Hello All...I suggest the A300/A310... If PMDG wants to get into Airbust I suggest they start there..."Digital Aviation" did a wonderfull Fokker 100 and the MCDU/FMS in it is EXACTLY the same as the A310...The flight manuals are available on smartcockpit.com for the A300/A310...I spent 2 months reading cover to cover the manuals even printed them. The SSW A310 was ok, yeah I still use it, but man does it ever have some quirks in it....I have always said that if you can master the systems of the early airbus your laughing! The A300/A310 would please both the Freight and Pax Guys & Gals...Just my 2 cents!JB

Is it normal that during cruise that my 747 does not maintain a steady throttle. It keeps overspeeding. Is there a setting that I am overlooking?ThanksJackie

Is there a way to remove the virtual cockpit from the MD-11? I fly 2D panels only, and when in heavy traffic on VATSIM, the sim locks up in the MD-11. The virtual cockpit is just wasted space for me. Any help would be great.- Chris ClaridgeNote: I use the FS9 version.

I Have a question I was told that the LOC dint need the AutoPilot to work but I just tested it out and it wont fly the LOC?

Hello there,After extensive testing, my problem with auto-brakes was generated by my axis assignement to Spoilers leveler trough FSUIPC withou neutral area...Then, when I was moving thrust leveler, I probably hit the spoiler rotary knob and disabled spoilers arming... which make the auto-brakes not working... deploying manually spoilers correctly activate Auto-brakes... there is then no bug there.My apologies for the trouble asking about this issue.Regards.

Hi all.After 3 weeks without a computer due to a mobo crash, I finally got my new computer Tuesday and have now got enough working to install FS9 and FS-X.I tried to install the MD-11 to FS-X tonight as it was already installed before on the old system but no matter what I did, I cannot get it to install.I keep getting "Your user information could not be validated". I'm using the same e-mail and password as before but it will not work.I alos never got the FS9 activation code, but as I was out of action I wasn't overly worried until I got the new system.I've tried on numerous occasions tonight to contact support trough the PMDG website but this is waht happens each and ev…

Could someone give me instructions for how to control things like flaps, gear, autopilot, brakes etc...from a joystick? I see the keymapping function in the pmdg menu but it doesnt recognize joystick presses?this is for the 747-400x thanks,guthrie zuehlke

Hello,I looked over the last 10 pages, couldn't see a topic about this:FS9.I made a (manual) cross wind landing yesterday at KATL and i had even full (left) rudder but nothing happend, only with the nose gear on the tarmac it worked again. With the 73NG no problems.Where am I going wrong?Gr,John

I'm trying to access the PMDG style menu so I can change the 737 PFD to PFD/ND. When I click the 'style' menu on the drop down menu, it takes me to a blank screen. The style menu is there (I can see it for a second when I alt-tab out of the game) but it just shows a black screen. Help?I'm flying the Southwest 737-700 in FS2004.

:( Well after pulling my hair out trying every option,suggestion, and tweaks out there to try and and get the MD11 to run properly without black screens and FSX freezing and crashing I was just about ready to park it in the hanger. I am running a second hard drive dedicated to flight simulation. I am not sure how many times I have deleted and reformatted the drive trying both Windows XP64 and Vista 64 and still no cure all. Today I decided to take the plunge and wiped the drive to install Win7 beta. Hi All,I just purchased a new pc (running vista) and i Installed the PMDG 737NG. at the end of the installer, there was a link to microsoft to downlaod a CDI+ visual fox thing. i clicked the link, but it is dead. now, my 737 is very buggy, and the fmc screen is black with nothing on it. Also, when i go to the display and lcd frame rate tuning options, my FS9 freezes and i hav to close it from the task manager. Is this related to the CDI+ download, n if it is, please provide a working link. help would be greatly appreciated!Peter laux

Hello,I have the PMDG 747-400X purchased through PMDG. I have been getting these black screens recently only in VC mode in the 2D mode I can see everything just fine. Am I doing something wrong? I read that I need to reload a different plane and then reload the pmdg, and this would solve the problem I have tried to do that but it hasn't worked so perhaps I am not doing the procedure correctly. I also read that this could be a validation issue which should not be an issue for me since I purchased the 747-400x legitimately from the PMDG website and have the order number and bank records to prove it.In order to fix this problem I initally did a complete uninstall of the …
