Hello I own the MD 11 X on a different PC and it works perfectly. Two days ago I purchased the MD 11 for fs9 on a different PC running XP.My problem is that on the FMC once I enter KMDW / TNCM and press the right key with the mouse or any other from and to my whole sims freezes . Hello, I am having a problem with the auto throttles on take off particularly with a FLEX setting. I am not quite sure how to set the flex temp, but I read a post where 50 is a common setting. Once lined up, I push the autoflight button to arm the throttles. Flex 50 is indicating a 1.44 EPR for take off. After advancing the throttles, I hear the 'click' and the autothrottles kick in. However, after the 'takeoff thrust set' is announced my power drops to about 1.23 EPR. Again I don't know if this is because of the Flex setting I have or not, or if this is normal. This has happened everytime I take off regardless of weight. Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Dave S

V2 is set, t/o trim set. toga will engage but 0/flaps is in the spd rest, so at rotation the entire speed tape is flaged in red (overspeed) and the throttles are pulled.I can get lnav and vnav with autothrotte off. During some of my flights with the MD-11, I came by a notofication on the Navigation Display I can't find explained in the manuals.To clarify what I mean, I attached a screenshot:It is the Magenta Navigation Message on the left bottom corner. It says G/I. The only thing I can find is on page INST.30.6 of the manual, but the only modes explained are R NAV, IRS NAV and R/I NAV. There is no G/I NAV.What is the notification I have on the ND ?Thanks,

hello. after a week of flying the great md-11, i got my first OOM the other day. i could here the sounds but the sim was frozen, and then i minimized the sim and saw the message that my system is OOM. and it happened last night when i was doing a long haul flight. those are the only 2 i have had, and i noticed that i started getting them after i got ASA, i dont know if thats the problem. my main concern is, i had the 64 bit version of vista and have 6gb of ram. i thought i would be fairly immune to the OOM isssue? is it normal that i am getting OOM with those specs?adam

I have to ask this is causing me some real problems. I am currently flying from KSAN to EDDF and I am currently working my way North in the USA on my way to Canada and as expected the temp will drop as I move North. I get the fuel temp low -55 deg (Fuel Jet :( at FL310 so I drop down to FL270 and it is at -51 deg. Is this how it works with modern aircraft to have to drop so low to prevent fuel freeze? I have to ask and I really dont know how it works but it seems the aviation industry could have figured away around this or maybe I am missing something here.And to add to this I once again lose engine 1 and 3 for the second time so I am resetting the flight. :( ThanksAndr…

Hi Team,I am thinking of purchasing the MD11 for FSX. The current product I own is the 747 but the boxed version from Aerosoft. My question is related to the download. What does this option for the "Extended download Service" mean? Your product page states that I have the opportunity of downloading a product seven days after the purchase but what if the file is deleted or lost? Is there no more option to download it anymore aside from paying for the "Extended Download Service"? Thank you for you response.RegardsMatthias

Hello PMDG Team and all other painters!I would like to see the LH Cargo without the WOM sticker. LH Cargo have canceld their cooperation with WOM an the newest liveries are without the WOM stickers. I guess this change is not a big think and I have tried to delete the sticker by myself but unfortunely I couldnt open the MD11 with FSRepaint :(The registration could be D-ALCGBest regards,Holger

Reports just coming in here indicate massive job cuts at Microsoft but particularly at the ACES studio. Can anyone confirm this and if true what does this mean for the flight sim community?Gerry

Really Strange, but after I updated my FSX MD11, I now am unable to load up FS9. When I try to load up it tells me I have a bad license for my 767LDS, and a bad PMDG.DLL.....It closes and I cant open it at all. Anyone have any ideas. THIS ONLY HAPPENED AFTER I LOADED THE UPDATE FOR FSX>( i do not own the FS9 Md11)Thanks Capn' OZ Peter Osborn

Here's a strange one. Setup for a flight with the PMDG 737-800 and after loading ....no keyboard. Can't for the life of me figure out what setting this might relate to. No issue with any other aircraft but will admit not having tested other PMDG variants.Thanks in advance of any tips.Dave
