Hi, sorry if im asking something that has already been answered. I've tried to search for similar topics but the ones i found were only about fatal errors while starting fsx/choosing the aircraft or just after installation. My problem appeared after maybe 10 successful flights on a new fresh install with only 3 addon aircrafts (carenado 150, lds 767 and ofcourse pmdg 747X. I got this problem today after doing a flight from VHHH to KLAX, while i was coming in on final and maybe 10 seconds after a/p disengage (under 1500 feet because of low clouds) the screen froze and i thought it would "get back" again but it stayed that way for maybe 20 seconds and after that i got the "…

Hello wizards of PMDG,Is there any chance that the 737NGX could include different situations of flight for training porpoises like:1-Before takeoff checklist, 2-5NM before TOD, 3-DME ARC Approach to abcde airport,4-In a approach procedure before IAF to wxyz airport,5-Manual landings 1000ft autopilot disengage situations to hard or known airports,6-Flying on VNAV-LNAV, same as before but 20NM away from the airport. I'm considering upgrading my Dell monitor to a 22" Widescreen to enhance my cockpit experience. I fly MD-11 in FSX and 747-400 in FS9. There is a report in a recent topic that the 22"monitor can't be used as a wide panel option for the MD-11 because the Autopilot doesn't work!Can anyone confirm if this is correct, and is it the case for both PMDG models? This will obviously save me a lot of expense in purchasing a widescreen monitor only to find it can't be used in that mode.Any advice from PMDG on this topic would be gratefully accepted.ThanksBernard Walford

Hi All, i hope the administrator will allow this post due to its unprecendented content. Here in the U.K. and in Scandinavia all airports have been closed today for an indefinate period with no passenger flights outbound and incoming flights diverted outside U.K. airspace due to the recent vulcanic eruption in Iceland. dust has entered the upper airspace making flights too dangerous for obvious reasons. the powers that be have stated that this occurrence is unprecedented. just for info, probably no replies necessary. richard welsh.

Hi, I'm thinking about a small hardware update to my machine.My goal is to be able to fly to airports like Aerosofts Heathrow in Active Sky Weather, using addon airliners, like the PMDG 747X or the LevelD 767 and the upcomming NGX of course.Right now I'm using a Core2Duo E6750 (not overclocked, running at 2.66), a ATI Radeon HD4870 1GB, and 3GB of Corsair DDR800 RAM. I fly mostly PMDG products and was wandering if anyone can tell me if a 'Registered Copy of FSUIPC' is worth the money. I mostly fly the MD-11 along with the 737NG and 747. I know that the purchased software from PMDG has an unregistered copy of FSUIPC that is built-in to it so I was wandering if it is worth the money to purchase a 'Registered Copy' and if so, what would the features, advantages, & benefits be in so doing. hi!i bought 747-400 v1 for fs2004, the procces was great by the way, but i have big froblem.when i stat the install procces (next,next.next....) so the installer told me that "microsoft flight simulator doesnt install in my computer" or something like this... and it is exist! im flying about 2-3 hours at day in it~! can i enter manuel path for the installer?an if no, what is my problem?t, asaf. :(

PMDG,Would it be possible for you to create/implement some sort of API for the CDU so that virtual airlines/AC could design a custom ACARS-type implementation. It would give an added layer of reality when flying online or for a virtual airline.Thanks,

Hello DevsI would like to know if you would post for all of us anxious users out there whether or not the NGX will have a multi crew function? I fly multi crew a lot in the Leonardo MD-88 and it really makes the experience even more awesome.The NGX with 2 pilots in shared cockpit on VATSIM would be the most realistic form of flight simulation on the PC.Keep up all of the awesome work PMDG!

Hello,Just downloaded some SID/STAR data for NZ from the VATNZ website. I unzipped the file and placed the .txt documents under the PMDG/sidstars folder. When I input one of the included airports into the route, I get a rwy unavail message in the CDU scratchpad and there is no runway/ approach/sid/ star in the dep/arr page for the airport in question. I am using the newest navigraph cycle but added this file due to many airports in NZ not being included. Whats going on? Thanks!Reed

Hi Pmdg, maybe it will be a little bit early for such a question but thats interesting for me. I've noticed that some aircrafts only had a virtual cockpit and not a 2D Panel! I don't know which aircaft it is but do you plan to create a 2D panel for the 777?Greetings Mike

NEED HELP with charts.I am looking for the EXACT 3 CHARTS (by that I mean same release date and all) that are used in the following PMDG 747 tutorial: I was wondering if someone might have them and could e-mail them to me as I would like to print them out (the ones in the tutorial are kind of unreadable) so I could have a good hard copy.I have tired to find the EXACT 3 charts online, but with no luck. I was having a read about the Illyushin IL-96, and was looking through flight deck photos on airliners.net.Since linking to a.net isn't allowed here, do a search in the photo database for IL-96 FD photos, there are 14. The one I'm referring to is the first uploaded, and is clearly the odd one out compared to the other photos.That PFD looks awfully familiar...so do the two status screens (upper/lower eicas on the 744). Note the EFIS control panel too. Hi, just reformated my computer yesterday to install vista 64 to get rid of the OOM's i was having with all pmdg aircrafts i own with the exception of js41.I haven't had a OOM yet so i think it is working but when flying the 747 i get a strange problem that i could get on the MD11 before when i was using a 32bit windows.If i alt-tab or change things in the controls, or open a window in fsx (like pmdg specific options or other things like that) the aircraft and all models disappear, not just the aircraft outer model but the 2d panel, VC, all views and all buildings, everything except for the ground texture disappears. If i alt tab, or alt-enter fsx and then do random thing…

This weekend I was motoring down from Frankfurt (EDDF) to St. Maarten (TNCM) in the PMDG 744 (FS9, I will be switching as soon as I convince myself that installing FSX won't screw up FS9). Anyway, here I am at 37,000 feet, and I decide to do a systems check by pulling up the various systems, I hit the fuel page, normal, I hit the hydraulics page, normal, I hit the eletrical page, normal, i then go to the ECS page and suprisingly, the valve between the 1st and 2nd pack is amber and indicating it's closed. I am not using the PMDG failures. I then check the overhead panel for the pack switches and they are all on, I don't think this is a huge problem but I figure I should …

Hi guys over the last 2 weeks I have had several problems with fsx. After uninstalling and deleting the fsx program files I managed to fix it. But yesturday when reinstalling the MD11 I tryed to uninstall the liveries. I started with AA and it said there was no cfg this is normal etc, happened before no problems. But know when I open fsx it stays on the loading screen for ages before I click it then it says failed to respond etc.Can someone please help me!!! I can't live without my fsx! hahacheers guys

Hello to all Please I need aid: Airplane MD11 from PMDG in one first opportunity when abrir fs, left with the dark screen I entered setup and I gave to repair him and I resolved the problem, now repeated the same fault but in three opportunities I have not been able it to repair, unistall the program I reinstated and nothing.
