I wanted to know if any PMDG MD11/744 users have this CPU for FSX. I'm thinking of upgrading my I7http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....rodid=CP-316-IN

The new 747-8 Freighter completed it's last ground testing today and is scheduled to take to the air Feb 8, (Feb 9 for those of you in HKG etc west of dateline) according to Boeing officials. Watching the local news up here, it is w/out a doubt big and impressive. Vincent

hey, i know that in the past the amd chipsets and processors have been considered to slow for fsx and ati cards have had alot of issues apparently with drivers, image processing quality and performance, just wanted to know if the current generation of amd/ati goodies are up to the task. im building a new rig wondering if scince 2006, here we are in 2010 if the best they have to offer can let me max out the sliders, alteast EVERYTHING except for the ground,scenery,air,water traffic settings which i dont mind all off. heres my parts list:http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/3915/29892909.jpgif anyone has similar hardware please let me know of ur experiencesill be running fsx …

I got the PMDG 747 and was so excited to use it, but when I tried to install it, it gave me a error message when I clicked on the next button on the 'I agree or not agree' page. The message was 'Installation cannot continue. You do not have flight simulator installed' Well, I did not install FSX in the correct path, but in E drive. But the installer could not detect it, and I could not get show the correct path for it, as the error message won't go away. I had to end the program by using the the task manager.Can someone help me on how to show the installer the correct path for FSX. I really want to use this aircraft. Please?Here's a screenshot of the error message.

Gents:I need a little advice possibly for a small hardware upgrade or maybe some more tweaks because I have had FSX sitting on the shelf for over a year and now installed it so I can run the JS4100 from PMDG.My machine is Asus M2N-MX-SE Plus2 GB 1066 RamRadeon 4650 1 GBAMD Athlon X2 6000 @ 3.2 GHZI have XP tweaked down to 77% free Ram before starting FSAutostartI think I have tried all the FS tweaks including PCI Latency.FSX runs but as soon as I switch to JS4100 things go downhill. How do I get the PMDG signature to work? I'm sure I followed the instructions correctly.

Hello,I purchased the extended download service for the MD11 for FS9 back on 25th Jan. Since then I have sent 3 emails to [email protected] as indicated on the website but have yet to recieve a response. Hi PMDG,I know obviously there isn't going to be an FS2004 NGX. However, you know how the newer 737s have a different MCP look with those green lights and bigger squared buttons on the autopilot controls? Maybe you could design and make the newer look of autopilot for the 737 product line released for fs2004 a while ago :( It would be a nice update!Regards,James W.

Hey sorry after looking through info I couldn't find an answer to this.Are PMDG developing one product at a time so the NGX then the 777 or dash 8 or are they developing these aircraft at the same time and working on multiple projects.I think i already know the answer to this one but I was just hoping to clarify.Thank youRichy

Hello everyone, i need some help with this one and i have given as much info to help solve the problem. i recently did a clean install of windows7 home edition 64bit. i installed intel i7 920 2.67ghz, asus 1366 p6t m/b 1333 triple channel with HD 500gb. also utx fscenex 747-400x and md11x. internet off and uac on. i run as administrator. when fsx boots up i click default cessna 172 at KSEA 34R and all appears ok. when i select the 747 or md11 they appear ok but after about 2 minutes a box appears saying "i am out of memory and fsx will close down" i checked the performance info tool on windows7 and the cpu is rated 7.5, memory(ram)7.6, graphics 6.9, gaming graphics 3…

Hello,I've been getting consistent CTDs in the Hong Kong areas with the MD11 (fs9). I dont seem to get CTDs with the 744.I suspect some faulty SID/STAR txt file.I have installed ImagineSim VHHH and FlyTampa KaiTak VHHX. My question is: can a faulty SID/STAR cause CTDs with the PMDG_MD11.gau error?That's the file I had involved in the CTD everytime.I've been doing complete flights from EGLL to LSZH and then LSZH to LSGG for test purpose, no CTD, everything went fine.So I suspect something is wrong near Hong Kong.Each time the Sim crashed with the PMDG_MD11.gau file, I had either VHHH or VHHX or both loaded into the FMS.I double checked the NAVDATA entries I added for VHHX,…

Ok guys,A bit of information i am passing on to you from another source.I was researching better FPS and came across a thread which mentioned something about changing you're textures to DXT3,you can change things like complex scenery textures, aircraft and terrain textures to DXT3 without loosing to much image qualitybut it improved my FPS by about 50.Other than converting them 1 by 1 you can use a widely available batch process which can be downloaded here: http://jarredspiller.co.uk/fs9/20091206_10...URE_CONVERT.zipPut these files into another folder along with all the images you wish to convert and run the convert.batI changed all the images in my FS9/Texture folder (a…
