Warm greetings to everyone!I have about $30 to spend, but i don't know which to choose! I'm equally torn between two products:The 747-8 extension pack for my -400X OR the FS Dream Team Zürich. I know that both are EXCELLENT products to get, however i cannot get both. Please help me decide, it would really help out a lotThank you :)

Hi all!While waiting for the nex update I decided to give some web time dedicated to studying different NG systems. One interesting aspect of the Wing Anti Ice system of the NG is that the outboard slats are actually not included. That is because of the longer wing the bleed air system is unable to provide enough heated air. This can be confirmed by very interesting pictures made from the NG cockpit, showing the outer slat covered with ice.Not to be too picky I just wonder if PMDG would actually implement such detail..Cheers!

Hi,I have not yet purchased PMDG aircraft, I would like you guy that have it allready to tellme one thingIs the navaigation data used by PMDG in the format of a txt file ? Could you post here a same peae of it.This is because I am looking for navigation data for europe in the format ARINC 424-18 , this format is a txt file with all navigation information; it can also be used by other software and GPS.Thanks,Ian

I just got Fly Tampa VHHX and thought i'd do a flight from VHHX-KLAS using a simroutes route. When I proceeded to aling the IRSs', and went into the FMC to enter the current aiport i'm at, it said "NOT IN DATABASE," after entering VHHX into the current airport. Any idea why VHHX ( which is Kai Tak), isn't in the PMDG or LevelD database?

Hi guys,I've tried on the hardware forum/s, but still waiting for a reply, so I thought I'd try here (since there's are lot of traffic around lately lol). My laptop has recently packed up due to a power jack issue and haven't got the money to replace it at the mo (hopefully before the NGX is released). Would/is it possible to just remove the hard-drive and plug it into my partners laptop to access my files or would there be driver etc issues? Thanks in advance folks :)

I am planning on a new and first add-on from PDMG, probably the 747. I was wondering if any PMDG add-on's or any provider includes GPS. This question belongs in the Navigraph forum as I am not sure that GPS approaches are included in the Nav databases.Help me understand.Thanks,Brad Rich

Hi Guys,I recently switched over to FSX from FS9. I used FSBuild to generate my flight plans and I was able to edit a hotlink of sorts on the FS9 kneeboard so that I could see the flight plan. I also use TOPCAT and in FSX, I see the loadsheet and takeoff and landing peformance info on the briefing page of the kneeboard. Anyone know how I can get an FSBuild flight plan in there too?I've done some research and the FS9 kneeboard vs the FSX kneeboard are very different in terms of what they can do. Hey there everyone, I have $400 and currently I am debating whether to get the Saitek Pro Flight yoke system and get the rudder pedals, or get the Flight System G940. I will only be using either one for Flight Simulator X and no other games. Now I know they each have their up's and down's but I need some educated opinions. Also, after I buy whichever of the 2 systems, i'll have 100 or so dollars so I am also debating on getting the Concorde-X, or getting the PMDG MD-11. I also need some educated opinions on that as well. Thank you all for your time, happy flying!

Hey guys.I was thinking, do you think it will be possible for the pmdg 777 to have the com feature on the Multi Function Display. It would be pretty cool on community like vatsim or ivao to get clearances by text or get atis or something!

Anyone with input on this matter? I have the PMDG B747X preogram and I have been downloading textures from AVSIM. Problem is that the textures end up "shiny/metallic"... is there an update I need to get or are my airplane settings out of wack? Anyone? Help please... Thanks.

Hey All / PMDG,I am very much looking forward to the new 737NGX series, especially after flying a 737-700 sim and riding jumpseat in a 737-900!The purpose of this post, is to hopefully get info on the FPS we can expect in comparison to the above.I have the MD11, and usually get 20-30 fps using my settings. I get only 9-13 in the Js4100.I am HOPING that the 737NGX is more like the MD11 on the FPS.ThanksK r e g E.

HI I am new at livery design and would like to know if a .psd file is available for the PMDG_FUSE_LEFT_T and PMDG_FUSE_RIGHT_T files. The paintkit only has a tga. file for the body which does not have layers when opened in photoshop. The full_right and left file is in the .psd file format but not sure how to use that in the texture file.Any suggestions whould be appreciated. ThanksM737

Hi everybodyI have a few questions about the PMDG liner series :- Will it be possible, on the new 737 NGX to set an estimated flight time with a percentage of failure for a single element ? "ex : 60% chance of engine 1 flame out over a 3 hours flight"- Is it possible to use PMDG failure option "747, MD11, 737, ...", with any mission maker software available on the market ?- Will LUIS GORDO - INSTRUCTOR STATION, be fully compatible with the PMDG 737 NGX ? :( Hey everyone and PMDG, Just saw those pretty screenies of the new 737NGX CDU and all i can say is what a beauty! Im extremely excited to buy and start flying this baby! The only thing that gives FSX away is the lighting, and thats mighty impressive! Island hopping around Hawaii especially with all the FSdream team airport add ons is gonna be so fun and sexy in the new 737NGX.Realism question about sound:Is this realism going to be across the board, such as, will the engines/flaps/wheels/ground roll etc all be as realistic as the CDU? Or are we going to need to install TSS CFM56 7B sound pack and such to get the sound reaslim? You see, You've truly spoiled us rotten now…

Ok, so this is like the 4th edit i've done to this post and i'm just gonna re-write it.I just want to know if the fix for the black flashes in the PMDG 747 when you leave fsx in full screen and come back is done like this: Add under the [GRAPHICS] section HIGHMEMFIX=1? or is there supposed to already be a part named HIGHMEMFIX because if there is, I don't see it.Also, very important. When you save your settings in FSX such as autogen and what not, are you supposed to save it under MyDocuments/FlightSimulatorXFiles or in the Main CFG located in AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX replacing the original one?

Now that the NGX lights are closing in I am thinking about investing in proper harware (yoke and throttles) to enjoy the Boeing.I am using Saitek Yoke. And I am hopelessly dissapointed. I have 3 pieces at home. One broke down, one was the replacement and one I had to purchase together with the others because they simply were not performing... Ok guys, some of you may have heard that Martinair are ceasing. in 6 days I am flying from Amsterdam to Aruba. In the past 12ish days the flight has been cancelled twice could be more though. Is this going to cause a problem for me when I travel? If your wondering why I am asking here it's because anywhere else I got nothing and you guys are greatCheers
