Hi guys,On friday 4th of june a Ryanair 737-800 aborted the take-off. The nosewheel was already in the air ( the mainweels still on the runway) when the pilots decided to abort. This resulted in a hot-brake situation. All passengers and crew where safely evacuated, no one was injured. The flight was continued on another plane.A emergency-stop after VR? I am curious as to what kind of failure they encountered?It must have been a very lightly loaded plane, their destination was Faro (LPFR) in Portugal, about 3 hours of flighttime. If they had been heavier and/or the runway was shorter, it might not be possible to abort (after V1).Regards,Wijnand (EHBK)

Ok I have a problem with fsx. I installed w7 and fsx them I installed my pmdg md11,747-400x, and 747-400i8 now this is the problemI load the fsx and start flight normal but in ten minute into the flight the computer freez and I have to restart. the computer also give me an error msg. that say the computer have no memorie and I need to set the grafic to lower setings. my computer have 16g of ram memorie ddr3 dual channel, so wath the hell is goin on. can some one tell me. this only hapend with pmdg md11 and 747-400. all my liveries show normal and the fsx loads normal. all my setings are set to normal setings. so if some one have the same problem I will like to know the so…

Goodday, I fly the pmdg 737 900, does pmdg programs work on an apple computor, or only window based operating systems. thank you

Hi,I am planning to upgrade my PC form a core 2 duo to a core i5. The question is, for roughly 200USD I could get a core i5-661 or an i5-750, one dual core, other quad. I like the 661 default clock speed and lower power usage, and I'm not sure that a 5 year old app like FSX will efficiently use 4 cores, even with SP2 and acceleration. I might be wrong on this one though.Also, planning to turn off hyper-threading in either case, from my experience with enterprise applications at least, that's not going to help much. My US Collection of SIDSTARS includes 66 locations. The changes this cycle inlcude new RNAV STARs at PHNL (3) and KRNO (1), and numerous updates at a dozen other locations. It is located in the AVSIM library as 'cycle_1006_sidstars.zip' and includes an extensive readme. I have heard from most of the judges but also want 50% of the decision to come from the community. hi guysyesturday i did some comparison flights between the PMDG MD11 and the CS 767. Hello i hope anybody from the pmdg Supportteam will read this post.I opened a ticket in the support system on May the 15th at 17:27z (i dont know if i should post the ticket numer). I have some trouble with the reactivation of the JS41 downloadversion. I bought it in early fall 2009 and activate it. Then in Dec. 2009 i bought new hardware so i activate it again... last week i had a HDD crash.. I dont only play FSX but i play Half Life 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV and i noticed that all these mods for both dont cost a dime. Now when i say this im not just poking at PMDG but at carenado, CLS, and all those other other payware plane addon developers when i say: Why must these addons cost? Anyone know how to avoid the shine when installing some liveries. i installed the corsairfly Livery pack and all repaints have that shine over them. can this be fixedcheers guys

lets look around someplaces and see if PMDG has had any form of hints that they give out that sorta indicates a plane is so close to being released (i.e. maybe an asterisk at the end of the last update post before release...) Im not saying there is an asterisk just an example of a hint.

Hello gents,I hope I don't upset PMDG folks with these questions. I own and fly everthing they make and think them second to none. However I'm a little disappointed in the exterior lighting, particularly on the MD-11. I would like to improve that situation if I could. Also I think I have read that there is (are) programs that enhance engine sounds, even in the PMDG products. I'd really appreciate any recommendation.Thanks,Eric Olson
