I was reading a comment that $US 24.95 was a little pricey for a repaint (a little unfair) and my considerations were in addition to that. First, I purchased with $AU (91.5c to the greenback) and I'm a Pensioner (with begging bowl). Second consideration was, should I forgo the purchase and put that meagre amount towards my next purchase, the MDII. Well, I bought it and could not be happier with the decision. I seem to be having some difficulties with a 747-8i repaint. I downloaded the Air New Zealand repaint this evening. After installing it and opening FSX I get the message;"There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. PMDG 747-8i QantasSimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG747-400"I'm able to click 'cancel' and the message goes away. However, the ANZ 747-8i does not show up in FSX when selecting an aircraft. I've gone into SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG747-400 and found the following texture folders (amonst others). texture.NZtexture.NZ8itexture.QFtexture.QF2 (this is the Wunala repaint)texture.QF8iNo folders have the same title. I got the PMDG 747-400X for this past Christmas, and it was a great aircraft, but FSX had some major problems so I had to re-install FSX, and by the time I wanted to get the PMDG back, the URL had expired! Hey guys when I start FSX I get a message saying flight simulator detected a problem with a third party addon "PMDG Sounds DLL" version 10,0,61355,62Now that being said I just installed an Sound Blaster Extreme Audio sound card, it worked fine the first few times but then I started hearing strange sounds, especially when using the MD11, for example when I used the load manager, when it asks to send the data to fsx and I would confirm it would make a loud buzzing noise, weird. Anyways now I get this message everytime I start fsx. Before I run a system restore and get rid of this card, does anyone have any advice.

Does anyone know why I get this error? I am getting the smart assembly error on the MD11. I have all programs turned on. Thanks.

hi everyone, just treated myself with a 25" monitor with native resolution of 1920x1080x32. it looks great but the cockpit dials in the pmdg aircraft are looking more oval than round, to save me the time experimenting with msfs resolutions to rectify this does anyone have a ready made solution to this slight problem. many thanks in advance. richard welsh

Hi there :( I have a few questions about FSX :1) - So i know that a big LOD radius use CPU but what about memory, does it use the GPU one or the system ram ?2) - Have I to change something on Win7 64 to allow 4 Go to FSX, like a command line ? There was a document that came with PMDG purchase that gave an ILS approach monitored procedure diagram and on it at minimums-go around it shows that if A/T is off the first thing to do is "straight-arm throttles to cursors". Does that mean push throttles to takeoff power?Thanks,Chris Porter

Gents:I have not changed anything on my PC and yet I seem to have lost some PMDG nav. data. In the MD11 ILS is untunable at EDDF and 747-400 to CYYZ ILS33R has no data. ILS33L was available but the aircraft would not line up for runway on autopilot.. These are the only two airports I have flown lately. I think I have all PMDG updates installed for both aircraft. I am a little puzzled at this. All was working well a week ago when I last flew these aircraft.Any help would be appreciated.

News sources are reporting that a Swedish man has been arrested in the cockpit of a 737 about to fly from Amsterdam to Turkey. Apparently, he used faked papers to get the job and had been doing this for 13 years and has over 10,000 hours logged? Hi Everyone,I have been very fortunate to have a new joystick bought for me for my birthday present! 6 more days to go!!!!Can anyone tell/advise me what's the best set up for the PMDG 747-400 and/or MD-11?
