Does PMDG have any plans to design the 777 in the near future? Jack

I see a lot of posts here where FS9 users are upset that the newer 737NGX will probably not have an FS9 version done as well, which I can understand since there is already an FS9 version.What I am wondering is why would anyone want another FS9 version since the current one is so good? I don't use FS9 anymore, however I do own the FS9 version of the 737NG and it was my favorite airliner to fly in FS9. If I was still using FS9 why would I want to buy another version of the same plane? I mean the flight deck and cockpit are probably going to look about the same as they did in the older version, so what new features would there be that would make me want to spend another $45 …

I don't know why PMDG don't make PMDG 777 it is a really cool plane , I hope next time i see the PMDG news i can see PMDG777 comming soon :(

Hey guys!I haven't seen any discussion about this topic yet so I thought I just through it in.I'm not a programmer and have basically no idea about the whole programming thing. So please excuse if I'm asking to much.But wouldn't it be possible to create a Random Failure Generator for - let's say the MD11 for example - just to make the flights more interesting?It would also be great if there is a way to adjust the chance that a failure occurs.Has somebody heared about such a generator or is somebody even able to create one?Happy Landings!

Just a quick question, and I'm sorry if it's already been asked. Is PMDG planning to develop an Airbus fleet at all for FS9 and FSX? I really like PMDG's quality software, and would be nice to see Airbus development in their good name

I have enjoyed your 737 series and 747 series planes for the past few years and I have always was amazed by the documentation that cam with it. What did you do to get access to suce high quality information related to these airplanes. As a student pilot I know all about security protocols that the airlines have concerning the manuals for there planes. How did you guys pull off such a feat of documentation and design.Keep up the good work.If any of you had access too the real thing then I would be very happy to see how hard you worked to make the documentation as close to real as well.Denis DavisStudent Pilot

Has anyone besides me had trouble getting any kind of response from PMDG Customer/Technical sevice?...I've been trying for days to find out why my extended download service that I purchased along with the MD-11 doesn't work..I've written them several times with no response...I spent the extra $5 for the service, I should get it...it is scheduled to expire on the 18th of this month...my PC crashed and I had to totally rebuild...I didn't bother backing up the installer since I had purchased the extended download service...wish there was a phone number to call for assistance but they choose to hide behind e-mail only I guess...very disappointed with their customer service..…

I am looking at getting a new computer in the next few days, and I was hoping someone with similar specs might chime in. The new rig will include:Intel Core i7 860 (2.8 ghz)4gb DDR3 RAMRadeon 4890 for the video cardBased on the benchmarks and other research I have done, it should be more than capable of running the more recent PMDG releases (JS41, MD-11), however I would like to know what kind of settings/frame I can expect in FS9/X based on actual user experience.

HelloI have just recived my retail box PMDG 747-400X,and iam following the tutorial KLAX to KEDW that i found online:BOENING 747-400 STANDARD PROCEDURE'S GUIDE it's called From -Jared "Smitty" Smith.My question is this on page 2 it states that there is a bug with the default cold/dark scenario file shipped with the PMDG 747.Do not use it,it states.Now was this fixed in the service pack 2.1 or do i still have to fix the supplied file.Because the document is 2005.Thankyou for any help.Danny.

Although I had my planes back-up to an extenal drive, I found the other day after installing win7, that my external drive is dead. I got most of my stuff back. However I learned id have to purchase an extended download from PMDG to re-download my planes, so I did and got back a receipt from PMDG. However, my links are still expired. What else am I supposed to do?Thanks for any advice.Robert Feddersen

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can help me, ever since I got my macbook and windows xp and fs9 running on it, I hold F2 (+fn) and it keeps clicking backwards and forwards from reverse to idle. this is for every aircraft.Alexei

Any frenchmen around here? I was planning a flight in the 744 from EGLL-LFPG. I used FS Build and generated a flight. FS Build gave me the DPE 4E Arrival (Dieppe 4 Echo) into LFPG. So I selected that ARRIVAL in the FMC, all was well right. I go onto the net to get charts for LFPG and I came across this site http://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/htm...eset_aip_uk.htm you just put in the ICAO ident and the airport will come up and you can download the charts, which I did. When the download was finish I had 89 or so pages worth of stuff and not ONE of them had an arrival called DPE 4E. I am so confused, I'm looking the right spot arn't I?I like flying into EGLL JFK YYZ …

I never saw this in XP, but now that i am using win7 64, randomly during a flight in any pmdg product, causes my guages to go fuzzy,..and ONLY the guages.. They stay this way unless i exit FSX. Then after I exit, my screen goes black and my computer freezes. have to reset to reboot.Another issu I am having is that at imes my sound goes, I either loose it completley..or it cuts in and out. And never stops until I reboot FSX.Anyone think you may know whats going on here?Peter OsbornEDIT: I am using the most current 64 bit drivers-Nvida 195.62
