hi thought i give nhancer a try, installed but when i click on the exe nhancer 2.5.9 appears briefly but no program opens up.what i have tried so far uninstall program, download and reinstall but still the same. i have made sure i downloaded the 64 bit version im using windows 7 64 bit. any help would be appreciated. thanks, jim

At the moment ASE has gone complely crazy on me, to the point where it is not even a usable program. It will insert the weather at first, but after flying out of the departure airport, a few minutes into the climb I will loose all my weather, and it is very unlikely it will ever come back. I figure that it could be with FSUIPC because when I had al the weather settings off, things seem to work better, and there are times that I can recover the ASE weather by turning off FSUIPC weather in flight. Also there seems to be a consensus on the HiFI boards that FSUIPC does not play well with ASE, and quite frankly HiFi seems to have given up on fixing the problem with that and…

Do you think passenger airliners will ever become totally remote control flyable in the future?For example, if both pilots were incapacitated due to an emergency could a pilot on the ground take remote control and land the plane similarly to how drones are? Perhaps cameras could be placed in the cockpit to give a view of it and be beamed down to the ground pilot so he could get it landed? Perhaps such a plane could be landed even if conditions in the cockpit were so bad that a human would be unable to regain control. Any views?Al

Considering the prolonged release of the NGX has anyone considered the fact that it may be released together as a package with the 777, makes sense they are both Boeing.Bit far fetched . . . . but you never know.

Hi, I'm new at this board and have the MD11 from PMDG and the 747-400 Queen of the skies. I am wondering from what airframe the cockpit layout is taken, because the 747 for example has the autobrakes in front of the captain, where in the simulator the pressure gauge is located... For the MD11, I also would like to know what airframe the "real"airplane is taken from. Does anyone know ?

Hi fellow PMDG fans, I noticed that I have made grammatical errors, and spelling mistakes which look really bad on some of the post I have made. Is it possible to edit your post? I've been to your shop today, to buy a product for FSX, and I got surprised by the amount of problems on that site. Sorry but this was a big no no for me. I'll not use it again, until I see big changes.1. $50000 worth LCF extension to 747-400X ? You've got to be kidding me. And the original 747-400X costs only $25.2. OPS server down, or link is obsolete (anyway it timeouts every time).3. Tooltips for products are way out of the screen (at least 200px offset from the target)4. No option to see european currency (uk pounds). Been bugging me for a while, sorry this is probably too techy a question for FS and we cant get fired if we bust altitude minimums but.... does FS simulate temperature effects on barometric altitude? For example real world RNAV approaches cant be flown below certain temps unless corrections are made from a table. Development team:If I recall correctly, our old, trusty 737 (that I have sadly not flown in ages because I'm now fully FSX - can't wait for the NGX) had a function where you could select an airline, it would populate the appropriate options, and then you could load up and head out. This function was lost somewhere between then and now. I'm guessing that it's partially due to the amount of time necessary for the devs to research all of the options and compile them into a settings list. Instead, would it be possible to create a function in the options panel to allow us to save a setting as an entry we could recall later? Right now, I'm having to go in and edit the optio…

I have a q6600 2.4 ghz cpu. I can overclock it to 2.675ghz in the nvidia ntune program. Anything after that the computer locks up. Is there a program that can manage the overclocking beyond 2.675 ghz. Thanks.Michael Davis

I installed a new hard drive just for FSX. I did a new install of FSX and the program works fine. I reinstalled the PMDG 747-400 and I have a skeleton aircraft. I reinstalled the MD-11 and have all the gauges missing. I looked in the forum but did not come up with anything. Can someone point me in the right direction to a post regarding this topic or can someone help me with a fix? I miss flying my PMDG aircraft.Michael Davis
