Hi, i have a PMDG MD-11 FSX and i have a problem with the flap and slats, when i extend the flaps the outboard flap and slats does not extend can pmdg tech help me solve this problems.... Thanks!!!!ps. I'm posting again because my previous post got deleted.

Gentlemen:I've been a satisfied customer of PMDG since 2005. Recently I'm experiencing "uncommanded roll excursions in LNAV" for both my 747-400 FSX and MD-11 FSX. These excursions occur in LNAV along a programmed route of flight. Angle of bank reaches 22-25 degrees during a left or right roll. I've tried everything I can think of to remedy the problem. Where does PMDG FMC's get airport runway info...is it NavData or from scenery? I'm having some issues with a flight departing NZWP. As I setup the FMC I get the following message after entering NZWP in the position init page:What does "Err at GATES, Line 1" indicate?I clear the message and proceed but when it comes time to enter the departure runway, none of the 6 are recognized ("Not in Database"). So I go to the "Dep/Arr" page and select NZWP dep...and none of the runways are listed?I do have addon scenery for NZWP thus my question RE where the PMDG FMC's get runway info.Thanks

Hi everyone.Has anyone else expereinced the problem I have?? and if they have what did they do to fix the problem..As we know to install PMDG aircraft, we get the message you cannot install until you upgrade to 9.1.. which I did, and then when I tried to install both the 737 Basic package, and the B747-400 Queen of the Skies, warning message on screen, saying that if I was now to install Add On's that will change basic files within FS2004, the Add on will not work... First time I missed this message, installed both aircraft, rebooted computer, and that is what happened FS2004 stop working.. so uninstalled the aircraft grr.. restored computer,. and then attempted to instal…

I'm still having an issue with the MD-11 AP disconnecting on takeoff. I believe I know why it's happening...but not sure exactly how to fix it...at least until I get better at this. It seems to happen every time I push the yoke forward to follow the FD bars and maintain speed. The MD-11 always wants to nose up and lose speed after takeoff, resulting in "protection mode" activating. I'm following the instructions regarding following the FD bars to maintain speed. The problem is I usually have to push too far forward to drop the nose and maintain speed...I believe this is exceeding the LSAS limit and disconnects the AP...but I'm not sure. I wonder if anyone else is having problems with TAT suddenly swinging from a sub-zero temperature to a high positive number, causing a loss of engine power.I can't find any reference to it on this forum.It appears from the attached post that this is happening with the 747 and the MD-11 for users of Hi Fi Simulations Active Sky Advanced, although that may be coincidence.http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=255228Anyone else having this problem? Hi gents,Long time I didn't have a twilight zone problem on my prefered A/C ...I did some flight those days, arriving EIDW, EGCC, EGNM, etc... on my PMDG B737, and each time, I captured the localizer, but I was far left of the runway :( , and I didn't go on the glide. AP just guiding me left from the runway ...I did again the arrival on EGNM with MD11: same thing !FMC was correctly configured, frequency and course set in B737...The only thing I installed recently was the 3D shockwave light thing...One more time I need your help and brains .Regards,Emmanuel Faudais, proud PMDG customer.

I loaded the flight KSFOEDDF ( San Fran to Frankfurt ) into the CDU as explained in theAngleOfAttack video.( using FSX Deluxe and Windows XP )By doing same using the FlightPlan KSFOEGGL I get the error message "Not in database" ( from the CDU )I also notice that there are different files in the Flight Plans.Some with file extension RTE and some with file extension R2File !What are the differences and above all: how do I enter the flight plans in the CDU as I didwith KSFOEDDF ?I appreciate your help.Thank youRobi77

I did a search, but never found a confirmed answer. I was just reading in PC Pilot that PMDG has decided to NOT make the A320. Is this True? If it is, I think it is a smart move since the airsimmer is going to be of the same level. :( Jonathan

Hi.I have the Windows XP with service pack 3 and FS 2004/FS9. I have the 737/600/700 and installed it with no problem.For 4 days now i have tryed to install the PMDG 737/800/900 and the PMDG 747/400 but it will not install Cry.gif .The installer say that it IS installed but i when i open the FS i cant find it,I have uninstalled it and installed it again but still the same.I have the same problem with the PMDG 747/400.There i get up the Following Message.Error0x800C0005Description:The system cannot locate the resource specified.I have turned off all anti virus,Firewalls.AD-Blockers.All that can make a problem installing but still the same. Hi well as everyone knows core I7's are becoming the popular choice for the basis of building a FSX machine but they also may know that without overclocking the processor to over 3.4ghz and up FPS in addons and addon planes drop like a cement block in the water, so my question is and is for pmdg, What kind of Rig/computer setup do you guys on the development and beta teams have? Although you guys may not want to give out this information because i have seen no post on it, it may be benificial so people can start to migrate to FSX and behond with out the worry of spending money and not getting worthy results.Thanks,Shaun.

Just wondering if you can do a flight in the 737-900NG from the US to Hawii. Looking at the closest airport to Hawii with enough runway clearance (in California) that I can take off at, after setting up the FMC and having full tanks the FMC tells me I havn't enough fuel to reach there. Living here in Alaska I know that Alaska Airlines has a 737 that does a flight there (I know they must stop off somewhere before continuing on). I've tried different things with the load of the aircraft but nothing gives me the ability to reach there without running out of fuel. Am I doing something wrong?Chris

Evening all, My load manager won't...erm,....load :( I just get this instead:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\PMDG\MD11_LoadManager.exeThe application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
