Hi everyone, I am trying to change the aircraft.CFG in FS9 on windows 7 however it always says access denied everytime I try and overwrite it. For example when trying to add the GSS livery to the PMDG MD-11. Alot of people say its to do with the administrtor or something, but I I dont know how to change it to the administrator.Please help meAlexei

I know you guys have a lot going on right now. Maybe somthing to think about, seeing how you seem to be on a turboprop kick. The Dornier 328 Would be a pretty sweet plane to have in the FSX hangar! Another one of those weird not frequently used planes. I do believe that even the FMC is pretty close to the jetstream 41 fmc which I'm sure would make designing a little easier and some what fast. Somthing to think about anyway!Greg

Anybody able to provide some feedback on the above? Purchased yesterday from RCSimulations, cant wait to try it. But is it all it's cracked up to be? Have Vista 32-bit, 2 gig ram, and 1 gig grapics. Is that enough for a decent FPS? And whats the deal with that clip thing? Apparently I need a headset. Is there nothing else that will do?Any comments appreciated.Thanks

Hello on monday i bought PMDG MD-11 and im extremly happy with it... Without a end but i got a question... I purchased the download version and now my question is: In my order menu it says download link expires in 6 days... Does it mean after this 6 days i never can download it again?

Hello,after installing my new CPU cooler and a new configuration of my bios-settings I have problems with the pmdgsound.dll. It only affetcs the FSX which I have on a seperate partition. I can load the PMDG aircrafts but not all sounds are working e.g the flaps-sound. I also have the FS9 on another partition without problems. I already have done a reinstallation of all PMDG aircrafts (B747, MD11, JS41) but the problem still remains :(Thank you for your help,Holger

I'd really appreciate it if one of our resident navdata guru's could have a look at these two SIDSTAR files.They're both for VHHX Kai Tak. The Terry Yingling file works just fine, even though my FMC data is 1001, and the file is cycle 0912. Trouble is, there are no STARS for RW13 in it.For some reason, the Steve Bell version (04/96) won't work with the FMC. By that, I mean that although there are several STARS present in the data, they don't appear in the FMC.I'd really like to have the STARS for RW13.Can anyone please help?

Ok so the title might confuse you as much as I'm confused.But here I go. I just bought the 747-400x at my local Microcenter 29.99!!!And right now I only have a joystick. My future plans are to build a 737-800NG Cockpit for added realism. Why do these people on YouTube spend thousands and thousands of dollars (sometime over 20K) on hardware and use the default 737??And having to spend hundreds on software to make all the switches even matter.Can I just buy a PMDG, click and drag the the windows to like 6 different monitors some being touchscreen and not have to get Project Magenta.... Cause all the systems are built into the PMDG?Same question applies when the new PMDG 7…

I remember back in early 2007 PMDG announced an A320. What happened to it is it in the works or did PMDG give up on it? I'd really like to know so if anybody out there works for PMDG let us know. PLEASE!!! :(

You said you where starting with the 200/300 versions of the Dash 8. Does that mean we are going to get both the 200 and 300 on intial release and then maybe a 100 version? Please do a 100 version. AC Jazz has so many of them and I'd love to fly the Dash 8-100 for AC Jazz especially into all the smaller fields. Thanks

Good day, I am a very big fan of your PMDG 747 package, so I didn'd wait to load the new expansion pakage that you just release. But since a installed it and also dowunloaded and installed some new livery from your web site I am getting this new message when I start FSX.I am getting the message for about 6 to 7 different liveries that I had before I installed the new extension pack. Hiya peops, I just got the TrackIR5 the other day and am trying to get use to it but have a couple questions for users of it and PMDG products. Is there an alternate way to see and work in the virtual cockpit without having to zoom all the way out? Are there keyboard shortcuts to bring up screens in the VC that may help me config things for startup?Example being, I don't get the CG value from the engine display in the VC (MD-11) as I would in 2D mode after waiting a few seconds going off of the SD. hi i have upgraded to windows 7 now when i try to run fs9 any time i change view or hit alt to bring up the menu bar my screen goes blank, i have installed the fs9 patch and all the 678900 are all up to date. any help please. jim mcpherson

Hi, I did some looking around for this and I couldn't seem to find quite the answer I'm looking for, just wondering about what the TAT should be inflight? (I know it varies, bear with me please)If in ASA it says the temperature outside is -52, the TAT display on the 744 reads around -18 at mach .85 or .86. If I slow down to say .78 then the TAT temperature goes down. I guess my lack of knowledge on what exactly TAT is contributes to my confusion. I read an article on wikipedia and I don't quite understand it. From what I gather is the faster you go, the friction of the air makes the airplane warmer than the air surrounding it, which makes sense.I recently got the MD-…

Im trying to buy the 747-400X and the 747-8 expansion...But when selecting both and when im hitting the chackout button.. Only the 747-400X comes up...And if i remove them all and just select the MD-11X.. Then hit checkout.. The 747-400X is back...Whats wrong?CheersStian Svensen

With the apparent end in further development of MSFS by the ACES team, and with aerosoft planning a new flightsim, i was just wondering, what are the odds of PMDG and other developers starting to support X-Plane. I personally have 0 experience with that sim but from what i hear and understand its a better sim, smoother and handles aero dynamics better. So, is it simply because its not popular enough or are there other reasons?
