I think this company started in business writing and making manuals. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. So would it not make sense for more people to try an take the time to read more of the manual which came with the plane. Also the manuals have been available for free for months now. PMDG I hope I am not out of place for saying this but more than half of the problems listed are from people who did not even glance most of the manuals supplied by your company. Such as the door was open when I started the SIM up with a short turnaround. Cleary stated in the manual the plane is in a quick state ready for another destination. The door should be open. Hi all,I am an happy owner of the PMDG 747-400 & the MD-11 both for FSX. I really enjoy their products.I own A2A 3D Light Redux package and I installed their 1.2 version as well.I can't make the lights work properly on both the planes so I decided to look around on the web for any answers. It's very hard to get good infos on how to make it work flawlessly. Some say something, some say something else even A2A dosen't have the perfect answer!What I want here is working lights on my PMDG FSX planes and lights that closes when I retract landing gears! Hello guys!In the manual of FMS on page 28 says that the format for entering coordinates is "NXXWXXX" However, I can not insert them in this format. The FMC displays a message "NOT IN DATA BASE." For example: "59N020W", following what the manual says that the format would be "N59W020". Hi all,This is nothing to do with PMDG aircraft as it does it with every single one (including default).. my aircraft seem to be jumping about as if I am touching down while they are stationary at the gate or during slow taxi.. I have purchased the MD-11 for fs9, I have version 9.1 updated, when I run the MD-11 installer, it will start to run then almost immediately stop and give an error message saying that I do not have version 9.1 installed. I have a legal copy of fs9 and I am not using a NO CDCRACK. The #4 disk is installed in the computer. thanks for any help douglas earl

Does anyone know of a program that I can use that will automatically (as much as possible) set the FS9 executable to LARGEMEMORYADDRESSAWARE so I can take advantage of my 64 bit system? Thnx!!!Richard

Hi,it has been talked about it, taxi and runway lights don't work. The bad thing is that they don't work with any other add on I have under FSX. I can see the lights of the MD11 from the outside view but from the cockpit there's a wall of black undefined space. Does anyone have a good advice or know where to find some bitmaps to replace the original ones?Thanks

As much as I love the PMDG MD11 it's also giving me grief and I have to vent a bit. For the second night in a row, some 7 hours into my flight from Europe to KJFK on VATSIM (and it's 03:43 AM here now and going to work in 4 hours) the screen just go black and MSFS does a CTD. And just 30 min left to land... Never seen this type of crash before I installed the MD11. The MD11 is the best aircraft ever released for MSFS, but arghgh!!! &

Alright I did a little search and reading about why I am getting a fuel too cold message while flying. It appears I need to lower my altitude which I do and all is fine. What I want to know how come there is no message with the 747 and the 737 when I fly at the same altitudes. Is this something not modeled in those aircraft or is it just not an issue with those aircraft (more modern?). I just need to know is there another way around this or am I to just continue lowering my altitude if I receive this message.Thanks

Hi,I'm very pleased with the MD-11 for FS9. What an achievement! Congratulations.Thanks for fixing the shimmering on the EIS control panel (ADF button for example).There is still shimmering on the following places, one is the left button on the nr one throttle(red circle on the attachments). Also the heading index strip of the standby horizon is flickering now and then.Another thing I noticed is that when you're in the correct eye position (the viewpoint whichis standard and between the 2 white lines) the control yoke isn'nt in the middle. In my opinion it has to be moved a little to the right. Or is it a little to the left in the real airplaneor did you do it on purpose?…

Fellow Flight simmers, I love the PMDG products. I have purchased and enjoyed several of them. Recently, I purchased and tried to Download the MD 11 from the PMDG website.This was on the morning which the FS9 was available for individual purchase. I have tried repeatedly to Email them as to this matter. The last attempt was rewarded with a message about thier email having some sort of trouble. Is there another way to contact them?? Hi all,There's a mistake with the reg of MD11 with latest Fdx livery : it' s a PW engine but N608FE has GE engines in real life. N620FE for example would be better.Any chance to have an AOM livery who placed an order for MD11 ?? ThanksLaurent Dulac

on the 747x i am using the go flight throttle quadrant...the throttles and reversers work perfectly....but the flap and spoiler levers dontill do anything that i have to to get them to work becuse of how much i love this product!what do i have to do!thanksmichael

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. Firstly really well done on making the new MD-11. I haven't purchased it yet but I will be in the long run! Just wanted to get everybody's attention who were having this issue. Before the update, using random loads, the load manager used to arrange loads such that the ZFWCG would fall within a certain range, some of them i had recorded were as follows:27.4, 22.3, 23.8, 21.7, 21.5, 22.3, 22.5, 22.2, 23.0, 22.2, and she used to be very balanced, however since the update it appears the load manager is putting the loads a bit more forward than what it used to do, ive started seeing ZFWCGs like 18.2, 16.9, 21.1, 19.6, 19.4. I did 2 flights today using random loading but rearrange some cargo to bring the ZFWCG to 26.8 and 24.7, and started getting lower trim settings like what i used…

Hi,wanting to fly the aircraft without FMC I have taken off without priming the Autoflight system (like a CESSNA) and once at 1500 AGL I decided to engage AP by pushing Autoflight but without success. The ATS will work but AP not. I have noted this thing anytime I want to fly without FMC. Is there a particular reason for it?Thanks

Last night I completed a flight from KDEN to KIND (FDX3608). The first waypoint in the procedure is the DEN VOR/DME, using the PLAIN4 DP. Everything was tripled checked prior to take-off and all was setup as I normally do. I engaged AUTOFLIGHT for ATS control and took off like normal. When it came time to engage the AP, I pressed AUTOFLIGHT again, however, immediately the plane started banking towards the DEN VOR. I never engaged NAV mode on the ground or in the air. I quickly pulled the HDG knob which was preset to 351 and not dashed, but the plane kept heading towards the DEN VOR. I even looked at the FMA which displayed HDG mode in white, but no matter how many …
