 5 Times. Now at the last installation of my FSX and occasional the PMDG MD 11, said the ProgrammDirector of the software PMDG MD 11 , your Order ID has Expired to Validate this Programm.Please Contact Costumer Support. I am very intrested in purchasing the MD-11 for Flight Simulator 9, and I have a question. It is almost impossible for me to switch to FSX (like 95.5% of serious flight simulation users). We all know how demanding FSX is and there is currently no equiptment to move the simulation smoothly, it's simply not available. In fact I went to the giant US electronics Store in the US (where they can build the computer you want, if money is not a problem), and I tested a $6,000 computer they built for FSX. Well, I tested FSX (with no add-ons...just default scenry and airplanes), and guess what? The frame-rates were no where smooth-- very, poor. (Imagine $6,000 computer with the be…

HiI remember one of the WIKI pages showing what a healthy 747X dll.xml entry should look like. What does the equivalent entry look like for the MD11? I thought, rather than re-installing all my other addons (AND the MD11) to see which is the "offending" one I should just create/modify the dll.xml directly. Thanks. Hello everyone. I have just done an hard disk format. I reinstalled everything but now the problem is that when I fly my aircraft (whatever, PMDG MD11, ERJ 190, Fokker 100) the simulator freezes. This happes always during cruise, when I am almost ready to start descend. For example I open the CDU window to make some changes and it freezes, or, sometimes it freezes without any action by me. This behavior is vey frustrating but I do not know really what road take to solve the problem...any ideas? Maybe some settings in FSX or in FSUIPC? Is there a limit of the number of installs / activations I can make?2. Is the product activation linked to the hardware configuration of the computer? I am having trouble entering the correct values on the FMS fuel initializaton page. I take the values directly from the MD-11 load manager. I click on LSK1R to enter the value stated and then manually enter the ZFW, TOCG and ZFWCG. I keep getting a message saying either or both the ZFWCG and TOCG are wrong. This does not allow me to confirm my V Speeds on the TO/APP page.What am I doing wrong?By the way, I love the MD-11 sim. Great work and worth the wait.

Hi friends,I just installed the pmdg 737 NG + 700/800 pack including all updates.But now my fs9 won't start anymore. I only get the spash screen and it quits. When i delete the fs9.cfg file it will start bu all my settings are gone.Anyone an idea to fix this with all my setting still available?thanks

Hi Guys,I have tried to disconnect ATS as desrcibed in the manual but for me this doesn't seem to work.What happens:Manual: ATS disconnect switches on thrust levers 1+3Result: Thrust levers go to full power, FADEC engine mode is activating (PW), ATS is disconnected, PFD ATS off is flashing, after that as long as FADEC mode is active, you can't reconnect the ATS !?Sorry, but this could not been the correct procedure and as described in the manual and AFS override switch does not disengage the ATS (only the AP)Please help me out:How can I disconnect the ATS and the thrust levers hold their position ? HelloFirst, I want to say to the PMDG team "BRAVO" and congratulations for a fantastic MD11 Simulator. It was worth the long wait. I am thourougly enjoying flying it across the globe.The only problem I have is that MD11 cannot handle sim rate of 2 at all. One has to do that once in a while over long long stretches of water or deserts. After a minute or two, the aircraft begins to oscilate up and down slowly and then it becomes violent and nauseating. going back to 1x it stabilizes.In one flight, I was interrupted to do something so I put the sim at 1/2x until I come back. First off, I don't get to fly the 744 very often, so my memory of certain details is probably poor, but most of the time I have a good flight. Yes, I've gone over the TRC and manual again, but with that much reading, I might have missed something.Okay, so last night I flew a PAX flight without any issue whatsoever. Today I loaded up the Cargo version for another short flight and tried twice to get her working after takeoff to no avail. I'm currently having problems with my 737's, where FS9 keeps shuting down and says there isa problem with the panel.dll module. I have also lost my VC panels. So it looks like a re0install for all my 600/700/800 and 900 B737's.Can I just reinstall again as I also have my beautiful queen of the skies in both passenger and freighter versions and I do not want the 737 install over writing anything to do with my Q-O-S!!I thought I had read somewhere, maybe here, that you had to follow a strict install sequence to avoid making problems for your self !!! So I might have to deleate the whole lot and restart again ?? I hope not !

Why is it that the MD11 will often decide that my step climb should be FL355 of FL335 or FL345 instead of rounding it to the nearest 1000?It doesn't do it all the time and I'm just trying to figure this out. Thanks!

In the tutorial flight from Heathrow to Zurich the planned cruise altitude is 37,000 ft while the maximum computed in the Flight Plan is 33,500 ftIn the attachment you'll note that we're way below that level probably due to the messages reading "Lo Speed" and "Pitch"What should I do to deal with the problem please?Cliff

There was a release of a great scenery of UGEE (Yerevan, Armenia) airport.For some reason the airport is not in data base of my PMDG 737-700.Thus, I can't build any plan.What am I supposed to?Regards,NickMoscowRussia

Now I can get them to come up when I run fs9 as administrator but when I do that I lose all of my addon airports it reverts back to the default scenery.

Hello All, Just started having a problem with the screens going black. With the -400 in FS9 after loading the flight the screens go black about a minute after starting the flight. I thought that it might be an electrical problem but it doesn't appear to be, since it doesn't matter if the aircraft is recieving power form the engines or from the APU or ground power. Strangely enough, I don't have this problem with the -400F: it behaves like it always has. Any ideas?Thanks,Lee Marks

I purchased the 737/600/700 and it down loaded ok and I have a few liverys but when you go to pull them up it says I'm getting the Southwest 737-700 but all that comes up is the Northwest livery.....in every catagory. It can say I'm getting the US Airways livery but when you click on it it the Northwest. Also I cannt run my FS9 as administrator to get most of the liverys any idea why that is happening?Capt. Hello.Does it hapen in real life also, that the FMC makes sometimes the beep sound on landing, message coming to the screen is "END OF ROUTE". Sometimes on my PMDG this doesn't happen if I e.g. get vectors to final and don't fly over some waypoint, or when I switch over to VOR LOC-mode and fly past some RNAV-waypoint on the final. I do have all of the missed approach-procedures programmed, with holdings if they're included in the procedure. Does the FMC make the beep in real life, or just display the message? Sometimes its bit annoying to hear that on touchdown :( Thanks,Otto.
