Hello Everyone. I was just wondering if anybody had run into this particular problem. While trying to load the 747 in FSX, flight simulator encounters a fatal error and crashes to the desktop. I've got the service packs for both Windows XP and FSX installed and I've read the FAQs so i'm a little stumped. Was just wondering if anyone has tried the new fuel planner Fsfuel. If so, is it accurate? I already have TOPCAT, but since it doesn't calculate accurate fuel I was looking into this.Thanks, David Schleck (KMKE)

Stubbled onto this article on figured that i should share it with everyone. It gives dimensions, and many interesting facts on winglet-fitted-737s. I just ordered the J41 Sim for online download and paid via paypal.. at the end of the order I got an error code with no real explanation or help in directing me where I could find out order status.. The Order status page in my account has the order acknowledge but no place to download the product..Any help would be appreciated...

Hi Guys,I have a little problem that has been annoying me. I have recently upgraded my system and have Windows 7 now. Howeverbeing an Aussie, i use Kilograms for all my weight in the PMDG md-11 and 747.I can change the little drop box in the load manager to Kg, save and close, but when i go to the plane in Fsx it is still in Lbs. Also if i save and close in Kg's, and then straight away open the manager again, it has gone back to Lbs. If i go to the PMDG menu in FSX and change the units of measure to KGs, it shows in the aircraft as Kg's, but when i then try to load the fuel via the PMDG menu in FSX, It only lets me set it in Lbs.I can only assume the Fuel manager in fsx f…

Hi EveryoneI would like to know if a South African Airways 747-400 livery exist. I kinda don't understand how come PMDG makes liveries of countries who don't operate the 747-400 - and omit countries who do :( The livery currently exists in FS2004 format - how can we get PMDG to make it in FSX?W :)

Hi I will like to know if any one have used the ultimate defrag.I like to used on my computer to keep all my files in order. But I dont know if that will afect the fsx.any advice will be apreciated

I'm not sure if this video was posted here before, but it features the Heads Up Display of a 737-800 landing at LAX. I think it's quite spectacular that PMDG simulated this, GO PMDG!

Every year I post this-its just part of the tradition.If you have never attended it then i strongly recommend you do. It is the wild wild west at its best. Sept 15-19 (Thurs-Sunday)As some of you know RSR has a plane and team that race a T-6 texan- wich was a valuable asset to the military during WWII and beyond.But whats really cool is you can go into the pits and get up close and personal with RSR. -sometimes Ryan is there too. All the while F-16 from the snowbirds ( Blue Angels usually every other year), P-51'S, Corsairs, T-6 texans etc ,and various small jetted aircraft whiz past you as fast as possible around a plyon marked oval track- and there are lots of stunts.…

hi, i have setup to use two monitors for fs9 and the 737 i run fs9 in window mode but i am unable to drag the fmc or throttle over to my second display ive probably missed something in the setup, any help please.

On a recent attempt to fly from LOWW to ZMSH in the MD-11 (FS9) I received the "Not In Database" error. I believe this will happen with any PMDG aircraft with an FMC, as they all use the common database from Navigraph, so I posted it here. I realize that this is basically a Navigraph issue and have written them about it. This airport, ZMSH, shows up in the FS9 "create a flight" and appears on the FSNav map and the Afcad2 program. It has one runway, which is over 9,000 ft. long and the default is located in:Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Asia\scenery\AP977160.BGL My question is this...is there a way to somehow fly this flight in a PMDG aircraft, speciffically the MD-11...other…

I have just purchased Trackir5 Pro and must say it’s the best purchase yet (until the NGX comes out).:( Problem is when in VC view and thackir is on, the view is so close the front widescreen that it’s hard to see all the instruments. Even when I sit back a bit its still not showing the view I would normally get. How can I edit the aircraft CFG so the seat position moves back? With trackir running it easy to do with the key board but with it running im unable to do so.Any help is most appreciated.

Hello to all,Just wondering, what plans do you all have for your first flight in the 737NGX. I know this sounds real nosy, but I just want to know. I am, most likely, going to do a flight in the 737-700 in southwest colors, as long as they have them, from KDAL to KHOU, but if FS Dreamteam finishes KDFW, I will do a flight from KDFW to MMUN, trying to recreate a flight I was on two years ago. I can't wait until eather of these come out. I am suspecting that PMDG is getting real close since they are coming out with less pictures, and the main parts are being completed, such as the overhaed, mcp, throttle quadrant, and pedestal.

Alright well this is my first video, very basic as it was only to test the quality and settings of fsx/fraps/ and Vegas. I'll be doing another video with the PMDG 747 fully edited with real audio and in a lot better quality.Also, if anyone knows how to fix FSXrecorder (When I play the video back the sound is all weird and skippy and same with the planes lights so I have to record in the day. A dusk landing would look a lot better). Any tips to help improve would be great :) I'll be using Vegas pro and Adobe After effects to edit the pmdg 747 video. Hey everyone, I have been simming for quite awhile and I want to step up my overall experience. I am getting a new PC that will be able to easily handle FSX so I was thinking I needed some awesome addons. I have known of PMDG for a long time but I have stayed away from it because of how "hardcore" it is. But anyways I will be looking at getting all the 747 stuff. So now on to the question. Is the Pmdg team thinking of 3 and 4 class cabin configuration for the new 777?Some airlines have this on the 777.For now only pmdg 747-400 had a 3 class configuration,would be nice to see this on the pmdg 777Keep up the good work !Best regards Anders Vesterlund

Just wondering, I would think adding only a side cargo door to the exterior model of the pax 747-400 would be less difficult than the Boeing Beluga! Any chance we can get a BCF addon for the Queen?
