Good day all:I recently purchased an extended download for the B-1900D aircraft that I want to fly again now that I have replaced my computer. when the e-mails cleared I was told to submit a "Re-Download Ticket" in PMDG's Suppot Portal: http://support.precisionmanuals.com .I followed the link and set up an account so I could submit the ticket and received another e-mail entitled "PMDG Support Desk Email Address Verification". I followed the link from this e-mail to verify my address, but the site would not load so I could not verify my address so I could not log into their support site, so I could not submit my ticket so I could not download my airplane. I read this NTSB report a few years back and found it again today, If you only read one part then have a look at the CVR transcript, it's pretty sad reading it but also shocking the way the crew behaved up until things started going wrong, it honestly seems like two teenage kids messing around with a default aircraft in FS. The basics are they were performing a ferry flight so decided to take the aircraft up to it's maximum altitude and join the 410 club using V/S! despite that fact that the aircraft was struggling they left it to climb to FL410 and when the stall protection kicked in they tried to override it 4 times! Hi allMy fsx has started doing something strange since i tried to 'overclock' my graphics card...Everything else is normal except the menu items at the top of the screen (i.e. flight, world etc) and the ATC comms window. They look as though they're corrupt or are very dim and therefore almost unreadable.I have since returned the graphics card to it's default settings but i'm left with the dodgy menu and atc window. Everything else is running as it used to.Has anyone seen this before? I purchased this book in 1994 while in Wales (beautiful country). I have read it a few times. I am note sure if it can still be purchsed but ...It is an absolutly fascinating story of what went on during the 747 "betting the farm" development. One of my favorite parts is when the chief test pilot did a scheduled fly by for the first potential customer and actually did a full barrel roll to the absolute shock, horror and amazement of the Boeing brass and customer!

Ok I have the PMDG 737-700 cold and dark.I hit electric power, stand-by power and then ground power. Then next thing is APU generator start.APU powers up, then needle drops. When the blue lights come up on the APU Gen lights and I try to turn the switches off, they both fail to go out. I can click and click, but they do not go out.Sometimes they go out on the first or second click. Most of the time, they don't go out right away.Thanks

The B-747 and other aircrafts have different spoiler options,for example armed,disarmed and then there is a DET position as well.What are all these different settings used for ?I noticed that when I press the "/" key the spoilers depoly and retract regardless of the settings above.Therefore I am somewhat confused and hope somebody can explain.ThanksHubert Werni

Right,Things are looking in the final alpha lap for the 737 NGX, can we start getting excited about the 777?I say this after just reading many posts about it..My question is, how far delayed is the project from a "end 2010/early 2011" stand point.I am not asking for a release date, merely, what is ment by an earlier announcment suggesting that alot of the new NGX programming can be crossed over to the 777more to the point, the last i heard on the 777 was PMDG needed more information from Boeing on the 777,, has this been cleared yet? I have a new EVGA GTX 480 video card and no matter what "fix" I apply to the fsx.cfg file it will not run more than 30 minutes without either a BSOD or CTD. I uninstalled nhancer and applied the recommendations for "nhancer" like settings and still no fix. I finally uninstalled the newest Nvidia driver and installed the old 197.xx driver. No more problems and it runs smooth, without any jagged lines on the instrument panel.Just thought someone else may be having the same problem.My computer specs:CPU - Q9650 (water cooled with Corsair)MEMORY - 4GB OCZ ReaperGRAPHICS - EVGA GTX 480 (water cooled with Koolance EXOS)

Where do you set the course for landing ? Also do you tune the radio for the app. loc I was looking for the course window to set the course .If I am correct there is only one radio ?Is that where you set the ILS .I know the fmc can do it to.

I over clocked my graphics card and have since reset it to default. It is an ATI HD5570 with 1 GB of memory. The Font in the radio menu and on the FSX Menu bar are now corrupt. If I change the Graphics resolution it stays for one view, if I close the window and reopen the Graphics are again corrupt. They are also very faint.

have purchased two extended downloads for the J41 and MD11 and have also activated two tickets for these products but no response I was informed by E-Mail the J41 will be available to downloadbut still cannot. the reason for this hapenning is I have hade amajor crash on my system and have lost all my backup files including PMDGhope you can assist sorry if this is the wrong forum but I have tried the ticket route Regards Trevor Smith

Hey guys, I've always liked to get inside the cockpits with DVD's since for me, that might be the closest I will get in seeing real world ops. I have read a few interesting threads here and there about individual choices but thought I would start this thread for people to maybe list what they have and recommend. Also maybe the strong points of why they might like one over the other. I have have a few DVD's for the MD-11 and 747-400 that show real world operations and close looks at the systems.
