Dear PMDG Team,I made a JS41 purchase on 3 Sept 2010 and am yet to receive an email with the downlaod link. When I completed the purchase I received an error message and immediately logged this but nothing has changed since then. The order number in question is 144015.Anyone else know about this problem and how to resolve, pleas help.Thank you.Levi Thamage

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you bring up the FPS on the screen ?

Hello everyone,Most FSX aircraft have at least a VC-captain's view and a VC- first officier's view. What I noticed (also with the PMDG MD-11) is that the VC-captain's view is always very "nervous", when scrolling through the cockpit with my POV hat; while the VC- first officier's view is much better to control with the POV.A wonderful exception of this behaviour is the PMDG B747-8i. In this aircraft, the VC- captain's view scrolls also very smooth, using the POV.My first question is: How did PMDG manage this for the 747-8i? Hi!I was just looking around the web for a payware airbus. I can't seem to find any good airbus aircraft.As soon as I stopped I thought about pmdg: why couldn't they make a good payware airbus aircraft. Now I know that you're sort of "specialized" in boeing aircraft.But I think that a good payware a319/A350/a340 would be great successes!Bye!

Good day people.I'm finally getting my new FSX rig up and running.I only have two jets, the PMDG MD-11 & 747X.I make/build my routes with FS Commander 8.6 and save as usual with the PMDG checkmark checked.But when I want to import the routes, using the "coroute" function the routes show up (get imported) in the MD-11, but not the 747X ??The routes I have built are in the "FLIGHTPLANS" folder of the PMDG folder, as they should since they show up in the MD-11.The problem only exist's in the 747 CDU.HELP !!!!!Golli.

Hi,I would just like to take a moment from the waiting and guessing and say a big thank you to the entire PMDG team for making our hobby a lot more enjoyable. I really admire there professionalisme and dedication to this hobby. A special thanks goes to Robert S. Randazzo, because without him I simply do not think that we would have got to where we are now. I hope the screen shot I've attached will bring back some memories, because that plane and indeed all of them are just outstanding. They truly speak for the company. Hi all,Not sure where to post this - sorry if this is the wrong place. Please let me know the correct place. Since installing the LCF, when FSX starts, I get a warning over the FSX splash screen that PMDGSOUND.DLL is causing problems or corrupt. The dialog box then asks whether to continue to load it. I've been clicking "No". This makes for strange flying, and seems to result in missing textures on the LCF. I tried replacing the file pmdgsound.dll from a backup made 18 months ago, but the same message comes up. Uninstalling LCF doesn't eliminate the startup warning. The structure of the dll.xml file passes the structure-checker (xml parser?) that I found somewhere on the …

Hello all, Oneproudaussie’s post gave me an idea about 747 and generally heavy routes....You see, as much as I love the PMDG 747 (in all its variants) and the bloody marvelous beyond words MD-11, I rarely have the time to fly them long haul. But these heavy,heavy birds must and do at times fly short haul occasionally in their lives.May I call upon your collective savvy for knowledge of any and all short haul connecting or repositioning flights flown by our glorious heavies?I have a few, by way of example, to set us off.1) This is featured on a Just Planes DVD, but its Cargolux 747-4F, Changi to Kuala Lumpur. On three occasions recently, always towards the end of perfect flights otherwise, a simple change of View results in a black screen and moments later a total shutdown of the PC! Not just a CTD, but, yes, the machine suddenly switches itself off! I was running FSX and JS41 only, no other appsDoes anyone have any idea why this might be happening? My machine is a Sony laptop model VGN Z31VN, 32-bit, 4GB RAM, Intel Core2 Duo CPU P9600 @ 2.66GHZ.With thanks!David

While i am patiently waiting for the 737.. i have been doing lots of 747 flights.. only problem is i am getting sick of the same routes i fly from Australia to USA.So sorry if there is already a post like this.But what is your favorite 747 route (preferably above 10 hour flights)? and if available favorite STAR into that airport?I am keen to explore the world in the 747 before the NGX arrives.. it's a good way to pass time.

Hi folks,I just read an article that the German Airline Air Berlin is testing new approach procedures which are based on GLS/GPS system.Article (written in German)Since 2007 all delivered 737s to Air Berlin are equipped with GLS/GPS and since 2009 AB is allowed to use this.My question is, will this be simulated in the upcoming NGX? or maybe as patch in the future?I know that you developers are very limited to what FS can do and what not :)best regardsJan

Just a wee post to say there is hope for all to run FSX with PMDG add ons even on the puniest of machines. After a year of continual CTD`s with Vista 32bit I finally installed W7 Ultimate 64bit. Was still getting lots of Cream or Black screen CTD`s when accesing menus using Alt Key or flying over complicated scenery.Now heres the point after updating to latest drivers and a few well placed config tweaks, I can now run at a steady 24fps using PMDG MD11- 747 while using UTX, GEX, REX2.0 or FTX scenery on a 2.0Ghz core2duo laptop with fairly high graphics settings. A little patience and a lot of googling goes a long way people. Read the forums also, someone has usually had …

After all these years I decided to finally buy the 747 since I found a copy at Fry's today in Dallas for $29.99, however I have a couple of questions before I open the box since that will void a return.1. Since I bought this as a boxed product from a retailer rather than the online PMDG shop, how do I go about registering it so that I can receive support if needed?2. Anyway, The reason for this post is: Would it be easy to impliment a 2D Comm1 pop-up panel with a click spot in the virtual cockpit? Last night while enjoying a flight on Vatsim for the Brussels event, It became very difficult to tune and preselect standby frequncies for all the ATC positions that were online. Especialy from the virtual cockpit and while using Track IR. It would seem people are getting a little cranky. Well for my 2 cents worth I would rather wait for a completed project with an unknown release date than promise a release date and back off that promise because of incompleted or faulty bata testing. I know there will be white smoke coming from the chimney soon.

Hi, does anyone know if there's is a way to prevent FSX from using two monitors? I wanted to check the Aivla EFB, but whenever I run FSX, secondary monitor starts to display black screen.Thanks.

So i got a new hardrive and instaled fsx and pmdg i tried pmdg 747 and i use autopilot the switches and knobs only go to the left and fmc dosent work i tried reinstaling it it still dosent work now all my flights with pmdg have to be done manually someone help forgot my name Brandon Danyluk

Hi everyone, just of late Ive noticed the quality of subject matter in this Forum has somewhat declined probably due to the long wait for product releases and getting a bit fed up. Certainly some of the big name simmers have been conspicuous by their absence (they will know who they are). I feel this partly due to the fact that the financial situation around the world is having a big part in what people have to spend on necessities and what they have left to spend on FS aircraft etc. I personally need a new high end Graphics card and I am saving like mad to buy one on top of the cost of the new 737ngx.
