Would it be possible for someone to do a Wardair Livery for the MD11?I'm pretty sure they really only had DC10s, but it would be close enough for my liking.I tried to attach a photo from Airliners.net but it said that links from there were not permitted.

What does the I/P indication on the Navigation Display of the MD-11 signify?Thanks,Ron Musick

Hi all,I have this problem today when I would like to start my 744.I loaded the cold and dark panel as per normal.After that, I turn on the APU, etc.After APU is ON, I would like to switch my Hyd Pump switch, 1,2,3 to ON and 4 to AUTO as usual.But, I get the message on EICAS "Hyd Press Sys 1'I pull up my lower EICAS and check the hydraulic seems like I have low pressure on system 1. There is no active failure nor any armed one. How could I fix this?Thanks!

This is probably an easy question but before I do anything I want to ask. I would like to move the eye point in the VC a little, basiclly hat down one small bump and "Shift-Enter" twice (it's a personal thing). Any help with this would be great.Ryan Gann

I use PMDG 737 ON fs9 ,when loading the pmdg737 i cannot get the ATC window showing up even if i press the good Key.It works find with other original FS9 aircraftsThanks for your input

I just bought the FS9 MD-11 the other day and the only word that comes to mind is....wow. I installed it, fired up FS, picked the MD-11 and loaded up a flight at LAS thinking of going to ELP. I expected it to be somewhat like the 737NG in that you can hop in, play with some buttons, and off you go. Boy was I wrong. It took me 15 minutes just to figure out how to get the "Door Open" warning off the flight displays. This aircraft is amazing, worth every penny. Just wanted to personally say good job to the entire PMDG production crew, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead with the NGX and future projects (Be sure to take your time developing them, it'll take me quite awhil…

Whether to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous PC's?You get the drift. If you were starting again would you get an Apple of would you stick with a PC? I understand that Apple can use Windows and, presumably, we can therefore use FSX and our PMDG aircraft.So if Apple is better for graphics, as I'm told, why not make the change?Cliff

What are the best reasonably recent current drivers that work best for FSX and PMDG.My system is AMD athlon 64X2 dual core 5200+,with Nvidia 8800GT.I think windows has auto updated my nvidia driver and it does not appear to be working as well as before.Any suggestions welcome.Ron

Flying the tutorial (FS9) today after passing T/C (FL 370 -dialled in the FMC before takeoff) I suddenly had a new FL = 385 showing up on ND. The F-PLN page in the FMC also had FL 385 at the next waypoint. WHY?Roar

Hi,Two strange problems with the MD11, Departing out of Dubai last night everything set up correctly in the MCDU aircraft was climbing out in Profile and the speed would not increase beyond 200 knots in a clean config (aircraft was commanding 200knots) I have done about 20 flights so far with no issues and never seen this happen before.. despite preflight being exactly the same as every other I'm a 99% sure it was me doing something stupid.. Hi guys,Posted in FS9 forum about same problem. When I want to go into pmdg/options in the menu bar in fs9, the screen goes black. I tried pressing esc but nothing happened. As I could'nt do anything from here I pressed the windows key to drop the program into the task bar so I could close it with task manager. As I did this, the PMDG options menu appeared very briefly (split second)before the fs9 program went to the task bar.FS9 is patched to 9.1I have installed in fs9, PMDG 737-800 and 747-400. The Navigraph cycle 0901 sidstar file for LFPG attached is for use with MD11 until the bug that prevents more than 150 DPs is released in next revision.All I have done is delete DPs for flights below 19500 (FL195). All else is by Navigraph.The deleted DPs were FIKOL BAXIR PTV MONOT DORDI. Put the LFPG.txt file in your PMDG/SIDSTARS folder replacing the original.Happy Contrails.

Hello all,I am trying to figure out how to enter airways into the FMC in the 737, 747-400X, & the MD11. I am trying to fly a typical route Airtran uses from KPHL to KMCO. Here is the route (OOD TEBEE HAYDO SBY J79 KATZN J193 WEAVR J121 CHS J79 OMN CWRLD1). I need to know how to enter the airways J193, J121, & J79. I can enter the fixes just fine and am proficent at most other FMC use, but I can figure this out for the life of me. Also, is ther a way to get the temps to plug into the FMC for engine performance? Why since the MD11 update when I fly a red band on the speed tape restricts the aircraft's speed to 320 knots? The red band used to come in around 350 knots with exactly the same aircraft configuration and fuel loads. Why would this be?

I have been trying to enter lat lon for a flight across the Pacific and I was trying to add the way I did it in the 747 and according to the FMS instructions. (3500N 12000W) I put it in N35W120. As I said thats how it goes in in the 747 and according to the instructions but I keep getting an error. Can anyone help me out.Thanks

Guess who!?I've been playing around with some more failures, and I've turned up a few questions.1. Should selecting STANDBY nav on one CDU put the other CDU in standby nav also?2. When in STANDBY NAV mode, the DIR INTC page allows entry of waypoints that are not in the flightplan. This should not be so, since the FMC is unavailable. Can this be corrected?3. HiI don't know why, but I'm getting Invalid tune-tune ILS 109.50 (on MCDU), and yellow crossed IZA 109.50 (on PFD).Strange, because I tuned 109.50 on RCP and set CRS 046.The airport is LDZA ILS05.What is wrong???Also a/c is tracking ILS because I see LOC / GS in green.ThanksHas

Since applying the most recent update to MD-11, the steering with CH pedals during taxi is very erratic. The aircraft randomly turns extreme left then right. It does not seem to track straight. I have tried to calibrate the rudder pedals with no improvement. Your assistance would be very much appreciated. BTW, the PMDG 747-400 seems to work perfectly during taxi using exactly the same equipment.
