    Has anyone seen this? I'm in the middle of a flight now where the ND shows wind as 341/75, but on the Progress page of the FMS, it shows as 354/075. The latter set of values is also consistent with the display on FSNavigator.I have a full version of FSUIPC, and AS6.5 with GE Pro is also running.The values are in agreement on the 747.Dave Skuback

    Hi there I am having serious probelms connecting to VATSIM.I am using both squawkbox 4 and FSINN and I press connect, connected for a few secs then I get the BSOD (blue screen of death)There arre errors but doesnt say so I am forced to restart my comp.     Hey everyone!I've had the '67 for awhile now but all of a sudden I have been getting a force quit that won't allow me to start flight sim.The messages are:Bad License for B767-300FS2004 will now quitFlight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File: PMDGOption.dllWhat do I need to do to fix this because I need to practice some approaches!

    Hey guys,I did the tutorial flight with the grat MD-11, and now I wanted to try a flight without help, so I prepared a flight from EDDM to EDDH.All worked well until I came into the cockpit to align the IRS. My settings were, that the IRS is after 15 second already aligned. So I put all IRS buttons on and I waited. While doing my FMC entries, came the message: ALING IRS. And when I came at the point where to push the button next to ALIGN IRS* on the INIT page, the LAT and LONG area where emty and if I tried to push ALING IRS*, came the message that I'm not allowed to do it!     Hello allI have assigned 'O' in the drop down menu FS/PMDG/KEYBOARD COMMANDS so obviously when I type 'O' the overhead panel displays. However this is not saved after shutting down. I thought 'O' was the default key for this assignment. I find myself selecting 'T' which quite happily displays the approach panel and then by selecting 'O' opens the overhead. In fact I think all my panel commands are wrong!!!Any ideas welcome. Thank youA.W

    Hello there,I got today into the trouble that people already mentionned before... the MD-11 started to climb to the G/S rather than keeping current FL.I was making a descend, 1800ft with fixed FPA when I was cleared to intercept LLZ. I pushed "APP" button and I was not receiving yet G/S signal. When established on LLZ, I was still in descent to 1800ft and the plane started to climb at the moment I received the G/S signal.I think this is definately an issue...This make me thinking about another thing... if I chose "LOC" only mode, will I be able to set back to full approach mode afterward ? Because I should not intercept GS before LLZ in normal operation.Regards.

    HiI notice strange problem with FMS displaying, and only with NDBs.For example, when I'm on ground and I put for example under REF NAV DATA page WPT IDENT CV, everything looks ok.But when I'm airborne everything is messed up, but not all the time. It looks like some strange characters shows up.Then again, everything normal and back again messed up.And problem is only with displaying NDBs (CV 397 is desired one)I tried to reinstall fonts (LUCON, ARIALN and ARIALNB), but without any success.     I have seen this mentioned in another thread but it was mainly about something else and no one was saying if they new what was causing it. I have at least figured out what is happening on my computer. It seems that any time it is less than full daylight in FS the needles in the Brake Pressure gauge disappear when the INSTR & PED PNL lights are on. I guess this is one for a future patch. I apologize if for starting a new thread if there is already one going on about this specific problem. This is in FS9. I haven't tested it in FSX.

    Greetings,I'm new to this whole flight sim and PCs (mac user) for that matter. I do have quite a bit of experience in transport category jets including quite a bit in the 757/767. I need some advice and help. I have a PMDG 747-400 that I'm getting to know. It has a database that says ATRAC-0609, Aug31-Sept27/06 (I know that it's old). When I initialize it at KSEA I get a message in the scratchpad that says KSEA err:16C rwy unknown. There are no SIDS, STARS or runways on the dep/arr page. I also have a Level D 767-300ER with the exact same database and date. No problem there except that there is no 16C since I believe that runway was built after this database was published…

    Hi, Two questions for you guys.1. If I have any data selected on the NAV display eg: DATA, TRAFFIC, AIRPORTS when I select the TCAS mode the aircraft rightly clears any other data to give me a clear display of the conflicting traffic. However when I return to MAP or PLAN etc I have to re select the information again. I thought this was a little strange but maybe thats how the MD11 engineers decided thats how it should be.     Here's a couple of suggestions that I think would make a few people happy :( if they were implemented with the next patch.- Better handling of wind shifts (even with FSUIPC's "wind smooth" on)- Take-off trim settings (I believe this issue is being addressed) Does anybody have any more suggestions to add to the list?

    :( When i am programming the FMC, i get this strange error "list of forty in use" while trying to enter NAT tracks, it has worked fine but now it keeps telling me that everytime i try to enter any positions, this is the format for eg. N2000.0/W06000.0, then i get this, list of forty in use. To input a flight plan is no problem but any positions are not working :( Did a flight from tncm/eham no problem, went to do eham/cyul and thats where the fun started, so i tried to re-enter the flight from before and i get the same error also, any help would be great (MD-11)

    I am reposting this as I really need some help from someone in the audience who understands the file system on the PMDG MD-11 and windows ops. I have contacted PMDG and the answer was; "It sounds like something wiped the uninstall data from your Windows Registry as the installer most certainly placed it there"No kidding! I can't use, unload, reeninstall the aircraft.   16. 1) Visual feedback on ice, rain and snow conditions. Widows with ice, snow and ice on wings, wipers that actually do something, etc. etc. Realistically loosing control of aircraft if you don't manage to follow anti-ice procedures, I'm not sure if this is modeled already, though... Ice is very dangerous, and it should be that way in the simulator as well.2) A lot of simmers are using a laptop as well as FSX computer. For charts, weather simulations, live atc, etc... It would be nice to have an option on PMDG products to share the workload on an external computer for some of it's modules.Best regards,Mikkel

    I've been looking everywhere for an answer to this but i can't find it anywhere.On the 747-400X, when climbing past 18000 ft (which is every flight) the plane goes haywire, it will never hold a heading, if i put in 100 on the heading select it gets to that but then constantly is turning, wiggling, moving and turning way too steeply. I would really like to use this plane but is pretty much unusable because of this. Am i doing something wrong? or is there something wrong with my airplane?Any help would be greatly appreciated,Joe Schear

    I would like to begin my post by saying I have read and re read the manuals and have done the tutorial flight. On my last two flights I have come in way to high and fast I have had to go around to safely land. My understanding is that the descent down to runway is all pretty much controlled by the FMS. It feels like the plane is diving to get down quick enough and this intern increases speed way beyond what I should be on final.I can micromanage the descent and approach for a nice smooth landing like a boeing but as I understand it this should'nt be necessary with the MD because the FMS is "smarter" not sure what I could be doing wrong?Any advice given is appreciated...…

    I'm having an issue with my aileron's "sticking" in a right bank after the control column is brought back to center. Most importantly:1. This only happens with MD-11 (fs9) -- also tested on PMDG 747 and Level-D 7672. Checked deadzone appropriate via windows driver3. Checked FSUIPC calibration4. Joystick disabled in FS9 and all run through FSUIPCSo, here is what happens. If I deflect ailerons to the right and return control column to center, the yoke in VC still shows a right deflection. Adding left aileron fixes the issue. Interestingly, the external visual model and Config page show NO aileron deflection (i.e. it disagrees from VC yoke), but the plane does roll t…
