Is there a reason sometimes why the PMDG 747 does not always follow the speed restrictions when I set them. It will descend correctly but it will not slow to the speed that I have entered. Any ideas on this issue. ThanksJackie Padilla

Hello there,Just goes trough ENG 2 FADEC FAULT level 1 amber alert and was unable to find it in the QRH in the Alert section even it is listed in Aicraft manual ENG.40.1.Is that normal or just it have been forgotten ?If this an error, can you publish some "eratta" I will print and then put into my fabulous printed QRH ? Hi Guys, just had a minor problem when trying to do a flight to TNCM no runyways at all in the FMC this effected both PMDG 747-400 and the MD-11both FS9 versions. Anyway I changed the TNCM Sids and Star file from a backup that I had from an older Airac and it worked fine.But in one wayi thought it was a shame because the newer TNCM had a lot more information than the earlier one has anyone else had the the same problem?Cheers Greg Bisset YSSY

Hi Folks,my situation is as follows:got a new machine and thought it would work seemless with FSX and PMDG A/Cs but it doesn't do the job like I anticipated it would do.Machine: INTEL Q9650 CORE 2 QUAD Q9650 12M 13338 GB OCZ RAM ( 4 GB Patch installed for FSX)Windows XP Pro 32 bit G-Force GTX 850 with 1 GB RAMP45 Motherboard 2 x 22" TFT MonitorsSituation:Installed FSX and ajusted all the display possibilities real moderate - nothing squeezed to ULTRA High. Ok I've come across a couple of problems that are annoying me. All these have happened for their first time and from a cold and dark state Boeing 744 FS91) when i was taxing the aircraft it was not taxing in a straight line. (there was a small 7 kt wind) but it was going all over the place with the wind and against the wind (i have calabrated my joystick "No Change")2) Auto Pilot would not engage (Auto Throttle would as would flight director)3) L NAV would not engage getting a warning that not on correct course (i think that was the message) however i was directly in front of it. The way the MD-11 EMER PWR switch works looks somehow inconsistent to me.I've attached some numbered screenshots to make the situation clearer. The plane is on ground with external power and air connected. Here the questions:Figure 1 is EMER PWR OFF and the messages as expected. Looks correct to me ;-))Figure 2 shows the situation after moving the EMER PWR switch to ARM: the emer pwr ON light is lit, but there's no battery drain, the symbol has neither load depicted on the synoptic nor is it green. Hi, The issue of being off-set from the LOC on an ILS approach (in the case of both the PMDG 747 and MD-11) was raised here sometime ago. I belive it was solved by a recommendation to run the Flight 1 FS Registry.For me, it worked for a time but it seems to be back one again. I have run the FS Registry a few times to no avail. On all my recent flights, I come in on the GS but I am offset by a fairly large margin on the LOC. I have to take over and land manually.If anyone has experienced this problem crop up again, I would appreciate some help and advice.Thanks,Meekal

Good morning gentlemen,I am trying to purchase an extended download protection service for the 747-400, but everytime I go into the online store and load up my basket when I go to checkout I get a message saying my basket is empty. I've tried it on two different PCs with the same result. I am using the link under SHOP/Extended Download Service when I get the error. Hi all,I just made a custom repaint for MD11. And that's just about as far as I got.I am new to PMDG products and to FSX. Here are the questions I have:1) When I created a logo on tail and I try to save as DXT5 it says there are too many alpha channels. (Not really a PMDG problem, but can you please give me an advice on how to overcome that?)2) Which files to place where? My approach was to make a copy of already installed livery and then overwrite those files that changed. hi when i have set up the fmc for my flight and have included a star for approach i have noticed that in the legs page the initial descent speed is at .81 then down to 10000 its 240 and this speed remains all the way down to about 1,500 this does not give a lot of time for the 737 to slow down,i have looked at the init ref page and with flaps 30 the speed should be about 130 depending on aircraft weight. so as the speed is too fast i either miss the altitude or am too fast to land. so at what distance from the runway should i be configured for landind with speed and flaps set. i thought if you used vnav this would take you all the way down to the runway. …

I downloaded MD11 fs9, 2 days ago and it worked fine.The trouble started at LFPG because everytime I clicked on the SID at LFPG the famous blackscrren appeared with the MS window blaming the pmdg_md11.gau .I tried several other airports with all sorts of manip on the the FMC either on the groung or in flight and it worked as advertised. I flew to LFPG and again no problems. If I just load a FP without any sid fine, if I touch the SID then CTD. To check again I loaded the PMDG 738 and I tried the same routing and SID at LFPG no problem either. I use the Navigraph AIRAC 0902 with windows XP. Does anyone have an interest in PMDG maybe coming out with an MD-10 model? Assuming there wouldn't be a whole lot to do other than on the exterior, I think it would be cool to have. I love the MD-11 and fly exclusively as FDX flights and would love to add an MD-10 to the fleet. Dave S

Just wondering is the NGX for both FSX and FS9 still on track as the next aircraft from PMDG. I see the polls with most everyone hoping for the 777 to become a future product from PMDG (my hope is they'll do the A320 series) but just the same I'd like to see an updated NG series including the BBJ's out the starting block first... :(

Hey guys,I've got a strange problem witht the MD-11:All works well, but after ca. 30 minutes of flight, I can hear a sizzling noise from the speakers, a few minutes later the EICAS gets nearly black, and after again 2 minutes the PC crashes! :( Has anyone got the same problem? Or a solution?Ben
