PMDG General Forum

When I select 62k T/O thrust, it is shown on the EAD on the thrust limit, but when I increase thrust for takeoff and the autothrottle sets power and t/o clamp the 62k disappears and is replaced by 60k. Am I losing my extra 2000lbs of thrust?

Hello everybody,i have a problem with the eShop. I can't log in anymore.I have an account there. About 2 Hours ago i bought the BAe Jetstream via credit card.Everything is working fine. I got an E-Mail confirming the order and another one with the downloadlink and the Code.Now i use the link and it leads me to the eShop again. I have to login again but my Name and the password is not found in the database. But if it isn't there how could i buy the software before???How can i get in?I tried to receive a new password.They send me the Password but if i use copy and paste its still not known.Harald Grueter

I am looking for someone who can repaint aircraft.I was wondering if any one can repaint the PMDG 737 and PMDG 747-400 & 747-400F in theEastern Airlines livery in the stainless steel/bare metal with the two blue stripes.I know this would be a fictious repaint, but one person did it for the PMDG MD-11 both passenger and cargoand they look awesome.Can anyone point me in the right direction or know someone who might be able to repaint these aircraft for Eastern Airlines livery.Thanks

I've recently started travelling to regions I haven't been before. Perhaps even taking a VERY light 744 to some smaller airports.I have 'TrafficX' installed and keep being surprised by liveries I haven't seen before.Really quite interesting, and something new to do......

How do you all avoid wx (CB's, etc.) on your FMC-equipped aircraft (I am flying the MD-11 right now, but 747, etc same deal)? And I am talking about CB's that pop up along your route during flight, where the unstable area is not predicted before flight, and can thus not plan around the area (which I will do if I know about it...but sometimes CB's will form around you anyway).Do you shut off autopilot, and alter your course to avoid the CB's, or do you actually re-work your flight plan in flight, or do you do something else?

I checked all the different STARS in various programs and have troubles to understand them.The airport Frankfurt,Germany airport was selected with the following results :1) The program FSBuild show the following STARS ( for Frankfurt arrival ) Epin 2W , Edin 25 , Etar 25 , Ged 1W , Ged 25 , PSA 1W , PSA 25, Rudu 1W2) The Angle of Attack Video ( San Fran to Frankfurt ) indicates the following STARS in the FMC: Ged 2W , Ged 3W, Osma 2W, Osma 3E, PSA 3E , PSA 3W, Roli 1E, Roli 1W3) The airport chart of Navigraph nDac 3 show different STARS again.My question is why that difference and above all where can I obtain a complete list of all theSTARS for a Frankfurt Arriva…

Sorry for posting in here but this is one of the most active forums, but could someone with vroute premium open it up to see if it works, mine stopped working all I get is a blank white screen with this message "Incorrect key file for table './vroute_current/sessions.MYI'; try to repair it" and thats it, just wondering if the problem is on my end or there end, I contacted there support but just thought if someone could quickly confirm that there's works.

Hi allI am posting here, asking for some help regarding flight Plan not showing up in the FMC.I recently uninstalled and reinstalled my copy of flight Sim 9. I left all my on stuff in the flight Sim nine folder and went off testing to see if things were working correctly. Everything seemed as normal except for the fact that my PMDG would not load any flight plans in the FMC. The FMC kept saying not in the database when I tried to load plans which were created in FS build. The FS build flight plans are still being exported to the correct folders but they will not load in the FMC. I tried reinstalling the PMDG 737 800 series aircraft, this was a big mistake since I lo…

Would like to get everyone's opinion on a rockin hot computer that will support FSX PMDG add-ons for my new PC. Try to keep your budget around $3000.00 USD. Please include an OS. I'm looking for the best "BANG for my BUCK". Going to computer store is futile do to techs not understanding how hard and taxing FSX add-ons can be on your system. Why is it when I approach YSSY for 16L, the localizer aligns me to the right side of the runway. This doesn't happen with any other runway at any other airport only 16L at YSSY?

Hey guys:I've been rebuilding my flight sim machine and reinstalled all of my PMDG products. Unfortunately, I don't have the latest AIRAC & SID/STAR data. They used to be free from navigraph, but now you have to pay for them. Does anyone know where you can get the last free versions that navigraph pushed out? I know that those are really old ... but they're a lot newer than the ones included with the 737! :( Thanks!Dan

Hi!I want to control my CDU from an external keyboard. Is there any key commands for the line select keys? Or is there any way to define a key commands for them? I have seen the 737kbd.ini and there was a file called SimLibCommandDefines.h. What is this and where is this and how can I access it.ThanksAdam

I used to always use ASA, but now to try and see what is causing my crashing and loss of textures, I have gone to the default downloaded fs weather. Well guess what? The s-turns are back! the only option is to turn off turbulence effects completely via fsuipc. PMDG blamed ASA and their unrealistic exaggeration of turbulence, but it seems the default weather has the same issue. So how can I get the 747X to fly with turbulence enabled?ThanksAlex

Whenever i land with PMDG 737 or any other aircraft, and i disconnect A/P, plane simply wont stay leveled, it will veer to the left or right at around 300 feetJoystick perfectly calibrated, FSUIPCAny suggestions?Jim Kallinen

Is there away to set the default zoom setting in vc like you can with the 2d in the aircraft.cfg? I usually use .7 or .68 zoom.
